ORCA believe that everyone who cares about whales and dolphins can play an active role in safeguarding their future, and we are looking for an Individual Giving Manager to develop an individual giving focussed strategy that can help secure our conservation work for the future.

We are looking for a fundraiser with experience across a range of digital giving channels and has a keen understanding of different donor journeys and is able to create high quality, targeted communications aimed at a broad range of stakeholders.

The ability to manage digital channels such as social media, web content and CRM-led communications is essential, particularly for memberships/regular giving and donor recruitment and retention.

ORCA have set ambitious but achievable growth targets over the next three years of:

• 2025: £25,000 increase in individual giving income vs 2024
• 2026: £75,000 increase in individual giving income vs 2024
• 2027: £150,000 increase in individual giving income vs 2024

This is an opportunity to build on existing individual giving income streams and catapult ORCA into the next phase of it’s growth by providing a solid financial foundation for the future of our conservation work.

This role would particularly suit someone who is looking to take their first step into a senior fundraising management role within the conservation sector

Summary

This role sits within the Research and Operations Team in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department. The post holder will work closely with frontline fundraisers to provide insight and guidance relating to the management and identification of new prospects as well as wider reporting and data management activities. By providing effective pipeline and data management, the post holder will support sustained income generation for the charity.

Main Responsibilities

This role forms an essential part of our high-value fundraising operation by working closely with fundraisers to identify and prioritise prospects through thorough desk-based research. The post holder will also be responsible for effective administration of the charity's partnership approvals process and will be instrumental to the effective rollout and adoption of the new CRM in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department.

This role is responsible for supporting the growth, planning and delivery of KCLSU campaigning and organising activity ensuring that elected officers, Academic Associations, Networks and students are enabled and empowered to create strategic, member-led campaigns. Responsibilities include:

Growing, planning & delivering KCLSU campaigns

• Provide resources, support and mentoring to student officers and student campaigners, utilising digital and offline organising models of engagement, to support them to develop hard-hitting and effective campaigns.
• Coordinate and work with KCLSU teams to support representatives and members in delivering their campaigns and communicate the impact of campaigning at KCLSU, building interest and recruiting new activists as a result.
• Deliver a range of approaches to student voice engagement, developing diverse methods of participation and innovative practices for facilitating student decision-making, co-creation, and capturing insight.
• Work with external organisations to lead on KCLSU involvement in local, national and NUS campaigns.
• Responsible for measuring and reporting the impact of our campaigns.

Developing Student Representative Communities

• Support Networks, Academic Associations and Campaign groups on-going growth and development, supporting them to build inclusive, active, and intersectional student-led communities.
• Engage with representatives through coaching, building relationships and providing support as they develop and deliver their campaigning and organising agenda.
• Ensure participation in representation is accessible and inclusive, identifying and removing barriers to engagement particularly for low participation groups.

Leadership Development

• Create and deliver training, guidance and ongoing support for Student Officers, Student Representatives and Academic Associations, equipping students with the knowledge and skills that enable them to thrive in their role and feel empowered to grow as community leaders.
• Build strong and nurturing relationships with student representatives and Academic Association leaders, coordinating effective engagement and regular contact with our members.
• Empower students – particularly those from low participation groups - to become student leaders and participate in KCLSU Elections.

Role Overview

As a member of the Supporter Engagement Team no two days will be the same. You will be essential in helping us improve the lives of those living with Crohn's and Colitis by offering fantastic supporter service and ensuring our members and fundraisers feel valued and keen to continue to support!

The Supporter Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in achieving this. By taking a lead in the day to day management of the income processing and membership arm of the team ensuring all income is processed quickly and accurately and supporters are thanked efficiently.

About You

You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner.

You will be experienced in supervising staff or volunteers and be an effective and approachable networker with a proved track record of building excellent relations with all stakeholders, using high levels of tact and sensitivity when needed.

You'll need strong written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt your style depending on the audience. You'll also be effective at managing challenging situations and competing priorities.

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required. 

You will also have experience of working with databases to produce reports and insights, as well as the managing the handling of cash and finance processes.

Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.

As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. There is scope to explore further fundraising activites including events, corporate and community fundraising. You will play a central role and work closely with our operations team, as well as recieving expert monthly mentoring from a senoir fundraising consultant. 

This role is for 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference, it will include Fridays which is when staff meetings are held.

As Fundraising Manager, you will effectively lead, inspire, develop and manage the income growth of the Psoriasis Association through implementing highly successful fundraising initiatives.  We are seeking an adept and skilled fundraiser with expertise in Individual Giving and with knowledge of associated disciplines (e.g. legacies, in memoriam). You should have a track record of achieving fundraising income targets across a range of income streams and demonstrate an ability to work with initiative, think creatively and with excellent attention to detail.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Psoriasis Association, promoting all our fundraising activities and maximising income generation opportunities. 

Some key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement the Psoriasis Association’s Income Generation Strategy.
• Produce and execute an effective and sustainable Individual Giving plan to grow income from new and existing donors.  Develop new initiatives based on insight and evidence.
• Grow and develop the Psoriasis Association’s legacy income stream.
• Oversee and manage the fundraising budget.
• General management activities – such as budgeting, planning, strategy development.

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser to take ownership of and drive the future direction of fundraising for the Psoriasis Association.

Location: USPG, 5 Trinity Street, London, SE1 1DB - Flexible working available - a minimum of two days working in the London office, currently Mondays and Wednesdays.

Hours of work: Full time 5 days per week (35 hours per week) with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Very occasional work outside normal working hours with time off in lieu.

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, the Major Donor Manager sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. 

The role involves developing plans that feed into the USPG fundraising strategy to increase engagement from high net worth individuals and cultivating new high value donors. Managing the major donor income and expenditure budgets, ensuring all activity meets income targets and expenditure remains on budget. Developing and managing a pipeline of donors to approach and build relationships, securing high value (5 and 6 figure) gifts. Hosting meetings, presentations and special events to network with high value donors and cultivate new relationships.

The Role 

As our Fundraising Manager, you will take on a key role, creating the income we need to undertake our vital work supporting disabled people. 

We are looking to further develop and diversify our income streams beyond Trusts and foundation and focus on increasing donations from individuals with an interest in our cause. 

Growing our individual supporter base, you will recruit new supporters and build on the excellent foundations laid by our outgoing Community Fundraiser to raise our profile amongst our neighbours. 

You will provide outstanding relationship management and donor care to supporters, ensuring they are recognised and thanked for their contribution. Additionally, you will develop and deliver fundraising operational plans, helping to create fundraising materials that encourage and support fundraising potential.

About You

To be considered as our Fundraising Manager, you will need: 

• Experience increasing fundraising income from individuals and achieving income targets 
• Experience of the effective stewardship of charity donors 
• Project planning and management experience 
• Experience managing and hitting budgets 
• Knowledge of fundraising good practice
