Accountabilities
Training Coordination:

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in a learning and development coordination role or a similar administrative position.
- Strong proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Canva, Synthesis), and other digital collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

Sightsavers is going through a digital transformation in data analytics to leverage operational insights into the reporting and decision making of the organisation. Through the capture of good quality data and the delivery of data analytics and reports to key people, we are engaging the organisation with the latest programme data from our thematic areas in eye health, social inclusion, education and neglected tropical diseases. Developing and integrating data capture systems, processes and tools into routine practices is the next step in promoting a data driven culture within the whole organisation as we build their data capture and data quality skills.
We are looking for a Data Quality and Capture Manager to work within the Data Analytics and Reporting Team (DART), and lead on the management of our new project output data capture system being built in DHIS2. They will oversee the transition from our current system to our in-development DHIS2 based system that will be rolled out over 2025, leading on the user training and support of the new system. They will be responsible for enabling teams across the organisation to capture and evaluate the quality of their data. This will involve rolling out the Indicator Reference Guide (IRG), our new standard list of indicators for project monitoring, across the organisational processes. The role will also be responsible for increasing the data quality awareness of the organisation.
The Data Quality and Capture Manager, working with stakeholders across the organisation, is responsible for project cycle management and thematic quality improvement processes, tools, and implementation. Quality improvement is at the core of Sightsavers strategic objectives, and this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the quality of project implementation at the country office and partner level. This role is responsible for analysis of quality assurance data and the continued development of Sightsavers quality assurance systems.
The role will take a lead on the strategic direction of data capture and quality for DART and Sightsavers over this transition period, setting out a roadmap for Sightsavers data capture and quality.
Key duties will include:
- Leading the data capture process for output data and quality standards in the new DHIS2 platform
- Supporting the development of the new programme management output data system in DHIS2
- Leading on data, thematic and project cycle management quality assurance
- Support the development of tools and processes to improve project monitoring
- Lead on the data collection in DHIS2 of the Learning, Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP) to support Sightsavers’ Thematic Strategies

To succeed in this role you will need:
- Proven successful track record of working with organisational data management systems (ideally in health or international development).
- Experience managing an output data capture system such as DHIS2 or similar
- Strong understanding of the international development/not-for-profit sector, with demonstrable experience in project Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). Experience producing analytical reports or communication materials for a wide range of audiences.
- Understanding of the complexities of working across multiple countries and continents in an international development organisation.

Community and Event Fundraising Support
- Build and maintain relationships with community and event fundraisers, ensuring they are supported before, during and after their events.

- Draft copy for, update and create community and event fundraising pages on the Glass Door website and promotional emails which can be sent through the Glass Door mailing platform.

Based within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, the IDVA team works within a multi-agency system to provide a proactive, person-centered independent service for victims of domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making.

Overview of Role:
As Human Resources Advisor you will be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. We are looking for a team player with excellent administrative skills, lots of enthusiasm and someone who will have a flexible and adaptable approach. They will be able to multi-task and work well under pressure using their initiative, ensuring the smooth operation company marketing.
Marketing Assistant is a new post at Open Clasp which will work closely with our producing team to deliver marketing campaign plans for our productions, community events & training programmes. They will schedule social media content, support in the creation of written, film & audio content for our audiences and monitor our website and social media analytics.

Founded in 1998, Open Clasp is part of the National Portfolio of Organisations funded by Arts Council England. We take a special interest in women and girls from the North, shining a light on their experiences through our work. We make space for debate, encouraging our audiences to walk in the shoes of women excluded from society and the arts to address gender injustice.
Our transmedia approach shapes the work of researchers and leading policy experts. We contribute to regional and national discourse, performing Key Change at the Houses of Parliament in 2016 contributing to the Prison Safety and Reform White Paper, Lasagna was used in evidence as part of the Ministry of Justice Family Law Inquiry 2020 which recommended a root and branch overhaul and Rupture is the result of the Parental Rights in Prison partnership with NEPACS and Durham University. In 2021 during the pandemic, our play ‘Sugar’ was commissioned for BBC iPlayer and was programmed on Way Out TV directly into 54k prison cells.

About you
You will be passionate about campaigning for gender justice and building the power of women and girls for social & cultural change. You will have experience of marketing and PR, and an interest in working within the charity sector. We are a fast-paced company so you will need to have strong listening skills, an eagerness to learn and an open mind to develop and share ideas as part of a collaborative team. You will have a passion for the arts and its ability to bring about positive changes in people’s lives.
Our work involves creating spaces for women, inclusive of trans women, to be creative, to talk and discuss. To apply for this role you must be a woman. The Communications Intern is a member of the Development and External Affairs team. Their key focus is enabling impactful content production and championing high communications standards. The comms intern will report to the Communications and Publicity Manager and will support the development of a consistent and effective brand story that engages and unites both our external and internal audiences.
Pay and conditions
- The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week). 9-month fixed term contract.
- The salary for the role will be £23,850 (starting salary will depend on skills and experience).
- You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Create engaging digital content for website, social media, and e-newsletters, through written copy and graphics.
- Support the management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.
- Plan, manage, and deliver 4-6 small (30-40 people) in person or larger online (100 people) events annually, including coordination of logistics, content development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support with edits to designed materials including factsheets and leaflets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support internal communications including organising systems and producing our monthly internal e-newsletter by creating content that motivates employees and informs them of important issues.
- Support with digital channel optimisation including PPC, SEO, social media (paid and organic).
- Support the development of CSE’s social media presence through content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement and reporting.
- Contribute to the operational success of CSE by assisting the team with administrative and organisational duties as necessary. Collaborate with all teams to ensure cohesive delivery of our brand story across the organisation and through all communications.
- Collaborate with teams to monitor brand health, analyse audience insights, and refine our communications strategy.
- Ensure content strategy and resulting core content (incl. image library management, print production, core content, copywriting, designed asset production, and management) is up to date, consistent with our brand guidelines, of high quality and readily available for use by the CSE teams.

Essential attributes for this role include:
- Minimum Maths and English GCSE.
- Experience of using social media to engage with communities and individuals.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Creative – ability to translate business requirements into engaging content. Ability to present complex information in an accessible and appropriate manner. In particular, creating engaging visual content.
- Flexible and able to respond professionally to changing briefs, deadlines and priorities.
