About the role 

As a Lead Worker (Intensive Case Management), you will deliver intensive, person-centred, and holistic support to people who are disadvantaged and need significant support to end their homelessness. You will be collaborating with internal and external colleagues to meet people’s immediate, acute needs and to support them to start taking steps towards ending their homelessness.

We take a bold approach to supporting people and adapt our ways of working when needed to ensure that we are providing impactful, equitable service giving everyone a fair opportunity to receive the support they need. We help people to challenge barriers put up by the system. This is an incredibly varied role as you will offer practical support such as help to attend external appointments, open bank accounts, and obtain IDs, but you will also work closely with our internal clinical psychologists to help your members to recognise their strengths and build resilience.

About you 

• You have experience supporting people with complex trauma and multiple needs including mental health, physical health and substance misuse difficulties, a history of multiple exclusion and social isolation. 

• You have worked within a relevant sector which could include domestic violence, women’s services, migrants’ services, probation, or health services. 

• You have knowledge of relevant housing, homelessness, social care, and welfare legislation. 

• You work reflectively and welcome learning through continuous improvement.

The Bookkeeping/admin role include Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes. Answering the telephone, ordering stationary. Monitoring cash flow, petty cash handling, paying invoices, communicating with local government finance team, HR and funding application /budgets and monitoring.

Bookkeepers are responsible for several duties related to managing financial records these responsibilities may include:

· Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software (QuickBooks online) or databases then filing hard copies

· Preparing financial statements showing organisation income and expenditure

· Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances

· Completing VAT returns (if related)

· Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the management of errors

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust was established in 1982 to support UK registered animal welfare charities involved with the rescue, rehabilitation, release and rehoming of domestic and wild animals; the conservation of wildlife and its habitat and the promotion of the understanding of animals and their welfare. By giving to smaller organisations, relatively modest grants can have a significant impact on animals and those who care for them.

As Administrative Assistant you will work alongside the Administrator to ensure this impact is sustained by monitoring and evaluating applications from submission through to awarding and beyond. The role

With the growth in demand from businesses to join the B Corp movement, we have created this role to assist the Finance team with a range of activities as we move to a new accounting system that meets the needs and demands of our growing organisation.  We outsource the day to day bookeeping work but the Sales Ledger invoicing will remain in house.

We are looking for a team member who has ideas and thoughts on how to improve the way we work and can input into the development of Finance Policy and Procedures.

Tasks and responsibilities will include: 

• Checking the finance email inbox and other forms of communication, dealing with queries, actioning and/or forwarding as appropriate and capturing all relevant information

• Working with Finance Officer and other team members to ensure completeness of member data such as invoicing address, contact details, pricing and credit terms in relevant databases (Salesforce and Xledger)

• Liaising with the outsourced service and internal staff members to ensure supplier queries are resolved and payments are made in a timely manner

• Working with the Head of Finance to prepare year end information for the external audit

• Working with the current Finance Officer to maintain a centralised record of all relevant communications.

• Assist Debit Card holders with administrative tasks linked to card usage

• Working with Finance staff to document and implement financial processes and procedures

• Assist with continuous improvement of systems, controls and working practices in finance and other areas of the organisation

 Skills and Experience

 Essential (used in short-listing)

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer or similar role

• Great attention to detail, with the ability to grasp information quickly

• Sales Ledger experience

• Wider bookkeeping, year end and external audit experience

• Good spreadsheet and systems skills

• Excellent organisational skills, proactive and use initiative to create improvements and find solutions

• Excellent customer service skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic growing organisation

• Organised with the ability to plan work to meet deadline

About TreeHouse School:

TreeHouse School is a non-maintained special school for pupils aged 4- 19 with Autism and learning difficulties.

There are currently over 100 pupils on roll supported by approximately 160+ staff consisting of qualified teachers, teaching assistants, allied health professionals, positive behaviour support staff and operational staff.

It is a thriving and inclusive community devoted to the education and well-being of autistic children and young people across each of its three distinct curriculum pathways, which are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our pupils: pre-formal, semi-formal, and formal. Each pathway focuses on promoting well-being, independence, and social participation, with a strong emphasis on personalised learning and positive behaviour support.

About the role:

We are seeking a new Head of Business and Operations to play a crucial role in supporting the Head to review and drive continuous improvement.

The key responsibilities in the role will include:

1. Finances: You will oversee and manage all finances and a multi million pound budget for the school.
2. Human Resources: This will include leading on people strategy, workforce planning and performance management including evaluating the schools operational model.
3. Systems and Processes: One of the immediate priorities for this role will be to evaluate systems and processes (for monitoring areas outlined in the job description) and seek ways to streamline these with innovative solutions.

This role does involve line management of two assistant operations managers as well as other office and facilities staff within the school.

You will work with the Headteacher to alleviate the administrative burdens from them but importantly support change management where identified / agreed.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in HR, finance including budget management and operations management — including management of operational performance and reporting for governance and relationship management (internal and external stakeholders).

The role of the Company Secretary involves the following key components, supported by all Trustees, staff, active volunteers and wider RUSS team:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer (maternity cover).

We’re looking for a mid-weight Graphic Designer to work in-house to create artwork for marketing and communications campaigns across a wide range of media, including print, digital, animation, and video. Working under the direction of the Senior Graphic Designer and within the Communications and Engagement team, the Graphic Designer will work across a range of different projects supporting the priorities of the charity.

This is a 6 months’ full time maternity cover role. This role is also a hybrid working role, where 40% of the role will be on campus based.

Have you got experience developing visual identities for campaigns, working with brand guidelines, working as part of project teams, and developing creative from concept through to production? Are you proficient in using specialist software, video making equipment, and editing software? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you.
