The Triage Worker sits within the Triage Team in the pilot area, working alongside the Triage IDVA. The Triage Worker will focus on all aspects of the case relating to the Perpetrator in cases where the perpetrator has been referred to the team for an assessment of suitability for a Positive Requirement during an application for a DAPO.

 Respect is a pioneering UK domestic abuse charity, leading the development of safe, effective work with perpetrators, with young people who are abusive and with male victims. Respect supports frontline organisations across the UK, so that together we can end domestic abuse. Respect has seen rapid growth over the last few years, and we now have 50+ staff and have ambitious plans for further growth and influence. This role is based within the Drive Partnership and is part of the pilot for the roll out of the positive requirement element of the DAPO’s.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide in-depth, ongoing support to a caseload of women who have been referred for support by prison staff, predominately the Mental Health In-Reach Teams and Primary Care Teams.

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to women in contact with the criminal justice system.

2. Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording.

3. Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders such as statutory and voluntary sector agencies.

We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, and highly organized administrator to provide admin support for our Inclusive Cycling team. You will act as a friendly, reassuring first point of contact providing support for those seeking our services. As a part of a small team of colleagues, you will work to ensure the smooth running of our services and play a key role in assisting the promotion of our activities. You will be in charge of keeping accurate records on our database so that we can report to our funders.

While your role will primarily be office-based, you will have the opportunity to go out and engage with our projects, meet the people we work with, and witness first-hand the positive impacts of our work. Whilst you will have at least some previous administration or customer service experience, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are most important.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for public inquiries (phone, email, online) and assist with requests, bookings, and customer service.
• Coordinate with colleagues to manage activities, events, and bookings for venues, freelancers, and volunteers.
• Troubleshoot issues with service users, freelancers, and volunteers.

• Purchase training equipment and ingredients as needed to support programme activities. 

Transition to Employment: 

• Work with the Employment & Progression team to facilitate a smooth transition for students from the training programme into the Employment & Progression phase. 

• Work collaboratively with the Employment & Progression team and/or other referral partners to identify and/or secure appropriate housing options for graduates.

Independent Age, the national charity focused on improving the lives of older people facing financial hardship, is seeking a mission-driven fundraiser to provide strategic leadership and management of their Engagement Directorate.

Independent Age believes that no older person should face financial hardship. That’s why, by 2027, our goal is to have improved the lives of one million older people. Our impact across policy, campaigning, information and advice, grant-making and partnerships improves lives by increasing the financial well-being of older people in financial hardship, enabling greater choice and independence in wider areas of life. There has never been a greater need for the charity’s work; more than two million older people are already in poverty, and millions more live their lives on the brink with precarious finances.

The role of Director of Engagement will develop and execute the fundraising strategy, growing the charity’s philanthropic (trusts and foundations, corporates and major donors) and public fundraising activities, and develop effective partnerships.  The role will also grow multi-purpose partnerships, and lead on all aspects of marketing, developing and expanding the Independent Age brand proposition, targeting key audiences and beneficiaries. The position reports to the Chief Executive and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, will play a key role in developing and executing an overall strategy to ensure delivery of the charity’s mission efficiently and effectively, with a strong focus upon increasing impact and reach.

You will need to have significant experience of developing effective fundraising strategies with a proven track record of high-value fundraising, including individual giving and securing donations from major trusts, foundations, high-net-worth individuals and businesses. You will also have experience of identifying, winning and implementing impactful corporate partnerships beyond fundraising, as well as of leading and motivating brand and marketing, and partnerships and philanthropy teams. Demonstrable experience of building and developing brands will be key, as well as experience of operating effectively at a senior level, ideally as part of a Senior Leadership Team. The role:
 
As a Young Adult Intervention Coach (YIC), you will be responsible for the assessment and implementation of tailored intervention coaching plans for each at risk young person on your caseload. You will work to achieve progression outcomes for each young person that includes reducing mental, physical, and emotional harm and supporting each young person transition to positive, thriving lifestyle both on a one-to-one basis, and in partnership with other individuals and agencies involved in the lives of each young person.

Your purpose is to identify, disrupt, challenge, and support young people to move out of harm and prevent further involvement in harmful activities. This will involve targeted street work, specialised one to one harm reduction and life skills coaching. 

Alongside this you will work with intervention frontline colleagues in tertiary intervention such as knife and gun crime crisis situations as well as working with partner agencies.

Who they are looking for:
 
You will have robust frontline experience of working with young people, including experience in engaging, assessing, and delivering interventions designed to support young people to build personal resilience and move away from harm and violence. You will also possess sound risk assessment skills and safeguarding knowledge.  A key component of the job role is case management and knowledge of good practice models, which will underpin their practice, is essential.

About the role:

As a Service Delivery Assistant you will be:

Providing a high quality and responsive administrative function for the service and whole team including Health and Safety, finance, fundraising, social media and data entry on to case management systems

About the Role

The Lead Lawyer - Africa Death Penalty Team is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya. Our casework includes work on appeals to the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in the context of historic denials of a right to appeal and related contextual challenges; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing, as well as supporting on individual strategic resentencing cases; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter. This is an opportunity to join a team that has developed ground breaking work with great success in getting people off death row, making significant contribution to legal reforms and towards abolition.

Contract, Location and Salary

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 2 days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel, and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

The annual salary is £50,571 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

This role will  play a key role in the delivery of services that will support equal access to primary medical services for people seeking asylum in contingency accommodation in Northeast London. The outreach service will offer initial health and social assessments, urgent care, and will facilitate GP registration and, and support access to wider healthcare and support services within the area through direct referrals and signposting, and coordination with other local services and partners.

As part of DOTWs Services team, you will support the service by proactively promoting DOTW’s service at individual accommodation sites, providing social assessments for residents and their dependents, escalating health issues of any immediate concern, and support responses to urgent health and/or safeguarding concerns. As part of a culture of best practice, you will ensure adherence to DotW policies and will provide support resolving complex cases, deploying your demonstrative experience delivering person-centred, compassionate care and/or advice and support to people seeking asylum or from other excluded communities.

You will lead by example, demonstrating effective advocacy, coordination, and multi-tasking skills, The role requires emotional agility, and resilience, especially when dealing with complex situations such as mental health crises, trafficking, and homelessness, where you will draw on your experience to manage complex situations calmly and compassionately. You will be someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to work productively and constructively within a close-knit team by demonstrating an open and responsive attitude and using your excellent communication skills.

You will have strong IT skills and ideally a driving licence to be able to support us to deliver our services in our dedicated mobile clinic vans. You will have the skills to work independently and manage your own and volunteers' health and safety, sometimes working alone.

You will be supported by an experienced team, regular line management, and clinical supervision. Skills in Basic Life Support, First Aid, safeguarding, mental health management, and trauma-informed approaches will be provided.
