Safeguarding Adviser 

The Diocese are seeking to employ an Assistant Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser and Cathedral Safeguarding Officer.  This is a dual-role post with time divided between the Chichester DBF and the Cathedral with the post holder being a member of the established Diocesan Safeguarding Team for both roles.

Location: Hove/Chichester/Hybrid 

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexi time)

Salary: £39,887 per annum

Contract: 18 month fixed term contract

About the Role

You will work with colleagues in the Diocesan Safeguarding Team (DST) to manage safeguarding casework and promote best safeguarding practice across the Diocese. You will ensure that all safeguarding casework is managed according to the Safeguarding Code of Practice, alongside the Sussex Child Protection and Safeguarding Adults Procedures and statutory guidance.

As the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer you will work with the Dean, along with staff, volunteers, congregation members and others to ensure that all participants in Cathedral life are able to fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities, and that the safeguarding culture is appropriately nurtured and resourced in line with the Church of England’s National Safeguarding Standards.

The principal duties include:  

• Providing support and advice to colleagues in the Diocese, Cathedral and parishes to help them understand their safeguarding duties regarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

• Managing safeguarding cases in line with the Church of England Code of Practice.

• Working closely with statutory agencies such as the Police, Children and Adult Service and Probation services.

• Overseeing day-to-day safeguarding administration and safeguarding training at the Cathedral.

About You

The ideal candidate will:  

• Have significant experience of safeguarding casework with a statutory safeguarding agency, with substantial practice skills in the areas of safeguarding and protecting children and/or vulnerable adults.

• Have the ability to translate this knowledge from the statutory to the non-statutory field, assisting volunteers with little or no safeguarding background to understand the issues and be confident in their practice.

• Show evidence of the ability to apply good safeguarding practise in a way that delivers positive outcomes for children and vulnerable adults. 

• Be sympathetic towards the mission of the Church, although do not themselves need to have a faith.

About the role:

We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). This is a full time role on fixed term contract. Hybrid working would be available for this role. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse who live in Central Bedfordshire. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training
• Supporting the Daily Domestic Abuse meeting in the IFD (Integrated Front Door), which discusses all medium/standard risk referrals that have come in over the previous 24 hours and agrees on the most appropriate source of advice and support for the family.
• Attending the BRiF meetings weekly where community partners bring concerns about family's they are working with including concerns about standard/medium domestic abuse.
• Professional point of contact for the IFD and Adult Safeguarding teams (also based at Priory House).
• Point of contact for any concerns staff have about their own relationships and dynamics of domestic abuse they need support with

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

Support Coordinator

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to provide stroke recovery support following a stroke.

There are two positions available:

1 x 28 hours per week – This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2026

Position: S11265 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based Lincolnshire, however, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. • Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

Job Description

You'll be an experienced qualified High Intensity Therapist with BABCP accreditation who likes working as part of a supportive team to help clients who struggle with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression.

You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of Mind and Body Practitioners and CBT Therapists. Supervision will be provided on both an individual and group basis. You will be expected to support the clinical governance of the Mind and Body service.

The Team:
The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative and high-performing team based in London. This Administrator role provides essential administrative and governance support within the Outreach Team, which plays a key role in engaging aspiring surgeons and supporting their journey from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level administrative support to the team, particularly around governance and committee management.
• Manage logistical arrangements for meetings, events, and conferences, including booking venues, travel, and accommodation.
• Minute-taking for board and committee meetings.
• Support the smooth running of governance processes within the southern region (London–Oxford and surrounding areas), while also contributing to national events and conferences.

Research Associate - National Youth Agency

Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to extend)
Hours: Full-time - 37 hours per week

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Knowledge Team, working alongside two existing Research Associates and a Data Analyst. 

You will be integral in delivering research, data, and insights that support organisational development and programme delivery across NYA.

We are looking for an experienced mixed-methods researcher with a strong understanding of social research and evaluation approaches. Ideally, you will have experience working in or alongside the youth sector and be confident using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

You’ll need to be flexible, proactive, and a strong communicator, able to explain complex ideas to varied audiences. 

This role is ideal for someone looking to make a tangible difference through evidence-led approaches that shape policy, practice, and impact in youth work.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Designing and delivering research projects using a range of methods including surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
• Supporting the development of the NYA research and data hub, including external research collation and data visualisation.
• Leading on evaluations to meet funder requirements and contribute to NYA’s growing evidence base.
• Analysing data from NYA programmes to support impact measurement.
• Promoting evidence-based practice across NYA and the wider youth sector.
• Communicating findings clearly through reports, briefings, and presentations.
• Managing research projects and collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver on time and to quality.
• Responding to internal and external research enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have experience in social research, familiarity with various research methodologies, and the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.

Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. About the role

As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022 - 2027 strategy. The Finance Manager is at the heart of Woman’s Trust; you will play an essential role and have oversight of not just the finance team – you will have direct exposure to CEO/Board Members and decision-making for the future of the organisation.

We are looking for a highly motived Temporary Finance Manager with demonstrable experience working in a similar senior level role. You’ll be a fully or part qualified accountant e.g. CIMA/ACA/ACCA/Cipfa, with a thorough understanding of charity accounting.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Marketing Manager to lead the marketing campaign for our BHF charity lottery, 'The Weekly Flutter'. 

Working with our media agency and third-party agency suppliers, this role will be responsible for the development, execution, and optimisation of mass scale, omni-channel marketing, and fundraising campaigns and marcomms within the overall BHF integrated media plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise new customer acquisition for BHF’s flagship weekly lottery, 'The Weekly Flutter' enhancing online sign-ups and optimising Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).
• Strategically own and optimise digital initiatives (Social Media, Digital Display, Pay-Per-Click) to achieve ambitious acquisition and income targets.
• Define and implement strategic frameworks that improve the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring compelling and impactful engagement for sustained support.
• Lead the development of innovative lottery and gaming offerings, partnering with Marcomms to create seamless, engaging integrated campaigns.

About You: 

As our ideal candidate, you'll bring extensive and demonstrable marketing experience in designing, developing, and managing integrated, multi-channel marketing plans that deliver successful commercial outcomes, particularly in new customer acquisition and fundraising/income growth. 

With excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of success in a fast-moving, effective marketing team, you'll have experience in paid media planning and optimisation across a full range of marketing channels. You will be adept at prioritising and managing multiple complex projects, with strong skills in data utilisation, manipulation, and analysis across various media. 

Highly numerate, with experience managing large budgets, you'll possess extensive marketing skills, a full understanding of different marketing approaches, and the ability to use marketing to secure support across a broad range of channels. Additionally understanding of the gambling and/or gaming market, including the regulatory framework and supporting processes to ensure compliance and legal adherence, would be advantageous. 

Working arrangements  

This is fixed term contract covering family leave until 31 May 2026.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.
