GGF applies a participatory and decentralised model in making grants to grassroots groups through regional and thematic boards of advisors, global partner networks and independent funds, to support grassroots environmental and social justice action. The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in establishing and developing Global Greengrants Fund UK’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) work. The new role of MEAL Officer will undertake high-quality data management and analysis to produce key learnings on the outcomes of GGF’s grantmaking and other programmatic activity, as well as leading system improvements to our evolving monitoring, evaluation and learning framework in collaboration with global colleagues. They will be providing support to the emerging global learning function, and the role will support the delivery of learning activities across our network to develop clear briefs, learnings and findings that can be used by other functions, including the Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to strengthen the organisation’s external and internal engagement and knowledge sharing activities. This will include developing appropriate methodologies and tools to collate, validate, summarise, analyse and report on key trends within our grantmaking using and improving on a range of data sources including grantee application forms and reports. Working as part of the UK Programme Support function and reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, the post holder will also collaborate closely with colleagues across the global organisation Global Greengrants Fund, particularly within the Programmes, Communications, and Learning teams towards realising organisational aims.

The candidate profile
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They will be an experienced, senior-level specialist with a strong track record in data collection, monitoring and analysis, with good working knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, tools and systems, and in using this information to evaluate and recommend adaptations, and in reporting. Higher-level qualifications/certification in a relevant field, post-graduate qualification would be a distinct advantage, particularly in the social sciences and/or use of mixed method approaches. They will have demonstrated experience authoring MEAL related reports, either organisational reports or academic publications; demonstrated ability to coordinate and improve the process of data collection, analysis and reporting and demonstrated experience in managing datasets, databases, programming, and other analysis software. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels. They have exceptional organisational and research abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including analysing large amounts of information from disparate sources. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies. They also thrive in a virtual environment and are motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.

We are looking for an empathic and resilient individual to join a friendly and well-established team of part-time, remote-based Information and Support Officers, on a 12-month contract. The purpose of this role is to provide a holistic, client-centred, effective and efficient Information and Support Service to people affected by M.E. We do this primarily via outgoing calls made in response to triaged voicemail messages, and also via email.

You can choose to be home-based anywhere in the UK, work from our Bristol office, or a hybrid of the two.

Our Information and Support Service team has a deep understanding of the issues affecting people with M.E. and their family and carers. Following its successful relaunch, the Air Cadet Charity is seeking a highly motivated Trust and Major Donor Fundraiser to help it achieve its aims of supporting and developing the young people of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Air Cadet Charity, until now, has had to rely on donations but Trustees have decided to expand our income generation streams in order to enable us to do more for each and every Royal Air Force Air cadet. Our activities and projects include supporting flying, adventurous training, drone piloting, participation in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, national sports and national music competitions, BTEC qualifications, STEM development as well as many others. Although the Charity had been around in a different guise for many years this is an opportunity to join a vibrant young charity at the start of its new journey to do more for the young people of our Nation.

The role will focus chiefly on sourcing funding from charitable trusts who share our goal of developing our young people, equipping them with the skills to prosper not only in the present but also for the rest of their lives. Some cadets will join the Royal Air Force, but the majority go on to forge careers in all walks of life thanks to the opportunities provided by the Air Cadets and the Air Cadet Charity. Our policy is to spend all that we earn and to dip into our capital if required. Annual expenditure and income is around £900,000 each year and our aim is to increase this to around £1,500,000 by 2029. The successful applicant will have tried and tested charitable trust fundraising skills such that they contribute the majority of the additional funds required to make this ambition a reality although we recognise that this will not be an overnight goal!  In addition, the successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills enabling them to encourage donations from major donors and all who would wish to support the development of our young people.

The role will work directly to the Charity Director, will suit someone who is able to work as the sole fundraiser – although there may be scope to increase our resources as our ambition grows – and not afraid of hard work and added responsibility. It will be primarily working from home with regular contact with the Charity Director and the Trustees responsible for fundraising.

Pitching, presenting and proposal writing should be a strength, that can be evidenced through successful fundraising. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Coordinator to work closely with our trustees and external trainers to organise and deliver community-based communication training workshops, designed to support black, Asian and ethnic minority (BAME) carers of disabled children. This is a flexible, remote position requiring a commitment of two days per week, with an immediate start. This role is supported following a grant from a large UK charity.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development, execution, and evaluation of our training workshops and associated activities.

About Yusra Jinaan Foundation:

The Yusra Jinaan Foundation was established in 2022 to honour the memory of our co-founders’ daughter, Yusra, who was born with Joubert’s Syndrome. Our mission is to bring ease to the lives of children with disabilities and their families through our work in three key areas: child, carer, and community. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop culturally sensitive workshops: Collaborate with partners to create bespoke communication training workshops tailored for BAME carers of disabled children.

• Project execution: Coordinate the planning and delivery of three workshops across different regions (Buckinghamshire, West Midlands, and the North), ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently. (Please note that whilst this role is remote, attendance at the workshops will be required. Travel expenses and subsistence for day return journeys to the three workshop locations will be covered.)

• Community engagement: Work closely with key mosques and community centres to foster strong relationships and secure buy-in for the workshops.

• Evaluation and reporting: conduct pre- and post-surveys to measure learning outcomes and participant confidence. Organise focus group discussions to gather feedback and insights. Write internal reports to update trustees and grant reports to the donor.

• Peer support networks: Facilitate the establishment of regional peer support networks to reduce isolation and promote information sharing among carers.

• Resource management: Ensure participants receive resource packs and maintain a virtual peer network for continued support.

• Budget monitoring: Ensure compliance within the budgetary limits set out by the trustees according to the project agreement and grant funder. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in a charity or community-based setting.

• Knowledge and experience of community-level engagement and outreach. 

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience in developing and delivering training workshops is highly desirable.

We are looking for 2 part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Workers in Scotland, one based in North Scotland (Inverness area due to travel requirements and location of NHS services) and one based in Central Scotland.

You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

THE ROLE
The Grants and Trusts Fundraiser will inspire grant bodies, charitable trusts, and foundations to support our mission. This is a key role in growing our funding to achieve our ambitious 2030 strategy. As part of the Grants and Trusts team, you'll craft and submit high-quality funding bids and projects, working closely with colleagues, partner organisations, and funders. The role will lead collaborative project teams, to present compelling cases to maximise funding opportunities, ensuring projects meet organisational and funder criteria. 
Attending external meetings to foster relationships and develop partnership agreements is vital to the success of this role, as is staying updated on funding trends to identify new opportunities and maintain the Trust's reputation with top-notch bids and reporting.
This is a Hybrid working role, where you’ll work part of your time at home with time spent on site and project visits (once a month depending on the project). You will also be expected to attend a team/departmental meeting in Grantham each quarter.

THE CANDIDATE
You will have experience creating compelling propositions that lead to tangible outcomes, excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, and a proven ability to build partnership bids. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. The role requires a confident, enthusiastic team player who can inspire others and work collaboratively. You will be self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, and ambitious in achieving results. Experience in project development and management, including budgets, and an understanding of impact evaluation and reporting are also necessary.

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Philanthropy Officer to join our growing team. Working alongside other team members, you will play a key role in enhancing the long-term sustainability and growth of Mary’s Meals. You will play a key role in supporting our National Affiliates and relationship managers, producing proposals and resources for philanthropic opportunities, corporate partnerships, foundations and HNW donors, to meet the needs of our existing donor base and capitalise on growth opportunities that arise.

You will be responsible for developing compelling funding proposals and philanthropic fundraising materials for a range of income streams. In this fast paced and varied role, you will build and develop strong relationships both internally and externally, with a view to supporting the research and development of philanthropic opportunities for funding.

Other key duties include:

• Assisting National Affiliates in establishing a portfolio of long-term partnerships that provide sustainable income for our school feeding programmes.
• Writing high quality donor proposals, applications and reports for a range of philanthropic bodies.
• Support the development of global fundraising materials that support National Affiliate growth, particularly in the corporate partnerships space.
• Supporting the communication of the impact of our work through compelling written stories
• Supporting the development of the Mary’s Meals suite of products and materials that communicate our strategy and attract funding and promoting their use across the network.
• Contributing to the development and coordination of organisational systems and processes that support National Affiliate growth in philanthropic giving.

With exceptional organisational skills, you will be comfortable working across multiple projects and coordinating contributions across all parts of the organisation and will bring relevant experience of designing and developing compelling funding proposals and reports. You will have strong writing skills with the ability to tailor your approach to a variety of audiences and bring the impact of our work, and our story, to life.  You will be confident in your communications and will have the ability to engage in a variety of interactions with colleagues across the movement. A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.

Our Programme Delivery Team is an integral part of our for every parent strategy, we support our commissioned contracts, our branch Infant feeding support and our Infant Feeding line on free at point of access support across the UK.  

We are seeking a capable Programmes Administrator to provide administrative support for our Project teams, NCT Baby Cafes, NCT Infant Feeding Line and our Peer Support Team. The post holder will work with the staff, practitioners and volunteer teams to ensure the smooth delivery of our projects within Programme Delivery. 

About the Role

Working closely with the contracts manager, our projects teams, commissioned services manager and our infant feeding services manager, you will be responsible administration support across the Programme Delivery department:

· Supporting branches with delivering drop-ins and peer support training, 

· Reviewing grant documentation 

· Support branch funded services including generating contract documentation. 

· Monitoring budget 

· Generate contract assignments for NCT Practitioners delivering on branch contracts including management of NCT Practitioner holiday and sickness cover. 

· Approving expense claims for practitioners and staff within our programmes.  

· Support with administration of volunteer peer supporters and the central training of cohorts. 

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily and have a keen attention to detail.
