The Role of Website Designer
We are seeking a talented Web Designer to work on two key projects over a 4.5-month contract period:
1. DBF Project: This involves implementing a full website remap, refresh and improvement to the current UX and design. The planning phase is complete, and the design process will be based on the existing platform/provider.
2. TFC Project: This will focus on creating a new website on a new platform, replacing the current site. There will also be a requirement for content management and integration.
This is a short-term post with the opportunity to work on impactful projects for dynamic organizations. If you have a keen eye for design, platform versatility, and experience in website creation and improvement, we’d love to hear from you!
The main responsibilities of the Website Designer are:
- Refresh the Diocesan Board of Finance’s website to improved clarity and user experience.
- Work within the existing website platform and in collaboration with the platform developers, Church Edit, who are funded and supported by a consortium of 20 Diocese.
- Liaise with organisational department leads to ensure content is accurate and up to date.
- Work with the Communications team to improve the current website’s overall functionality and design.
- Redesign Together for Change website and ensure the website content is accurate and up to date to outline the charity’s projects and keys areas of focus.
- Demonstrate through an updated online presence, Together for Change’s key partnerships
- Update Together for Change’s social media presence and ensure to align with updated website content, the DBF’s website and the charity’s ‘Saints Projects’ online presence.
What we are looking for in a Website Designer:
- Experience in website creation and upgrades to improve website functionality and design.
- Experience of engaging with a variety of audiences through social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and X.
- Experience of implementing a new site map.
- A creative and proactive mindset, with a key eye for design and an ability to think innovatively across a number of platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to liaise with relevant teams and department heads, platform developers.
- Excellent written and communication skills to engage with a variety of audiences through online platforms and media content.
- Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.

Summary of Role:
The Head of Donor Development & Impact is crucial in driving Choose Love's strategic and financial growth and impact. THE ROLE
NEA is looking to appoint new Warm and Safe Homes (WASH) Advice Line Co-ordinator posts on a full time (37 hours per week) basis; but we are happy to receive applications from candidates who may wish to work part time hours as we would be prepared to appoint posts as job share opportunities. WASH Advice Line Co-ordinators will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders who are contacting the charity for a range of energy related advice matters. Co-ordinators will need to be empathetic, polite and have good listening skills but may also need you to be assertive and confident in order to provide support to clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
Whilst call centre or customer service experience will be advantageous, empathy and an ability to understand client needs is paramount and our training will give successful candidates the knowledge to succeed in the role.
The post holder’s main responsibilities will be to deal with customer and partner emails, calls, live chats and off- line tasks. These will include:

Provision of day-to-day support to our customers and partners (referral organisations) on any queries, or issues, through answering telephones calls and emails.

Process, resolve or escalate client queries within the WASH and wider team in line with the internal process.

As a WASH Advice Line Co-ordinator, you’ll be in the front line of the provision of solutions to client queries and issues as part of a wider team.

Maintenance of appropriate client records and necessary data using client management systems to ensure the progress of work towards project targets is monitored and that project outcomes are fully recorded.
The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects which will demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders.
The posts sit within the Communities Directorate and are part of a dynamic and caring team of professionals who go the extra mile to support their clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
You should be able to demonstrate understanding or experience of energy efficiency, you will be empathetic and be a good listener – as well as demonstrable experience of responding to the needs of clients in direct contact settings. You will have the ability to work with a wide range of people and demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable householders, low income and/or other disadvantaged groups.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a range of communities and individuals.
An awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them, is desirable, although not essential.

- A good honours degree or equivalent qualifications/experience
- Significant experience in the design and delivery of financial services at a large and complex organisation. Experience in HE or similar sector preferable but not essential

- Strong understanding of credit control processes and commercial and more collegiate approaches to debtors and recovery of funds due
- Experience of commercial negotiations and delivery of change projects for the provision of new or improved financial services, finance partnerships and/or transactional assistance

About us:
Hospice at Home’s core service is its skilled team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who provide exceptional care and support in people’s last year of life and at end of life, also providing additional services such as Lymphoedema, Bereavement and Family Support, Befriending, Occupational Therapy and Complementary Therapy.
We provide individualised care and support to improve quality of life and our end of life care helps facilitate a peaceful and dignified death in the home and support to those who are bereaved.
Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 85% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families. Our Fundraising team plays a huge part in raising these vital funds.
Our clinical service area covers a mixture of urban and rural communities, a region of approximately 1,500 square miles throughout North and East Cumbria.

Summary job description
They liaise with the Director in order to prepare the annual budget for Finance Committee and Council. They also monitor the institute's bank accounts, administer and prepare the Pay Roll, process invoices, maintain the ledgers, prepare and submit the accounts to the Charity Commission, liaise and prepare the institute's accounts for its annual audit, and prepare the relevant summary section for the annual report. Summary duties therefore include to:

- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and file online
- Prepare and submit quarterly returns to Inland Revenue for VAT, and annual returns to Charity Commission for four charities.
- Organise and attend four annual meetings with investment fund managers and monitor investments
- Assist the Director in all financial and statutory matters, as required
- Grant applications/ reporting: assist staff as required and monitor reporting schedules

The Opportunity
The Partnerships Manager will support the team in delivering ambitious membership growth targets for the College. Working closely with the Associate Director: Partnerships, the Partnerships Manager will take responsibility for:
- Developing and delivering presentations to drive Chartered College membership, ensuring that trainee teachers, teachers and school leaders are aware of and join the College, including at conferences and sector events.
- Developing new partnerships to support scalable income generation for group memberships, Chartered programmes, accreditation and projects, and introducing bespoke opportunities for customers and stakeholders.
- Supporting existing partnerships and, through those relationships, identifying wider sector challenges for the College to address. This will include working closely with the Associate Director for Professional Learning, Marketing and Communications Manager and Head of Content.
Membership sales
Most of your time you will be working towards achievement of objectives (including sales and account management and supporting overall membership numbers) and income targets for the full range of products and services including group membership, Chartered programmes, accreditations and projects offered by the College. You will build and maintain a sales pipeline to report to the Associate Director: Partnerships.
Membership engagement
You will spend some of your time managing and implementing workshops, webinars and activities for groups of trainee teachers, teachers and leaders to drive membership engagement, upgrade, renewal and recruitment. This will require regular travel throughout the UK. You will also liaise with training providers, universities and appropriate bodies to support student recruitment and upgrade to ECT membership.
Account Management
You will spend some of your time:
- Maintaining excellent account management and first-rate customer service with both existing and new partners and customers.
- Working closely with Members, Fellows and supporters of the College to build and maintain relationships and expand potential partnership opportunities.
- Maintaining records in the College’s CRM system (Salesforce), and ensuring colleagues are informed of customers’ status and opportunities.

Power for Democracies is a new international pro-democracy research initiative with a mission to protect and strengthen liberal democracies around the world. Your responsibilities as the Head of Communications:
- Help position Power for Democracies as the "go to" evidence-based research and evaluation entity in the pro-democracy field with relevant stakeholders, donor groups, networks, institutions, and civil society spaces.
- Recruit and build the small communications team in charge of Power for Democracies’ communication and distribution formats, channels, and tools.
- Develop Power for Democracies' outreach and dissemination strategies (in close collaboration with the Knowledge + Research team) to gain meaningful attention from experts, the pro-democracy space, and donors alike.
- Develop effective media and communication formats that best address the needs of our target groups (websites, white papers, podcast/videocast features, talks etc.).

What you bring:

Purpose
This is an exciting time at CBM UK, as we continue to grow and develop our philanthropic
fundraising. To help us achieve our ambitious long-term goals this role requires an
experienced and passionate individual to be part of our Philanthropy Team.
This vital role will lead the programme to build and grow our relationships with High-Net-
Worth Individuals (Major Donors) over the next five years and beyond. Working alongside
the Head of Philanthropy, you will seek to build upon current relationships, as well as
identifying, researching and cultivating relationships with new and lapsed major donors to
increase income for CBM UK’s work.
CBM is a Christian charity, and as a key supporter facing role, the position holder will
represent CBM’s purpose and ethos to all external audiences and will be sympathetic and
embracing of Christian beliefs and values.
You will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled Fundraising and Communications team,
dedicated to inspiring people in the UK to help transform lives in some of the world’s
poorest places.
Responsibilities and areas of work
This important role will seek to develop our Major Donor income stream, seeking to grow
both numbers of donors and income raised. At CBM, a Major Donor is considered to be
one who has the capacity to give £5,000+ per year and who relishes the opportunity to
have one-to-one, personalised interactions with CBM.
This role will seek to identify new high-level donors, as well as help to develop existing
relationships with our generous supporters.
Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO and Leadership Team, other team
members and (occasionally) external consultants, this role focusses on building and
consolidating our major donor portfolio, so increasing our donor base and thus our in-year
and pledged income.
Main Goal:
To successfully steward a portfolio of new and existing major donors through tailored
approaches, so securing repeat and multi-year gifts to achieve agreed income targets and
KPIs.
This will be achieved through:
1. New business acquisition:
a) Analysing our current supporter base to build a prospect list, using our database
(Salesforce) and external databases, to assess the potential to upgrade active,
lapsed and prospective major donors.
b) Researching, identifying and securing major donor prospects, through the
identification of high-net-worth individuals who may have an interest in CBM’s work,
and through proactive and effective networking, including working with our Trustees,
Patrons and Ambassadors.
c) Identifying next steps and determining tactics for engagement, including 1:1
working, giving group presentations and delivering pitches at various levels, and
leading on their facilitation.
d) Attending networking opportunities in Cambridge, London and the surrounding
areas to represent CBM and to engage potential major donors in our work
2. Stewardship and cultivation of current and active donors:
a) Developing and implementing tailored cultivation and stewardship plans, so that
individuals are engaged in a bespoke manner, ensuring that they feel a part of CBM
and that their generosity is recognised, through regular reporting, interactions,
updates and tailored approaches.
b) Developing donor-centric applications, proposals and initial approaches (by post,
email, phone and face-to-face) that are driven by insight on donors’ individual needs
and preferences and are tailored to their interests and requirements, following up as
required.
c) Reporting to donors in both formal and informal ways, as appropriate, to ensure
they are kept up to date with CBM, the impact of their grant and project
developments.
d) Hosting and facilitating face-to-face and online meetings with high-level donors,
including organising dates, venues and agendas/ talking points, and creating
Meeting Briefs for all attendees to ensure positive outcomes as far as possible.
e) Promoting the importance of legacies, and legacy income, where appropriate, and
to steward those who have pledged.
f) Organising and managing the successful delivery of at least one Major Donor Event
annually (cultivation, stewardship, thanking etc), to ensure positive relations and
potential new business, in collaboration with our Fundraising and Programme
colleagues.
g) Supporting the Head of Philanthropy and the Philanthropy Officer on the
identification, stewardship and cultivation of potential corporate partners.
3. Proposal and Report Writing
a) Crafting compelling proposals and reports that meet the bespoke needs of major
donors whilst meeting the needs of CBM and our Programme delivery colleagues,
within agreed deadlines.
b) Working with members of the Programmes Team to ensure the accuracy of major
donor proposals / reports, and with members of the Fundraising & Communications
Team to ensure consistency of messaging.
c) Working with the Philanthropy Team to develop new projects/ themes/ appeals for
potential projects.
d) Supporting the Head of Philanthropy on collating information and providing reports
to Foundation donors as needed.
4. Planning and Budgeting
a) Contributing to the development of an Income Generation and Engagement
strategy, led by the Director of Fundraising, Impact & Communications.
b) Closely monitoring income and expenditure, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy
where necessary, and contributing to the creation of yearly fundraising budgets and
plans and quarterly Board Reports.
c) Establishing, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, milestones
and targets to facilitate informed decisions and improved working practice.
5. Other
a) Ensuring all information, donor activity is recorded and kept up-to-date on our
database to fully-inform any approaches/meetings.
b) Providing proof-reading and copy-editing support to colleagues.
c) Helping to develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of
CBM, and promoting positive working and innovation.

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in providing operational and strategic leadership in the financial management of the charity. Working to a high level of autonomy, the role will form part of the Operational Leadership Team, supporting the charity to deliver its organisational strategy. Main Duties

- Leading on the submission of timely quarterly VAT returns to HMRC, mitigating the risk of potential financial penalties for late submission.
- Leading on the process of preparing and setting budgets and financial forecasting, liaising closely with the Director of Finance and Corporate Resources and budget holders as appropriate, to ensure accurate income projections and profiles are in place aligning with the charity’s strategic priorities.
