This brand-new Corporate Partnerships Manager is all about developing strategic relationships with companies and business leaders who want to dive deeper with Manchester Pride, and create even greater impact for queer communities - all year round. You'll support businesses to power up their ESG and CSR strategies with initiatives like Charity of the Year, as well make strategic alliances with organisations to create inclusive and fairer spaces - both internally for their employees and externally for the wider queer community.

Practically on a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:

• proactively identify and qualify partnership opportunities;
• develop and steward relationships;
• think creatively and tactically to develop compelling proposals;
• lead pitches and represent Manchester Pride at key meetings.

About you

We're looking for a passionate and skilled fundraiser or business development professional, with experience of meeting ?nancial targets. You've got a proven track-record of building corporate partnerships from the ground up, seeing them right through from lead generation to implementation and demonstrating impact for both charity and business.

About the team

It’s an exciting time to be joining Shelter. There’s a lot of change happening following the launch of our new brand, which has re-positioned the organisation and set the base for us to tackle what has grown from a housing crisis to a national emergency. We currently run a network of around 90 community charity shops across the UK - from small boutiques to large furniture shops. Our online offering has grown rapidly over the past two years, with significant turnover during the Christmas peak, success in the launch and promotion of new goods, plus the launch of our secondhand online shop – and we’re planning to expand further in the near future.

About the role

This is a great opportunity not only to see e-commerce in action, but to help deliver an e-commerce strategy, grow Shelter’s sales of second-hand goods and raise income to tackle the housing emergency. Day-to-day, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the E-Commerce Hub Manager and local area shops to maximise the hub’s financial contribution to support the work of Shelter through the effective management of volunteer, stock and premises. Young Responders is an exciting new St John Ambulance project which has been made possible by funds raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery and awarded through Postcode Innovation Trust. The project aims to engage and empower young people from diverse communities who face the greatest health inequities to become active health citizens, through peer-to-peer learning and practical physical and mental health first aid sessions relevant to the challenges they face. Aimed at young people aged 14 to 25 (or 11 to 25 for broad access), who would not typically come through our doors. Young Responders will use existing St John young people and volunteers to deliver first aid training to young people from under-served communities. To deliver this ambition, young people and volunteers will become Community Champions who will deliver sessions that are local to young people and reflective of their needs and those of the community in which they live. The Facilitator will be responsible for directly leading and delivering first aid training sessions with community organisations and educational settings. This role will also offer pastoral support to those delivering sessions to support their welfare and wellbeing.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us and influence real change in the South of England, helping us drive our Paths for Everyone vision forward, a vision of a more sustainable future in transport.Paths for Everyone 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will help us to shape and develop the future for the National Cycle Network (NCN).  You will design, develop, and maintain the NCN, connecting people and places, and provide traffic-free spaces for everyone to enjoy.   

Your experience with managing complex construction projects and your broad understanding of transport planning, will help you lead and support a small team, as you oversee a budget of several million pounds a year, ensuring the delivery of impactful programmes and projects on the National Cycle Network, whilst aligning with Sustrans’ vision and Theory of Change. 

You will draw on your experience and understanding of the principles of walking and cycling network planning to support the team with the delivery and quality assurance of Local Cycling and Walking Plans and feasibility studies for active travel routes. 

You will help us be financially sustainable too, by taking a strategic approach to funding opportunities. You will help us build relationships with landowners, local authorities, and others, so that we can work in partnership to make things happen.  As part of this, we are working with local authorities to create a 20-year plan for the delivery of the NCN, which involves aligning projects with local strategic priorities. 

We offer true hybrid working, with a mix of working from Bristol hub at least 1-2 days a week and the opportunity for home working, with flexible hours offered to suit individual circumstances. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake the project on behalf of Sustrans. You will be occasionally travelling across

Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Regional Safeguarding Lead role is to support safeguarding practice in dioceses and cathedrals across the Church of England.

As a Regional Safeguarding Lead, you will support the development of best safeguarding practices in one of eight regional clusters of Diocesan Boards of Finance (DBFs) and cathedrals. Providing professional supervision and quality assurance to Safeguarding Officers, you will support the implementation of the National Safeguarding Standards to encourage consistency of practice. You will also support Church bodies to respond to the findings of the Independent Safeguarding Audit Programme.

You will facilitate the sharing of best practices and resources, group supervision, and the commissioning of joint initiatives between Church bodies. Working closely with senior managers, senior clergy and other stakeholders, you will ensure Church-wide consistency in approach.

You'll be responsible for:

• Providing 1:1 professional supervision to Safeguarding Officers in dioceses and cathedrals, informed by the 4x4x4 integrated/restorative model of supervision (Morrisson & Wonnacott).
• Providing advice and guidance on individual cases and safeguarding-related situations.
• Using tools and frameworks to examine practices and processes ensuring the Church of England's National Safeguarding Standards are being consistently met or worked towards.
• Leading regional networks of safeguarding professionals from dioceses and cathedrals, and facilitating joint working, sharing of resources and other mutual support arrangements.
• Establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders within dioceses and cathedrals, in particular, their senior leadership teams.

To teach and work as part of outreach team and as part of main school teaching team

We know there is a growing need for Education Other Than at School packages (EOTAS) of support for children and young people with Autism who are not yet able to access education in a school environment. This role would be to support students with school-based anxiety who are not yet ready to access a school environment. The role would also entail working at Inscape House School as part of the main teaching team.

Inscape House School is a non-maintained ASC specialist day school for children and young people aged 5 to 19 years. It is part of the Together Trust, a charity that has been providing care, education and support in the Northwest of England since 1870. The post holder will be a member of Inscape House School on the Cheadle campus and part of the EOTAS Outreach Team.

Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Regional Safeguarding Lead role is to support safeguarding practice in dioceses and cathedrals across the Church of England.

As a Regional Safeguarding Lead, you will support the development of best safeguarding practices in one of eight regional clusters of Diocesan Boards of Finance (DBFs) and cathedrals. Providing professional supervision and quality assurance to Safeguarding Officers, you will support the implementation of the National Safeguarding Standards to encourage consistency of practice. You will also support Church bodies to respond to the findings of the Independent Safeguarding Audit Programme.

You will facilitate the sharing of best practices and resources, group supervision, and the commissioning of joint initiatives between Church bodies. Working closely with senior managers, senior clergy and other stakeholders, you will ensure Church-wide consistency in approach.

You'll be responsible for:

• Providing 1:1 professional supervision to Safeguarding Officers in dioceses and cathedrals, informed by the 4x4x4 integrated/restorative model of supervision (Morrisson & Wonnacott).
• Providing advice and guidance on individual cases and safeguarding-related situations.
• Using tools and frameworks to examine practices and processes ensuring the Church of England's National Safeguarding Standards are being consistently met or worked towards.
• Leading regional networks of safeguarding professionals from dioceses and cathedrals, and facilitating joint working, sharing of resources and other mutual support arrangements.
• Establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders within dioceses and cathedrals, in particular, their senior leadership teams.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to work with us as an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager (Internal). Reporting to the Strategy Lead, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and working with key stakeholders and colleagues across the whole organisation to implement our internal For Everyone Strategic Framework. As a charity for everyone, this framework outlines our approach to embedding equity, diversity and inclusion internally within our organisation and externally in our delivery work.

As the EDI Manager (Internal) you will be implementing the For Everyone Internal Action Plan to help us become a more diverse and inclusive place to work. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management, from scoping and planning to executing, reporting and evaluating necessary change initiatives across the organisation. 

Ensuring quality and timely execution, you will be managing specific EDI work projects and change initiatives, as outlined in the Action Plan.

About you

You should have previous experience of managing and implementing EDI related initiatives, including supporting colleagues to embed EDI in their work.

You will be skilled in project management, with excellent time management and organisational skills. You will also be accustomed to multitasking to tight deadlines.

You will demonstrate a strong ability to interpret, analyse and present qualitative and quantitative data and use it to evaluate the impact of projects or initiatives.

Are you a qualified Accountant looking for a role that will have a direct impact on the future of a not-for-profit social housing organisation and positively influence customers lives? As our client’s Financial Planning Manager, you’ll support the strategic direction of their business through the development and maintenance of the long-term business plan and agile modelling. 

About the role and person:

As their Financial Planning Manager, you’ll use your Brixx modelling experience to model scenarios that will develop and maintain their 30-year business plan to enable the business to make informed decisions about their future financial health and growth potential. Key aspects of this role include treasury management and cashflow forecasting. You’ll support the liquidity strategy through the provision of accurate and timely cashflow data, sector specific and market insight information. You’ll use your knowledge of the business and markets to assess risks and opportunities.

You’ll have:

- Fully qualified accountant.
- Experience of using Housing Brixx.
- Treasury management experience.
- Awareness of cashflow management.
- Advanced spreadsheet modelling skills. 
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering great customer service. 

Location

The successful candidate will be contracted to their Bradford office. Colleagues are required to attend the office once a month for team meetings and become immersed in their culture but are encouraged to work from the office once a week. 

They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.

They’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £61,253 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
