Reporting directly to Head of Planning and Reporting, the Bid costing manager will support financial planning and analysis across the business, along with our key budgeting and forecasting processes. A key part of the role will be pricing of significant value or complex tenders with ownership of regional pricing activity. There will also be a key focus on reviewing our tender process and ensuring we continue to make improvements.

Your main duties will include:
- Lead and agree all costings including fair cost of care assumptions to ensure all business costed is financially viable
- Develop positive and productive working relationships with colleagues, working closely with FBP
- Manage the budget & forecasting process, creating sets of financial budgeting assumptions for review.
- Maintain and update rules in the budgeting software, ensuring they are amended for any revised working practices and assumptions. Update global figures when appropriate.
The successful applicant will have:

CPI has a regionally federated structure, with authority appropriately devolved to trusted leaders across the organization. At the same time, the CEO must ensure that CPI remains agile and responsive to emerging opportunities for growth and impact.
• Communicate CPI’s identity: Clarify and strengthen CPI’s identity. Ensure that our work, though complex, is communicated boldly and clearly to raise our profile. Our recent re-brand is part of this, but our next CEO will help craft a bolder, sharper presentation of who we are and how we serve.
• Global perspective and leadership: Continue to build a truly global organization, with a presence across multiple regions. While much of our team, work, and revenue are currently concentrated in the United States, we are committed to maintaining and expanding our international presence. The next CEO must have a global outlook, be comfortable working across different cultures, and actively support CPI’s vision of remaining a diverse and internationally balanced organization. It will be crucial for the CEO to lead efforts to rebalance our organizational focus, ensuring that we continue to strengthen CPI’s work across the world.

REMUNERATION
At CPI, we are committed to aligning our compensation framework with the principles of fairness, equity, and transparency. We benchmark salaries using national, country-specific data and aim to offer compensation between the 50th and 75th percentiles for all staff roles. Additionally, we maintain a 5-to-1 ratio between the most senior and junior staff, ensuring that our compensation structure remains equitable across the organization.
For the CEO role, a competitive salary will be offered in line with local benchmarking for the country where the CEO is based. As a reference, in our two largest offices, the salary range for a UK-based CEO is £170,000-200,000, and for a US-based CEO, the range is $275,000-310,000. Beyond base salary, we take a holistic approach to compensation, offering a benefits package designed to support work-life balance. This includes a generous package and leave entitlement, comprehensive health care, and flexible working arrangements. CPI’s CEO would preferably be based in the US (East Coast) or Western Europe, but we are open to discussing other locations in an exceptional circumstance. Travel will be an important part of the role, with consideration given to climate impact and effective use of time and resources. For one of the most loved animal charities in the UK, we are recruiting a Systems Accountant to develop and optimise their financial systems and improve financial and non-finance reporting though Unit4. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will ensure the Unit4 system is robust, and will enhance the value of financial data, providing insights to support the accounting function and overall systems and management tools used to inform the organisation. This will be a key role in connecting Finance and IT functions, and the delivery of any finance system changes and enhancements to Unit4.

London's Air Ambulance treats patients who experience critical injury in the capital and support them and their families on a road to recovery. This is only possible through close collaboration between London's Air Ambulance Charity, the London Ambulance Service (LAS), Barts Health NHS Trust (Barts), London's Major Trauma Centres and the wider Major Trauma Networks, to deliver groundbreaking care and save lives. To deliver this service the charity is split across two locations, with offices in Mansell St and in the Royal London Hospital.
London's Air Ambulance Charity has recently agreed an ambitious 15-year strategy to deliver the best possible care to the people of London. This strategy will involve growth into new areas of work, more complexity in income and expenditure streams, and an increased need for strong financial leadership to guide the charity, its staff and its board of trustees.
The Head of FP&A is a key member of the finance team and, alongside the Head of Financial Accounting, will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. The Head of FP&A is a key senior role in the charity to support the Directors, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret the charity's finances.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, IT and Facilities, the Head of FP&A will lead on the charity's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as having a key role in the long-term strategic financial planning process. The Head of FP&A will manage the Finance Business Partnering function which provides expert support and guidance to budget holders and key stakeholders across the charity.
Key areas of responsibilities;

- Financial evaluation of project proposals to support management decision-making, providing expertise on financial modelling, NPV, ROI, and sensitivity analysis

Who are we looking for?
- A formally qualified accountant
- Relevant and appropriate experience in finance and management accounting obtained in a complex organisation

Job Purpose

About the role
We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. The Financial Controller is to lead on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
Although the organisation is well established, this is a growing sector, and the organisation has gone through rapid change over the past few years and is therefore offering the right candidate a great opportunity to deliver change and make a real difference to WGN’s staff and clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and development of the Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer.
- Preparing the year-end statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial controls are implemented and adhered to within the organisation, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting non-finance colleagues and stakeholders in understanding all requirements related to the funding agreements.
- Leading the month-end process with the support of the Finance Business Partner and the Senior Finance Officer.
- Leading on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
- Ensuring that all restricted funds are used in accordance with the funding agreements.
- Responsible for treasury and investment management across the organisation.
- Ensuring all payroll payments are made on time.
- Leading the procurement function across the organisation.
About you
If you are someone who has strong financial reporting, budget setting, and year end processing skills, with a keen eye on details and drive to facilitate change and enhance the finance function this role would be for you.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in working with the charity sector in a similar role for at least two years.
- Work well with non-finance colleagues and trustees in delivering key financial reports in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Be a qualified accountant.
- Be comfortable working in a hands-on environment
