What You’ll Do: 

• Ensure high-quality care in line with our policies and Christian values;
• Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well-trained and motivated;
• Oversee the development and implementation of care plans
• Responsible for the home’s budget, in conjunction with the Head Office Finance Team. This includes local purchasing etc within budget limits;
• Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy;
• Engage with local support groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available;;
• Uphold the Christian ethos of the home through leadership and example. 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Management experience in a residential care home or similar setting; 
• Qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above);

Hours:

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join this charitable programme based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with a mission of working in partnership to improve healthcare globally.

About the role:

This is an exciting new role that recognises the organisation’s growth and development. As Operations Manager, you will lead on risk, financial, and operational management across the organisation’s projects and programme. About You:

You will also need to have the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

• At least three years’ experience of multi-partner projects in the international development sector, including financial management.

About the Role

This summer we have a unique opportunity to platform the story of Project-Y in the USA. We need someone to take a leading role in the management and delivery of this incredibly exciting fundraising campaign. This will give us access to approximately 73,000 young people and leaders across 900+ individual churches. This is an unprecedented exposure to potential supporters, partners, and donors.

With your skill base and expertise, could you help us to maximise this opportunity?

The Campaign Manager will drive and catalyse the support base required to propel Project-Y forward. We know this opportunity offers a concentrated pipeline to financial sustainability, both in regard to immediate one-off donations, but also longer-term multi-year support.

We have the front facing ask of the campaign in place. However, the missing piece is someone to manage and utilise the best systems and communication techniques to make sure the back-end processing of the campaign is smooth and seemless. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for donor stewardship, supporter segmentation, ongoing communication, optimising databases processes and increasing engagement to ensure the long-term sustainability of the program. 

The Campaign Manager will have excellent expereince in donor management, skilled in automated and relational communications, and ideally is passionate about youth ministry. Someone who understands church partnerships, and excels in campaign management and especially the execution. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage communications for this campaign Develop appropriate donor communication strategy and suitable platform engagement for each of the three calls of action: young people, leaders and churches. 

• Organise segment-based communications to keep supporters and those interested with the campaign informed and engaged.
• Implement a systematic donor stewardship plan, ensuring timely acknowledgment of gifts, personalised appreciation, and impact reporting to reinforce the value of their contributions.
• Gather and share stories of young people, churches, and youth leaders impacted by Project-Y.

Miscellaneous:

• Salary: depending on qualifications and experience, the starting salary will be between £40,000 to £45,000 pro rata, per annum.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust

With community work spanning three decades, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has established itself as a pioneering organisation for the local community. It uses the power of sport to educate, motivate and inspire people from all walks of life.

The Role 

The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility. 

You  will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the café, providing a diverse of community and health wellbeing projects in collaboration with Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing. They will also manage and mentor staff and trainees to deliver an effective and inclusive service to customers.

About You 

We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust's Health and Wellbeing Senior Manager. 

We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a West London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.

The other aspect is the promotion and training in the importance of food, health and performance and the Manager will work with our Trust team to create innovative content and inspiring outreach programmes. Whilst we expect the Manager to have an active interest in food and nutrition, we plan to put some catering support and training in place to support the position.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has appropriate experience to lead the food and beverage side of the operation. They will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility (Due to open in Summer 2025) and the establishment of appropriate operation and health and safety procedures.

We have developed a sustainable business plan, however you will have the opportunity of contributing to the ongoing development plan. The White Rose Forest (WRF) is the Community Forest for North and West Yorkshire and was voted Community Forest of the Year in 2024, in recognition of our leading role within the England’s Community Forests network. 2025 is an important year for the WRF as we set out our ambitious plans and targets for woodland establishment and management in North and West Yorkshire over the next 25 years and publish our new 5-year Action Plan.  To help us deliver these plans, we are recruiting for a talented Development Manager to join our WRF core team. The White Rose Forest Development Manager is a new role that will be responsible for the development and delivery of a new fundraising function and strategy for the White Rose Forest, with support from the White Rose Forest Programme Director, the wider White Rose Forest team, partners and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a confident and experienced fundraiser who can draw on their previous record of success in a similar role to build relationships with a range of potential funders and secure the best opportunities to grow our non-Government project and unrestricted income. From setting up a charitable function for the White Rose Forest to developing our fundraising strategy, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape this new role. You will also be able to call on the expertise and experience within the Community Forest Trust and our England’s Community Forests network to support your work.

The Development Manager will be employed through the Community Forest Trust on behalf of the White Rose Forest and will work as part of the WRF core team. The post holder will have access to all systems available to the wider team, and training opportunities as required.

The Development Manager, as with all members of the central WRF team, will work from home without an office base. However, there is the requirement to attend monthly meetings in locations spread across North and West Yorkshire and at other times as required by the needs of the organisation. You well therefore require the ability to travel independently to such locations.

We are Zarach, the children’s bed charity, and we’re on a mission to end child bed poverty, giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the cycle of poverty.

We are now looking to appoint, for the first time, a dedicated Fundraising Events Manager to work within our small and dynamic Fundraising & Supporter Engagement team. The Sociological Review Foundation is seeking its first Development Manager to join its team. This role, reporting directly to the Operations Director, presents a unique opportunity to drive the organisation’s strategic growth initiatives and fundraising calls, expand partnerships, and generate revenue through the sale of services.

Overall Purpose

To work as part of the Grants & Programmes Team to support organisations applying for funding each year through the Foundations grants programme.  The post holder manages important relationships with potential and current grantees, building trust and an understanding of their purpose and aims and supporting them to submit appropriate and high-quality applications for funding against the funds criteria and Foundation’s priorities. To lead on wider initiatives, as directed by the Senior Grants Manager or Senior Leadership Team, to ensure the Foundation maintains high standards and contribute to national data sharing and initiatives that strengthen the work and reach of the foundation. The Grants Manager will report to the Senior Grants Manager and will work closely with colleagues across the Foundation contributing to the delivery of the Foundation’s Strategic Plan, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

To undertake all tasks associated with BLCF's grantmaking functions including carry out assessments of grants applications and work alongside donors on donor-directed funds as required. 

Work alongside members of the team to maximize use of our in-house CRM database for monitoring and impact reporting, working with the Head of Impact. 

Provide grant-making support and advise to potential and existing grantees on our funds and programmes, to ensure open and transparent access to our programmes and proactively looking to address inequality and fairer access to opportunities the Foundation offers. 

Process all grant applications within agreed timelines, working alongside Fund Leads to review and assess grant applications effectively. 

Co-lead delivery of fund programmes, contributing to their strategic direction / donor engagement.

Carry out other associated duties, which may arise, develop, or be assigned, in line with the scale and general nature of the post.

Performance & Monitoring

Track and review monitoring submissions, working with the Grants Officers to send out reminders for monitoring forms to be returned where required, and sign off monitoring forms from applicants.

Production of delivery/donor reports as required to funders, as requested by Senior Leadership Team.

Ensure appropriate levels of training are maintained and a good working understanding of the policies and procedures of the Foundation. 

Relationship Building

Listen, learn and share the needs of communities back into the work of the Foundation to ensure we are always 'needs led'.

Maintain and share our vision and value and help those who wish to work with us understand the processes and requirements we have.

Make regular visits to funded projects as required.

Regularly connect and engage with charity forums and networks to promote the work of the Foundation and help raise our profile.

External Representation

Maintain a good working understanding of community and charity sector issues in order to better inform our work, ensuring information is cascaded to wider members of the team. 

Represent the Foundation in a positive way, at Regional and National events as required by Senior Grants Manager or Senior Leadership Team.

Proactively develop and maintain an appropriate network of contacts in the grant making sector across the whole geographic reach of the Foundation. Deliver and support workshops and seminars and fund launchesfor the Foundations existing and new programmes and initiatives. 

Provide proactive support to the CEO with other initiatives, where required. 

Be an ambassador for the work of the Foundation by demonstrating its values in the delivery of its work.
