The Role
The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.
You will ensure that we are continuously providing the best supporter journeys in the sector by designing, building, delivering and optimising omni-channel behavioural journeys at scale, in turn delivering value to our clients.
Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync, you will join an existing team reporting into our Campaign Manager and you will ensure all our charity partners and their supporters receive personal, bespoke communications to maximise fundraising for our charity partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development:
- Develop comprehensive, integrated journeys for supporters across multiple channels.
- Ensure these journeys are behavioural and provide a great stewardship experience for supporters.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supporter journeys.
- Analyse key metrics to assess the contribution of these journeys to overall goals, for example, email open and click through rates.
- Optimisation and Supporter Experience:
- Identify areas for improvement within existing journeys.
- Propose and implement enhancements based on testing and learning outcomes.
- React to key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint opportunities for journey improvements to help drive campaign performance and income.
- Make data-driven decisions to refine and improve the journeys.
- Commit to delivering a high-quality experience for all supporters.
- Address and resolve any issues impacting supporter satisfaction promptly.
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience of designing, creating and delivering outstanding supporter experiences that increase engagement, fundraising rates and average value.
- Ability to understand our charity partners objectives and translating that into exceptional supporter experiences at scale.
- Ability to analyse data and make recommendations that improve fundraising and the supporter experience.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience of writing stewardship copy and ability to adopt different charity’s tone of voice.
- Experience of using communication software.
- Be comfortable operating in a fast paced start up environment, working efficiently at pace with available resources.

About the role
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for executing Pro Bono Economics’ (PBE) fundraising strategy under the Director of Development’s guidance. This role focuses on increasing and diversifying income through building relationships with trusts, foundations, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals, while also securing funding for specific research projects in collaboration with the research team. The role includes managing donor engagement, overseeing grant applications, leading a small team, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, all while maintaining operational oversight of the fundraising department.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Fundraising strategy implementation: Deliver PBE’s multi-year fundraising strategy to expand and diversify income from major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners and research institutions
- New business development: Identify and secure new funding opportunities, focusing on building sustainable partnerships.
- Research support: Collaborate with the research team to identify funding for specific research projects and submit tailored grant proposals.
- Donor engagement: Steward relationships with existing donors, ensuring renewals and funding upgrades.
- Bid writing & reports: Develop and write compelling grant applications, case for support documents and reports which communicate PBE’s services and research programmes.
- Departmental leadership: Support the Director of Development in managing budgets, resources, and a fundraising officer, ensuring team efficiency and future planning.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to fundraising regulations and policies, including GDPR and safeguarding.
About you
Report directly to the Director of Development, the Head of Fundraising will have the following experience and skills.
Experience
- You have senior fundraising experience across a broad mix of income streams, a talent for building partnerships, bid writing and a strategic mindset.
- Experience working with research-driven organisations is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- You are happy to roll up your sleeves and spend as much time focused on immediate management and income priorities as you are on strategy and ideation.
- Will be suited to a senior fundraiser looking for their first Heads of role or someone who has already taken that step.

The Senior Fundraising Operations Officer will lead on a number of weekly and monthly data import processes, ensuring income and supporter contact data is loaded accurately onto the CRM system.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Database Manager in the management and development of the Charity CRM database, championing its use across fundraising and identifying opportunities for system development. Key tasks

I’m partnering with an international animal charity, to find their new Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager, where you will maximise income generation and support using digital channels, and provide an outstanding experience to supporters and potential supporters of the charity. In this remote based role (with ad-hoc travel to London), you will develop online campaigns and deliver digital projects.
The Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager will work closely with a Digital Engagement Manager and Head of Marketing of Digital.

The Director of Fundraising will be responsible for leading the Fundraising Team at Concern Worldwide (UK), leading the development and delivery of an effective income generation strategy to support the wider organisation strategic plans. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will be a strategic leader and champion Concern Worldwide’s commitment to ensure no one lives in poverty, fear or oppression. With the opportunity to bid to a dedicated investment fund, this is an opportunity to implement innovative income generation practices and lead the team to embed these into the organisation. With the support from an engaged Fundraising Committee Board, SLT, as well as five direct reports this role will engage and motivate the whole organisation to achieve income generation success.
The successful candidate will be an experienced fundraising professional who can demonstrate innovative fundraising strategy creation and implementation that achieves successful income growth across a broad range of fundraising disciplines. This person will need to have previously managed teams or departments before and will be a strategic leader able to motivate their team, as well as working with other senior leaders. About Us: Thank you for your interest in our Fundraising Manager role. We seek a senior, experienced international fundraising manager to grow support from individuals, major gifts, trusts and legacy pledgers primarily in the UK, but also for the ROLDA globally.
ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Since 2006, we have successfully neutered nearly 20,000 cats and dogs, significantly impacting Romania's severe overpopulation of animals.

As a Fundraising Manager at ROLDA, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our fundraising strategy. What you will do as part of our team
Community and Event Fundraising Support
- Build and maintain relationships with community and event fundraisers, ensuring they are supported before, during and after their events.
- Support on certain fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events, including the annual Sleep Out and the annual supporter thank you event.
- Draft copy for, update and create community and event fundraising pages on the Glass Door website and promotional emails which can be sent through the Glass Door mailing platform.
