ABOUT THE ROLE 
You will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of the organisation. You will
also lead on the charity’s year-end accounts ensuring that financial statements are prepared in line with the latest SORP requirements, and liaising directly with the organisation's external auditors.
The main purpose of this role is to:
- Manage the accounts department to run efficiently and effectively. 
- Ensure sales and purchase ledgers are accurate and up to date, other income is recorded accurately, profit and loss reports provided monthly and management reports are provided quarterly and end-of-year is completed on time. 
- Manage banking arrangements to make supplier payments, collect income through direct debits and online payment gateway.

he Corporate Services team provides essential strategic and operational support across the organisation. Our governance function oversees compliance, risk management, and performance frameworks. Purpose of this role  

The Business Support Administrator will provide high quality support to the Board of Trustees and its sub-Committees, and the Chief Operating Officer. This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Director General. 

Responsibilities and Expectations  

• Provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Chief Operating Officer, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. 

• Coordinate the preparation and timely circulation of agendas, papers, minutes and action logs for Board and Committee meetings. 

• Monitor and report on progress against Board and Committee actions, ensuring timely follow-up and delivery 

• Support the delivery of the annual Board effectiveness review, gathering feedback and helping to implement improvements. 

• Assist with the planning and delivery of the annual external audit, working with colleagues and auditors to meet key deadlines.

Room to Heal is an established therapeutic community in London. We support refugees and people seeking asylum, many of whom are torture survivors, through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance, in the context of a community of survivors. Overview of the International Chief Support Officer

The International Chief Support Officer will assume responsibility for all central operational functions across the organisation, namely HR, Finance, Facilities, Technology and Data.

• At least 3 years experience in a systems change approach in developing the work of an organisation and  supporting/supervising staff and projects management

• Good level of knowledge of employment, immigration and welfare policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

The role of the payroll, reward and reporting People and Culture Officer will be fast paced with high volumes and lots of working across the team.

• Running their monthly payroll information and getting this over to the payroll team in finance so everyone gets paid correctly.

• Generating people data reports for all levels of the organisation. This includes headcount reports, total reward statements and any other ad hoc reports that are requested.

What you will need to succeed

• Ability to prioritise your own workload and completing tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Experience of running payroll process for a similar sized organisation (c400 employees)
• Experience of HR information systems is essential (experience of Cascade HRIS is desirable)
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word and advanced knowledge of Excel
• CIPD qualified to Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience
