The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

• Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

• Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

• £37,306 per annum pro rata (Grade B), plus commission, car allowance, and a share in a company-wide performance bonus.

The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Assistant to support the Marketing & Communications team based at our London or Glasgow offices.

This exciting role will provide support to the Marketing and Communications team as we work to get mental health information and advice to the people who need it and support the wider organisation’s communications needs. In this varied role, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day workload of the team, as well as creating content for our diverse audiences.

What does the role involve?

• Writing engaging, channel-appropriate content, such as social media posts or marketing email content.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to clarify briefs, source copy and imagery, gather feedback and progress projects to agreed timelines.

You will be working with our Brand and Communications Team to craft on-brand communications across our social media platforms and website. The role:

This role offers the chance to work with a global NGO, providing valuable experience in tackling key global development challenges, along with hands-on involvement with project and partnership management systems, grant tracking processes, and an opportunity to contribute to the development of impactful programmes. It provides exposure to the operations of an International NGO, invested in community-led holistic solutions to some of the most pressing problems of our times. You would enhance your knowledge and experience of the charity sector funding landscape in the UK and internationally. You would significantly expand your practical knowledge of project delivery and monitoring in diverse areas of international development such as water and sanitation, prevention of violence against women, food security and nutrition, rural livelihoods, biodiversity conservation, and community disaster resilience. You would write about our projects for funding applications and project reports, blog posts, newsletters etc. You would have the chance to network with other NGOs and funders at events and international development conferences. You may have the opportunity to travel to south Asia or Africa for project evaluation or conferences / networking, subject to funding. As you gain experience, there may be scope for you to contribute to project design.

You will be working in a friendly, professional environment There may be opportunity to increase hours to full-time subject to funding.

Person specification:

You would  research potential funding partners, write grant applications, and manage successful partnerships, including trusts, foundations, corporate groups, and statutory sources. Some charity-sector fundraising experience is desirable.. The ability to draft inspiring narratives for different audiences, as well as creating programme budgets using spreadsheets are crucial aspects to this role.. You would research and attend relevant events and identify other such opportunities to promote Pragya’s work, to network, and to learn about the latest research and trends in international development. You would contribute to Pragya’s social media posts, campaigns, and the charity’s administrative needs. A basic lf knowledge of video editing and media tools like Canva would be an advantage.

The UK branch of Pragya is a small team; the ideal candidate would be a self-starter, capable of managing their own work load. Those passionate about working in international development are encouraged to apply. We are looking for candidates who would anticipate being able to make at least a two-year commitment.

Your role 

You’ll be securing financial support for Brigstowe from individuals while simultaneously raising its profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing efforts. This work includes:   

1. Building relationships with community groups and corporate organisations, managing individual giving through the ‘Friends of Brigstowe’ programme, organising fundraising events and providing supporter care.  

2. Developing and implementing marketing/comms strategies to promote Brigstowe’s work, producing branded materials (newsletters, reports, blogs, videos), overseeing our website and social media presence, and handling media relations.

You’ll have a proven track record in community fundraising, with a good understanding of stewardship that converts supporters into champions.

Creative and proactive, your previous marketing and PR expertise will bring compelling stories to life across various platforms, enabling us to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll be someone who networks comfortably and spots opportunities others might miss. You’ll be resilient, self-motivated, and be meticulous with a strong eye for detail and fantastic planning skills.

Working closely with the Communications Lead and the Director Partnerships & Communications, the Social Media & Website Officer will lead the development and execution of the charity's social media and website content in line with the charity's freshly implemented communications strategy, with the ability to propose new ideas and insights.

Responsibilities:

• Create, schedule, post and curate content tailored for the website and various social media accounts
• Develop interesting and relevant content, including writing posts and articles, producing short video clips and visual assets, and other forms of multimedia
• Plan and execute (social media) campaigns in support of the goals laid out in the communications strategy
• Actively engage with the charity's existing online communities, and build new ones, by taking part in discussions, and answering comments etc

• Experience designing, maintaining, and monitoring websites, working with content management systems and Search Engine Optimisation
• Recent knowledge of online communications, digital marketing, outreach, community building and fundraising, tracking, optimisation and other new development such as Google Analytics

• Taking full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of designated projects from start to finish.
• Organising cultivation events, including venue sourcing, booking, and attendee management.
• Organising international trips for clinicians, including: booking flights and accommodation; organising travel insurance; managing visa applications and other necessary paperwork; managing all communications with clinicians.
• Bringing teams to the UK for training visits, including: liaising with hospitals and relevant departments; organising flights and accommodation; managing visa applications and other necessary paperwork, managing all communications with clinicians.
• Coordinating and producing/accessing training videos and resources, and liaising with the specialist website provider for upload and management.

Charity Development

• Working to manage charity activities, including, but not limited to:
  • Positioning CLEFT as a respected charity and ensuring it works to influence and encourage good practice within the sector.  
  • Liaising effectively and working with the Board of Trustees, committee members, and section leads, as well as other relevant stakeholders.  
  • Seeking opportunities to promote and develop the charity within the sector.  
  • Supporting the charity in development opportunities with sector specialists, outside organisations, and other key stakeholders to develop relationships on behalf of the charity.  
  • Maintaining a direct link to the Board of Trustees, committee members, and section leads through meeting attendance and ongoing comms via email/WhatsApp, contributing effectively where needed.  

Other areas of responsibility

The Deputy Operations Officer should be prepared to perform other duties that may be necessary from time to time, falling within the remit of responsibility of this post and appropriate under the charitable objects and development plan. These may include but are not limited to:

• Shared running of the virtual office.
• Regularly liaising with Trustees and keeping them updated.  
• Updating and adhering to CLEFT’s policies and procedures, including the development of new policy when directed or identified.  

As a small charity, all team members need to be flexible with their approach and be willing to undertake basic duties as and when required.
