Age UK Croydon’s very successful PIC service for older people in Croydon is recruiting for a new Personal Independence Coordinator.

PICs work alongside health and care professionals, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to working with people who have long term health and social care needs. The PICs provide critical links between formal health and social care services and the wider community support networks. We have adapted our way of working in response to COVID, helping older people to access technology and connect in new and exciting ways.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy, the Senior Partnerships and High Profile Events Manager will lead a team to drive high-value income growth, developing relationships and securing income from Corporate Partners and High-Profile Events, delivering exceptional levels of tailored engagement and stewardship. This is a unique opportunity to join CHAS at a key moment in our future developments.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have skill and experience in the following areas:
- Substantial experience of, and a strong track record in fundraising, including personally soliciting and stewarding 5, 6 and 7 figure gifts from corporate partnerships or major donors.
- Experience in income generating and stewardship event development, project management and delivery.
- Leadership skills with experience of leading a team, nurturing development and managing performance.
- Experience of strategy development and implementation.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written skills with great attention to detail, and an ability to flex your style according to the audience.
- Managing a diverse workload with multiple deadlines, deliverables and stakeholders, thinking creatively to leverage opportunities and develop relationships.

In order to achieve our vision we need a highly capable Director of Finance to build and improve on our high-performing finance function and to drive forward operational excellence.
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our financial strategy, long-term financial planning, and developing commercial strategies to maximise income and operating contribution. You will also have responsibility of cash management, risk management and governance. You will be the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) for the organisation and will lead on Property and Procurement.
This is a varied and exciting role which will provide you with the opportunity of leading a well-established team of professionals, reporting on the financial performance of the organisation together with providing analysis, advice and support to facilitate decision making to deliver sound financial management.
You will be a qualified accountant, and will need to demonstrate:
· Proven experience in a leadership role;
· Experience at Board level and ability to work in collaboration with Trustees and colleagues;
· Understanding and experience of strategic risk management, finance audit and internal controls
You will be a confident, energetic and engaging individual with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of sustainable growth and excellent service delivery. The Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme is a one-year postgraduate diploma course and is part of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Psychological Training Programmes (previously CYP IAPT). The programme trains graduate entry mental health practitioners to work in educational settings offering help for common difficulties in children and young people including anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, primarily with a focus on CBT-informed evidence-based guided self-help interventions. The programme is a key part of the Green Paper to transform children and young people’s mental health provision.
In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, Anna Freud is recruiting a Programme Director to lead the delivery of the Educational Mental Health Practitioner programme.
The EMHP Programme Director role sits within the Education and Training Division at Anna Freud within the Workforce Programmes stream in Post-Graduate Studies.
The post-holder will deliver a high quality, academically coherent and inclusive programme curriculum in line with the evolving EMHP National Curriculum, UCL and British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation standards.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of implementing CBT-informed interventions for low mood and anxiety as well evidence-based interventions for behavioural difficulties in educational settings; have a strong, demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and education and have experience in curriculum design, assessment and teaching in Higher Education.
The role is held within a supportive leadership team who are committed to improving the mental health of all children, young people and families.
Location
Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

One of our key objectives at Sportily is to develop and invest in young sports leaders. Over the past 18 months we’ve designed a pilot programme to enable this and trialled elements of it. We’re now looking for someone to further develop, shape and own our programme, to work alongside our network of Sport and Faith Coaches to deliver it and to hold leadership level responsibility for seeing the wildly important goals of the programme realised within our wider vision.
At the heart of this role you’ll hold Leadership Team level responsibility for the programme which provides opportunities, within a Christian sports centred setting and framework, for children, young people and young adults (with a priority on the more disadvantaged) to gain skills, experience, training and qualifications to increase their self-esteem, confidence and future employment opportunities. This will include responsibility for its ongoing development, leading its delivery approaches, training the Sport and Faith Team in its delivery, exploring opportunities related to the programme, monitoring and evaluating its impact and reporting this to stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who loves sport and understands how sport and movement is able to connect people and is passionate about sharing the Christian faith in innovative ways beyond the walls of traditional church. You’ll have experience in developing programmes and monitoring their successful achievement of stated objectives, and of investing in the leadership development potential of young people, ideally in a sporting context.
