We are looking for someone to join our team as our Senior Legacy & In Memory Stewardship Officer to manage our Legacy and In Memory Retention and Stewardship programme – delivering bespoke and personal, multi-discipline stewardship and excellent supporter care to Legacy enquirers, Legacy pledgers and In Memory Donors, to build lasting relationships with these audiences and maximise income.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate direct marketing campaigns with substantial understanding of retention and stewardship journeys, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of building, maintaining and managing successful individual relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

The NSPCC’s purpose is to prevent child abuse and neglect of children across the UK and Channel Islands. Our services help children who’ve been abused, protect children at risk and find the best ways to prevent child abuse from ever happening. The NSPCC is delivering our Letting the Future In service within The Lighthouse in Camden, the UK’s first Child House. This multi-disciplinary innovative service provides physical and emotional health assessment, criminal justice and advocacy support and a range of therapeutic interventions to children and young people, following the disclosure of sexual abuse.

Main duties and responsibilities
·Provide direct services (on an individual or group work basis) for children, their families, carers and adults maintaining professional practice standards as outlined in legislation, guidance and consistent with NSPCC practice standards and guidance.
·Hold case accountability for a number of cases most of which will be complex, ensuring all safeguarding practice and case recording conforms to NSPCC practice standards and guidance. Provide professional advice to internal and external enquires.

Person specification
1. A recognised social work qualification and registration with the relevant social care county within the UK.

About Orchid Cancer Appeal
Over 55,000 men are diagnosed every year in the UK with testicular, prostate, or penile cancer. Orchid is the UK’s leading charity working in the area of male-specific cancers.
Established in 1996 by testicular cancer patient Colin Osborne, and the oncologist who saved his life, Professor Tim Oliver, the charity exists to saves lives through funding a world-class research programme, awareness and education campaigns and a range of vital Nurse-led support services. The Head of Development, Operations and Impact is required to lead a wide range of activities. As the Trusts & Foundations Manager you will be responsible for generating income from grant making trusts and foundations.
You will take the lead on seeking out new prospects and nurturing existing relationships to significantly grow income. About You:
This role is for you if you are an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser, with good knowledge of the sector. You'll have demonstrable experience of securing five and six figure grants to achieve annual income targets, both through stewarding existing supporters and through researching and cultivating a pipeline of new opportunities.
You will also be skilled in understanding and translating complex information and turning it in to compelling written proposals, for grants, corporate partnerships and major donors.
We do require someone who is proactive, hardworking and results-orientated.
Essential role requirements include:

- Fundraising strategy implementation: Deliver PBE’s multi-year fundraising strategy to expand and diversify income from major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners and research institutions
- New business development: Identify and secure new funding opportunities, focusing on building sustainable partnerships.
- Research support: Collaborate with the research team to identify funding for specific research projects and submit tailored grant proposals.
- Donor engagement: Steward relationships with existing donors, ensuring renewals and funding upgrades.
- Bid writing & reports: Develop and write compelling grant applications, case for support documents and reports which communicate PBE’s services and research programmes.
- Departmental leadership: Support the Director of Development in managing budgets, resources, and a fundraising officer, ensuring team efficiency and future planning.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to fundraising regulations and policies, including GDPR and safeguarding.
About you
Report directly to the Director of Development, the Head of Fundraising will have the following experience and skills.
Experience
- You have senior fundraising experience across a broad mix of income streams, a talent for building partnerships, bid writing and a strategic mindset.
- Experience working with research-driven organisations is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- You are happy to roll up your sleeves and spend as much time focused on immediate management and income priorities as you are on strategy and ideation.
- Will be suited to a senior fundraiser looking for their first Heads of role or someone who has already taken that step.

We are seeking a part-time Head of Finance to join our Operational Leadership Team (OLT) for three days a week.
You will have a compassionate heart and be deeply motivated by your evangelical Christian faith, with a passion to serve your persecuted family in Christ.
You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to identify the level of internal and external resource that is required to develop a hybrid delivery model to operate financial management in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Your proven track record and experience of operational financial management will ensure the accurate delivery of this, as well as oversight of the day-to-day financial operations. Your clear communication skills and accounting qualifications, knowledge and experience will enable you to convey financial information in a practical and insightful way to a number of different audiences that have varying levels of financial understanding.
