Who will I be changing the lives of?

All of our learners are aged between 16-25 years, have some level of additional need and as a result have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).  Some of the most common areas of need that our learners experience are Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism (ASC), ADHD although we work with learners with a much broader range of needs.

Main Responsibilities

• To be responsible for a caseload of learners with EHCP's aged 16-25 years
• To act as the main point of contact for staff and services with SEND related queries
• To arrange and carry out Annual Reviews and PEP’s as well as completion and submission of all relevant paperwork, acting as chair for these meetings when required
• To assist the Change Leader with the transition process for learners starting at Really NEET as well as those learners leaving Really NEET
• Responsible for over-seeing the progression of learners on completion of the course
• Promote Inclusion best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the college

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) you will apply for and manage grants whilst also managing the research of new funding opportunities for the team.

Role Summary

The Programme Coordinator (Scotland) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in Scotland and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online within a bespoke Scottish context/approach. This will require detailed knowledge and understanding of the education and screen industry landscape in Scotland. 

Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.

Main Responsibilities: 

• To deliver various elements of the new Into Film programme in Scotland including, but not limited to, CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels both online and face to face
• To develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
• To feed into and then deliver the plans in Scotland across the programme (including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression and Young Creatives (plus Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed) 
• To work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes, KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines
• To ensure Scotland-wide reach and to feed into UK wide work and awareness of Into Film Programmes responding where possible to local needs
• Activation and delivery of the programme across Scotland including feeding relevant regional content into email campaigns and managing the regional social media account.
• Managing local partnerships and relationships with individuals and organisations
• Utilise CRM to input and analyse data, creating dashboards and reports.
• Feeding into fundraising proposals and assessing the activity needed to achieve outcomes when planning a project.

Person Specification:

• Ability and experience in activating and delivering other funded work including, but not limited to, Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and other additionally funded work as it arises.

• Ability to work across a variety of strands within programmes.
• Ability to work with and agree work plans across departments in Into Film to ensure KPIs, targets and agreed outcomes are met.

• Experience and knowledge of project planning liaising across different departments delivering to time and both managing expectations and achieving the necessary buy-in from industry.

Home-Start Barnet (HSB) delivers personalised, early intervention programmes to families with young children, who have multiple needs and are struggling to cope with the challenges they face. International Field Officer - various locations overseas (January 2025 start date)

Location: Initial Field Officer training will be in Cambodia or Sri Lanka. First posting will be assigned across any of our global programmes.

On the Field Officer course you will receive technical training in mine clearance, basic explosive ordnance disposal and minefield survey. Once deployed to a programme, in addition to operational field work you will be involved in equipment auditing and maintenance, overseeing repair of vehicles, and writing reports and proposals.

This role is a contract role paying between £34,000-£38,000 (pro rata) depending on experience and is part time too.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will join our Engagement Team at the forefront of involving local communities in our exciting tree-planting & urban greening projects and engage people in taking action for trees and the environment.

The Community Engagement team at Trees for Cities leads activities for thousands of adults and children to participate in our Urban Forest tree planting programme that aims to plant, promote, and protect trees. This role will join other Community Engagement Coordinators and the Community Engagement Manager in working closely with the Youth and Schools Engagement, Urban Forest, and Marketing and Communications teams to deliver multiple, overlapping projects with diverse London communities.

We are looking for energetic and organised individuals to support and coordinate our community engagement activities for urban forest projects and initiatives. This involves planning, delivering, and reporting back on community consultations, educational workshops, public tree-planting events and other activities.
The role is public-facing, so we are looking for confident and adaptable communicators who are comfortable engaging residents in a range of communities, schools, and interest groups and are passionate about what we do at Trees for Cities.

This role accommodates hybrid working for days that do not involve practical on-site, office work or in person meetings. Generally, this works out to 2 WFH days per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment and Induction 

• Volunteer recruitment – Conduct advertising and recruitment to ensure that there are enough people applying to volunteer at CoSS; ensuring people seeking sanctuary are aware of the opportunities available and able to access them. 

• Inductions – Lead and further develop inductions for new volunteers ensuring that these sessions are well attended and are accessible to volunteers from all backgrounds. 

• Initial support - Support new volunteers to start volunteering at CoSS and facilitate an initial probation period during which more support is available to each volunteer. 

• Administration - Work with the CoSS Administrator to conduct required administration associated with inducting new volunteers and running the volunteer team. 

 Volunteer Training and Progression  

• Volunteer Training – Deliver a wide range of training for the volunteer team that covers key essential areas alongside other training needs that may arise. 

• Training for people seeking sanctuary – Provide additional support to people seeking sanctuary to access a wide range of training and development opportunities. 

• Volunteer Reviews - Conduct regular volunteer reviews and meetings to gather feedback and to celebrate the work of the team.

• Volunteer Wellbeing - Support the wellbeing of volunteers and provide spaces for them to share and work through the challenges faced. 

• Volunteer Socials - Organise volunteer socials throughout the year. 

• Code of Conduct - Ensure all volunteers adhere to the CoSS code of conduct and manage issues that arise using CoSS's established policies and procedures. 

The Sanctuary 

• Work alongside the rest of the CoSS team, to ensure the smooth-running of The Sanctuary, our unique welcome centre for people seeking sanctuary.

Just for Kids Law (JfKL) works with and for children and young people to hold those with power to account and fight for wider reform. They do this by providing legal representation and advice, strategic litigation, campaigning, and equipping others to work for children’s rights.

The Director of Programmes and Partnerships is responsible for ensuring The Diana Award delivers quality impactful programmes and develops strong strategic partnerships that harness young people's power and potential to change the world. The Programmes Directorate currently comprises four teams: Anti-Bullying, Mentoring, Social Action, and Impact and Influence, with a staff count of 25 plus a pool of associate trainers. In this role you will collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and implement corporate fundraising initiatives for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day account management of corporate partnerships, pursuing new business development opportunities and the coordination and promotion of the payroll giving programme.  

Additionally, you will contribute to projects within the Philanthropy and Partnership team, such as webinars, events, researching prospects and corporate foundations, and preparing charity of the year applications.
