The Movement Collaboration Lead or Senior Movement Collaboration Lead (depending on experience) will work closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team to lead the development and delivery of an exciting emerging programme of work building collaboration for economic system change between grassroots groups and new economy organisations.
We are looking for people who are: passionate about addressing economic injustice, are excited about the role of collaboration in creating systems change and capable of creating partnerships and strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
The first twelve months of this programme will take an action inquiry approach to facilitate a mixed group of new economy organisations and grassroots groups through a collaborative process that will develop shared knowledge and practice about how we can effectively and equitably collaborate on economic systems change work through practical experiments, facilitated dialogue and collaborative research.
The role will involve responsibilities for project managing and delivering this work including programme development and delivery, developing partnerships, changemaker recruitment and support, conducting desk research and interviews, managing and running events, supporting project related fundraising, conducting project learning and evaluation and writing a learning report about the project.
Following this first year we plan to scale work on supporting collaboration between grassroots groups and new economy organisations, subject to funding we hope this could become a permanent role.
All programme roles in the People’s Economy team support work across the programme team and we see a postholder likely working on the Action Inquiry for 0.4 FTE and supporting other work strands depending on their relevant skills, experiences and interests for 0.2 FTE.

Job Description
Project Development
- Working closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team, lead the translation of existing strategic thinking, planning and relationship building into a project plan.
- Working closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team, contribute to business planning and fundraising for future development of the action inquiry beyond the first year.
- Working closely with Programme Director lead outreach and relationship building with new economy organisations, funders and other relevant stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Head of Community, lead outreach and relationship building with changemakers and grassroots groups for the action inquiry.
- Working closely with the Programme Director, develop a plan for learning and evaluation of the project.
Project Delivery
- Working closely with the Programme Team, coordinate the delivery of the action inquiry.
- Lead on organising the logistics and resources required to effectively deliver the action inquiry
- Working closely with the Programme Team, recruit and onboard changemakers to the project
- With support from the Head of Training, contribute to the delivery of learning and skills sessions as part of the inquiry
- Manage and execute the delivery of events as part of the action inquiry
- Maintain relationships with changemakers while they are involved in the project and act as a key point of contact

- With input from the Programme Team and relevant project partners write a learning report at the end of the first year of the action inquiry.
- Plan and deliver a research element of the project aimed at gathering learnings from other sectors on equitable and effective collaboration.
- Working with the Programme team develop a communications plan to raise the profile of the project and share learnings throughout the year.
Supporting other work strands
- Manage (or contribute to) other projects that contribute to achieving People’s Economy’s goals, as agreed with the Programme Director
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Team to ensure a joined-up approach across People’s Economy’s work
- These areas will be discussed and identified depending on the appointed candidates' relevant skills, experience and expertise - examples include providing programme management support of our migrant justice programme or supporting the development of our regional work in London.
Financial management and income generation
- With support from the Programme Director, develop and manage budgets for the action inquiry

It’s an exciting time for the Emmaus Federation as we roll out a new In-Form (salesforce) CRM system and interlinked Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework.
The role will play a crucial part in implementing, gathering feedback and developing new systems and tools to be utilised by Emmaus communities.
The role will be varied in nature, one day might involve conducting interviews with people experiencing homelessness, then next providing support to a member of staff to improve a communities MEL practice, the following day might involve analysing a data set and writing a briefing paper.
Who are we looking for?
The Impact and Evaluation Senior Officer will play a key role in supporting the Emmaus federation to understand and demonstrates the impact of our work.
The ideal candidate will have strong theoretical and practical evaluation skills coupled with the people skills to make this work accessible to a range of stakeholders.
They will need to be comfortable working as part of a remote team and able to travel to Emmaus communities across the UK to work with staff and companions.

About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
South & West Yorkshire is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Sheffield and Leeds hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.
Candidates should live within South & West Yorkshire, in one of the following counties: Bradford, Doncaster, Halifax, Leeds, Sheffield, Oldham or Wakefield.

You will also work with our web-designer to ensure the website is kept up to date and the annual charity report and return are prepared and submitted on-time.

To deliver money and energy advice service for kidney patients struggling with their energy and water bills and other costs of living challenges. You will provide subject matter expert support within our Patient Support Services team, and will work closely with our Patient Support & Advocacy Officers to develop and grow this service in your area.
Summary
To raise awareness of the service and build strong relationships with kidney patients, professionals, and other kidney stakeholder groups in your defined geographic region.
Key responsibilities
• With support, establish the Kidney Care UK Money & Energy Advice Service in the region for patients and carers at risk of fuel poverty to access independent support on money and energy matters
• Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Money & Energy Advice Service across the region, effectively managing an ongoing caseload
• Provide practical advice to patients, assessing their needs and identifying sources of support to resolve financial, practical and psychosocial challenges.

- Kidney Care UK Patient Grants service, raising awareness of the service and supporting applications

- With support from the Programme Director, lead the development of People’s Economy’s approach to training and workshops to create an approach and set of standards to be applied across the organisation.

Training for Changemakers
- With support from the Programme Director, design and develop our training offer.
- Lead the implementation of training, including: ○ Work with the Head of Community to develop processes to recruit and onboard changemakers to training opportunities ○ Design training workshops, working in accordance with People’s Economy’s community education framework and principles ○ Oversee the delivery of training workshops facilitated by other staff and freelancers
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Team to ensure a joined up approach across our work with changemakers
Develop paid training work
- With support from the Programme Director, take a strategic approach to identifying and developing opportunities to undertake paid training work that can both meet People’s Economy’s goals and generate unrestricted income for the organisation
- Hold key relationships, as agreed with the Programme Director, with organisations and individuals who are current and potential clients for paid training work
Supporting other work strands
- Feed in from a training perspective to the development of People’s Economy’s changemaker community of practice led by the Head of Community
- Feed in from a training perspective to the development and implementation of the organisational communications strategy
Managing projects and people
- Work with the Head of People and Operations to recruit and manage a pool of freelancer Associate Trainers to help deliver People’s Economy’s training work, and lead the training of freelancers to do this work
- Manage freelancers contributing to People’s Economy’s training work and any staff roles which (in future) report to Head of Training
- Manage (or contribute to) non-programme projects that contribute to achieving People’s Economy’s goals, as agreed with the Programme Director
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Team to ensure a joined up approach across People’s Economy’s work
Financial management and income generation
- With support from the Programme Director, develop and manage budgets when leading programmes and projects
- With support from the Programme Director, contribute to income generation by leading the development of agreed identified opportunities, including by holding key relationships with existing and potential funders

Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of People & Finance, the Head of Finance will oversee financial activities in the charity with the support of a team of two. The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial management, planning, and reporting functions to ensure the charity's fiscal health and compliance with regulatory standards. This role takes responsibility for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, forecasting, and financial risk, as well as ensuring accurate financial records and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. The Head of Finance works closely with SLT to align financial planning with the charity's mission and business plan, provides financial insights for decision-making, and ensures that funding is managed efficiently to maximise impact. Additionally, they line manage the finance team and liaise with auditors, HMRC, pension bodies and fundraising stakeholders as required.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
Strategic Purpose:
- Oversee the financial operations of the charity
- Implement robust internal financial controls and compliance with the Charity’s accounting/finance policies and procedures
- Responsibility for compiling annual budgets, 3-yr forecasts (budgets, cashflows, reserves)
- Provide strategic advice to the trustees on all aspects of finance and taxation
Engagement:
- Collaborate with HR to ensure delivery of payroll
- Act as first POC with the bank for all banking matters
- Work with HMRC on PAYE, VAT and Corporation tax issues
- Line manage the Finance Team
- Be the "technical expert" across the Finance function, advising on best practice and the application of accounting standards across the business
- Working with the finance team to implement systems/processes to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
- Support with the income related activities of the Fundraising and Business Development teams
- Preparing timely and accurate financial information reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
Delivery:
- Responsible for cash management, and manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports to inform working capital requirements
- Monitoring ongoing budgetary performance and efficiency and the production of monthly management accounts
- Responsibility for financial postings to the charity accounting system
- Manage all aspects of financial management and ensure financial procedures, policies and systems are up to date and fit-for-purpose
- Claiming gift aid in a timely manner
- Submitting the monthly pension file to the Pension Administrator in a timely manner
- Process all payments to suppliers, staff and HMRC in a timely manner
- Deliver an efficient month-end and year-end process
- Continuously improve the accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Lead the audit process, working with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Preparing and submitting the VAT return for the charity on a quarterly basis
- Filing corporation tax, charity and Companies House returns
- Undertake any finance-related activities necessary to support the charity
- Providing financial training for non-financial managers
Skills /Experience / Knowledge:
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management
- Experience working in the charity sector, with a strong understanding of charity accounting standards and relevant tax regulations
- Ability to oversee cash flow, financial transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Experience with HMRC compliance, pension administration, and ensuring regulatory adherence
- Proficiency in financial reporting, including producing management accounts and presenting to stakeholders.
- Experience in line management
- Strong interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software and financial systems
- Strong IT skills
