About the Role:
As our Finance Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing loan applications and ensuring smooth financial processes. This full or part-time, flexible position allows for remote work, with very occasional meetings in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the full loan lifecycle, from initial application to repayment.
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM and lending software.
- Providing clear communication and support to clients throughout the loan process.
- Collaborating across the team and with our partners, Moneyline, to ensure a seamless client journey.
- Keeping databases up to date and ensuring all documentation is organised.
What We're Looking For:
- Significant administration experience, ideally in finance or loan administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong numeracy, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce and HES programs is a plus.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.

Role & Responsibilities
The Event Sales Manager is the main contact for all hires enquiries about our fantastic 7 studio spaces, 2 theatres and café Bar.
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, supervising the event planning process.
No one day is the same at Brixton House. The versatility of the building enable us to host a wide range of events such as Meetings, Screenings, Conferences, Music Gigs and Book Launches.
Sales
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Secure returning hire bookings
- Create and implement sales strategies
- Look at upselling opportunities across the venue including food and beverage packages
- Develop contacts with relevant cultural, commercial and social markets to increase sales opportunities – especially locally
- To answer all enquiries in a timely manner with accurate information
- Proactively source new business with the ability to strategically convert to sales
- Raise quotes, and issue contracts
- Liaise with the Finance department to raise invoices and credit notes
- Liaise with other internal departments as necessary to deliver an excellent quality of service both for the client and Brixton House
- Liaise and build relationships with the Marketing, Operations and Technical departments, encouraging collaborative work
- Develop and deliver any related marketing assets with the Marketing team (eg updating the website, sales driven photography etc)
Management and Delivery
- Conduct tours of Brixton House, taking details of client’s requirements and responding with bespoke details as required
- Lead in the advancing of Events and Hires
- Book the spaces using Brixton House booking system, YesPlan, attending planning meetings as required and finding solutions to any possible clashes in delivery
- Keep the booking platform up-to-date and raise any clashes with relevant teams
- Create Events sheets in a timely manner and distribute it to relevant teams
- Assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the department and Events and Hires
- Accommodate early get-ins and/or late nights for events and acting as onsite Event Manager during out of office hours
- Manage and resolve client’s complaints with a high standard of customer service care
Reporting
- Track enquiries to identify trends and understand Brixton House’s potential in terms of conversion rates, income opportunity and weekly conversion rates
- Schedule internal debriefs after events with relevant departments
- Complete monthly hires income reconciliation
- Report to the Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership team as required
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 2 years of extensive experience managing corporate and private events at a large, multi-space venue
- Evidence of hitting set targets and ability to adapt depending on income variances
- Successful track record of handling diverse event requirements, deliver successful outcomes and the ability to achieve set KPI’s
- understand the complexities of delivering events within a busy event and/or entertainment venue
- To have a good working knowledge of lighting, PA, rigging and staging systems
- A confident and professional communication style, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork skills while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently when required
- Proficient in IT tools such as MS Office, including Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Diplomacy and tact dealing with a broad range of clients
- Comprehensive knowledge of the cultural landscape of London

Purpose of Job: An exciting opportunity for a resourceful Team Services Manager to support the operation of our organisation; managing relationships with outsourced providers and implementing the most efficient administrative procedures. YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Humane League is seeking a tenacious, determined, and well-organized individual with deep knowledge of laying hen welfare and the drive to create progressive change for millions of animals. The Temporary Animal Welfare Specialist (known internally as the Temporary Global Technical Lead or Temporary Global Technical Manager) is part of a small, high-impact global team specializing in corporate outreach and policy. The primary focus of this position is to deliver advice on farm animal welfare science to inform animal welfare campaigns and corporate engagement efforts. This requires extensive research and close collaboration with other organizations in the Open Wing Alliance (a global coalition of animal protection groups) to prepare for meetings with food companies and strategize on advocacy tactics from a scientific perspective.
We want you because you are as comfortable reading and writing research papers as you are in the boardroom and on the farm. You have a deep understanding of how the egg industry works and are determined to use this knowledge to improve conditions for laying hens. You are excited to bring your knowledge to advocates around the world and work with them to put theory into practice.
The ideal candidate is passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and excited about working both independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic environment. While working with autonomy is an important part of this role, strong collaboration and communication skills are also paramount to your success, as is the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Animal Welfare.
This is a part-time (32 hours per week), temporary, remote position. The temporary hire will provide coverage while a permanent staff member is on maternity leave, and overlap will be provided for training and onboarding. Employment is expected to be twelve (12) months in duration, beginning on approximately February 3, 2025. The duration of employment may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. This position requires both domestic and international travel, equivalent to 3 or more week-long trips per year.
The new team member’s title will be either Temporary Global Technical Lead or Temporary Global Technical Manager, depending on their experience and qualifications. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
A Temporary Global Technical Lead is responsible for carrying out the following essential job duties, with close supervision and guidance from the Senior Director of Global Animal Welfare:

Conduct extensive research into the scientific literature and corporate data relating to animal agriculture systems and industries. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the egg industry and laying hen welfare.

Leverage scientific knowledge to inform the work of THL and Open Wing Alliance member groups that are working with major food companies to advance protections for animals within their supply chains. This includes producing animal welfare education materials, preparing and delivering presentations on the science behind proposed welfare policies, and communicating effectively with corporate executives and stakeholders in the animal agriculture industry.

Collaborate cohesively with intra- and inter-departmental team members and Open Wing Alliance member groups to coordinate on strategic initiatives.

Track industry progress, working closely with THL’s other welfare specialists and Global Research & Insights Analyst when required.

Attend conferences, events, retreats, protests, and corporate meetings as required.

A Temporary Global Technical Manager is responsible for carrying out all of the essential duties above with a high level of independence. In addition to the above, the following responsibilities are included in the Temporary Global Technical Manager role:

REQUIRED SKILLS
The essential qualifications required of a Temporary Global Technical Lead or Temporary Global Technical Manager are:

Animal Welfare Expertise: Veterinary degree or master’s degree in farm animal welfare science, or equivalent experience. On-farm experience required; this experience can be educational.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for the Temporary Global Technical Lead position is £29,963.20 - £36,621.60 GBP, and the compensation range for the Temporary Global Technical Manager position is £34,316.80 - £41,943.20 GBP.
