At Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, we’re going big on charity retail. We already have nine shops located in Westbury-on-Trym, Yate, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Cinderford, Bath, Thornbury and Keynsham but plan to open up to four new shops a year over the next five years, giving our charity a physical presence in the heart of communities we have served since 2007. Our Brockworth shop is one of our next to open so this is a superb opportunity.
The shops will sell a variety of goods, as well as being a hub for our charity activity locally. Our shops need to perform well financially to help fund our lifesaving service, but we also want them to be a place where everyone feels welcome, the local community can learn life-saving skills and former patients or supporters can pop in for a chat.
We are looking for an experienced retail staff who can lead and support the financial delivery, team engagement and community presence in our new Portishead shop. Prospectus is delighted to partner with a prominent health charity in the search for their new Finance System Implementation Manager, a key leadership role responsible for delivering an end-to-end system implementation project. This position, offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, provides flexibility with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will be required to work from the office at least two days per week, with additional attendance for key meetings and events as necessary.
The Finance System Implementation Manager will oversee the implementation of Sun, Proactis, and EPM systems while managing the migration from the existing platform, Business Central. Working closely with the Head of Financial Accounts and collaborating with the finance team and other stakeholders, the post holder will ensure the new system meets the charity’s financial and operational requirements. This is a highly collaborative role that demands a strategic approach to align the implementation with the organisation’s long-term goals.
A significant aspect of the role involves partnering with the Financial Analyst to configure and tailor the new systems to meet ongoing organisational needs. The post holder will ensure that all specifications during the design phase are comprehensive and aligned with business objectives, with processes mapped effectively to support key functions. Moreover, they will work closely with the implementation partner to design and execute a robust data migration and mapping process from Business Central to Sun, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all migrated data.
We are seeking an accomplished financial professional with a proven track record of successfully leading similar ERP implementations, particularly Sun Systems or comparable platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to guide a project through all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, effective budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling the post holder to maintain clear and consistent engagement with stakeholders throughout the process.
Proficiency in Sun Systems, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or equivalent platforms is required, as is a thorough understanding of financial accounting standards. Familiarity with the requirements of the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) would be an advantage, though not essential. Additionally, candidates with experience in implementing or improving internal controls and system processes will be particularly well-suited to this role. While a recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, would be beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Store Manager to join Barnardo's on a Full Time, Permanent basis.
As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Chiswick Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. By doing so you will play a crucial role in raising the funds for the amazing services and support Barnardo's provides for children, young people, parents, and carers across the UK.

Working Pattern: As the store is open 7 days a week, the successful post holder will be required to on a rota basis which will include weekend, evening, and bank holiday working.
Some but not all key responsibilities are:
- Ensuring stock is generated over the door by members of the public and donors sign up to the Gift Aid scheme.
- Ensure that the high standard of service to customers that is expected by Barnardo's is maintained at all times.
- Implement promotions in the Store as directed by Head Office or your Area Business Manager.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation, both in the windows and the interior of the Store.
- Ensure there is adequate stock available on the shop floor, at all times, on all key lines
- Provide training, development, work reviews and appraisals for paid staff to enable them to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively.
- Create an organised and pleasant working environment for staff and volunteers.
- Actively recruit the correct/specified number volunteers to deliver the stores objectives and KPI's.
- Ensure all financial, cash handling and security procedures are adhered to as per the Barnardo's Manager's Manual and the relevant Retail procedures.
- Hold the shop keys, ensuring that the shop is secure whenever it is left unattended.
Idea Candidates Must Haves:
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.

The Role
Their specialist social housing offer has been created for people with health and social care support needs who may struggle to secure a home from other providers. Carers Scotland is seeking a Senior Employment Manager to lead our work in supporting unpaid carers in employment and employability. The role includes managing and leading the Carer Positive scheme and Employers for Carers Scotland. You should be passionate about supporting unpaid carers to enter and remain in employment, where they want to start or continue their career. A confident, self-starter you should have considerable experience of managing programmes and projects, as well experience of income generation, including preparing bids for project funding. The Avenues is an exceptional West London youth centre that guides disadvantaged children and young people to explore and develop new skills, connect with their peers and our trusted staff, and find their confidence. The Barnsley Street Project is a pilot service funded by NHS money following a bid by East London NHS Foundation Trust. It that will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for people in the catchment area of one primary care network in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. The Role
As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Area Manager, you will lead the fundraising team in the Glasgow area, while also driving growth of teams across the central belt and wider Scotland as and when required. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with your team to meet and exceed fundraising targets; leading, coaching and inspiring fundraisers to succeed.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Leadership & Coaching: You'll be at the heart of recruitment, training, and developing Fundraisers, helping them meet and exceed their targets. You'll also fundraise alongside them, setting the example of a passionate and results-driven team leader.
• Monitoring & Performance: Track key performance metrics such as membership volume, donation amount (AAC), Gift Aid, direct debits and attrition rates to ensure your team’s fundraising efforts are always at their best. Conduct regular performance reviews, offer coaching, and help your team grow their fundraising skills.
• Logistics & Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of your team, ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, and uphold the values of ethical fundraising.
• Travel: you will be expected to travel to different locations in the central belt of Scotland, and on occasion more widely throughout the surrounding areas in order to support your team. As a result, a full driving licence that is valid in the UK is a requirement for this position.
• Weekend work: You’ll be expected to work weekends to support the fundraisers on busy shifts to maximise membership opportunity.
About You
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
• A proven track record in face-to-face fundraising and team management, with leadership experience to recruit, motivate and guide your team to success.
• A self-motivated and a determined leader able to embed and lead a positive team culture of successful fundraisers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, a strong understanding of ethical fundraising, good planning and organisational skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Confident in receiving and giving feedback regularly.
• Experience using leadership models such as root cause analysis, setting SMART work objectives, and implementing Situational Leadership to build capabilities.
• Familiarity with the cause, Code of Fundraising Practice and the ability to meet targets, deadlines and support fundraisers effectively.
• Experience working with flexibility and being able to react quickly to change, and to support others through change.
