Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based. You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.
It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them.
You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress.
You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives;
Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is the UK’s leading health and research charity for pulmonary fibrosis. We are seeking an organised, driven individual with excellent written communication skills to help us grow income from grant making trusts and foundations. This role will raise vital income that will help us support more people affected by pulmonary fibrosis, and fund ground breaking new research that we hope will help stop lives being lost to pulmonary fibrosis.
APF supports people affected by pulmonary fibrosis - a cruel and terminal lung scarring disease that cuts thousands of lives short in the UK each year. There’s no known cure, and it’s on the rise. We want to stop lives being lost to pulmonary fibrosis, and as we enter a new five-year strategic period, income growth underpins our ambitious and exciting plans to grow research, support and influencing.
As Trusts & Grants Coordinator, you will produce inspiring funding applications and reports, and develop relationships with new and existing funders. As well as building on our pipeline of grant making trusts, you will also support the development of income from statutory bodies such as local authorities.
We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, and who is able to write impact-driven funding proposals and reports to inspire sustainable funding. The Brilliant Club will work in partnership with Jesus College, University of Oxford and King’s College London to engage with parents in Newport. About the role
The service offers peer-led self-management and physical activity courses both within communities and online. Courses are designed to support people to develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills to live well with their condition.
You will help us to develop and pilot services for young people transitioning from our Young People and families service to adult services.
You will help us to ensure our services reach diverse communities in the North West, by co-producing resources and testing ways of working.
You will co-ordinate all aspects of the Versus Arthritis service, including recruiting volunteers, course promotion and building relationships in the community. You will be responsible for supporting volunteers to deliver services, as well as monitoring and evaluation so that we can effectively demonstrate the impact the service is making.

The Associate Director of Local Fundraising is a senior role within the Income, Innovation and Engagement directorate; a highly ambitious and professional team which is working to grow income and strengthen the organisation’s voice across the UK as the leading end of life care charity in the UK. Marie Curie has ambitious financial growth targets and needs to drive net contribution, engagement and awareness if they are to achieve their fundraising ambitions and subsequently their service growth goals.

The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in a fundraising environment with a successful track record in increasing voluntary income or revenue. This will be combined with a proven track record in managing large high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
