About the role
This is a new role that follows a decision to focus our new organisational strategy for 2024-2027 on growing our external influence and that of our network of 47 community foundations across the UK.

Internal strategic communications
Key responsibilities:

We meet in person three times a year over a few days, visiting a different community foundation and region each time. Purpose of the role
As a member of the Business Support Team, the post holder will work closely with our leads and their teams to understand and support organisational and programme requirements across our diverse and exciting areas of interest.
The post holder will work closely with others to plan, anticipate and deliver high-quality support across a range of NDTi projects and work areas. They will pro-actively contribute to organisational life and maintain NDTi’s reputation for excellence with our clients and stakeholder.
Key Activities
- Liaise and work with leads with confidence, replying to external and internal queries where possible and escalating others as needed. Keep in regular contract with team members ensuring that they, alongside external stakeholders, understand the support the post holder can provide.
- Gather the necessary information to complete key contractual paperwork throughout the project lifecycle, including contract set up and the prompt receipt and processing of client contracts. Work with the Finance Manager and relevant lead to ensure that invoicing schedules and billing particulars are up to date, that client specific activity reporting is completed accurately, and NDTi’s schedule for delivery is maintained.
- Maintain a schedule of project outputs and work to ensure reports, events and other deliverables are planned and delivered on time, liaising with colleagues across other work areas where needed.
- Plan, organise and effectively project manage regular events of both online and residential including at scale.
- Use existing and emerging technologies and established practices to set up and plan events, ensuring prompt co-ordination and confirmation of arrangements with venues, participants and presenters.
- Lead the process for delegate and stakeholder sign up, liaising with leads to ensure good representation and attendance levels are achieved. Work with the lead to ensure any specific requirements, for example, allocation of places and accessibility needs are managed and met.
- With the project coordinator, work to deliver the event on time and within budget. Keep leads updated, alerting them to potential overspend or other issues, such as take up/attendance levels that could impact the success of the event, as they arise.
- Actively update website and other source information about our team, our work, our events and our resources, ensuing they are up-to-date, and are in keeping with in house and project specific branding guidelines.
- Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager and wider team to connect with partners, stakeholders and groups with an interest in NDTi’s work via online platforms.
- Organise and lead on the booking process and internal organisation of CLS Network workshops and other Network-wide meetings.
- To manage all CLS invoicing ensuring data from contracts is transferred to an invoice and ensuring invoices are logged within the database.
- Collect data in relation to attendance across the CLS sites at Network wide events and workshops and provide regular reports to Network members and CLS team members as required.
- Attend large gatherings in person, lead the setting up and liaison with the venue and provide the welcome and any support to participants to ensure they get the most out of the experience.

Bgen Coordinator

You will help us to develop and pilot services for young people transitioning from our Young People and families service to adult services.
You will help us to ensure our services reach diverse communities in the North West, by co-producing resources and testing ways of working.
You will co-ordinate all aspects of the Versus Arthritis service, including recruiting volunteers, course promotion and building relationships in the community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Coordination and Project Delivery
- To work closely with the Director of Strategy and Programmes to coordinate and support the delivery of all our programmes to achieve the outputs and outcomes agreed with our funders.
- To support with event management both online and face to face including providing technical support to participants on platforms for online training, including driving all courses hosted on Zoom, and providing excellent customer service to all engaging with our work.
- To support evaluations through providing and analysing data to use in reporting to funders and stakeholders.
- To lead on programme administration and funder updates, including tracking key data on platforms including Arts Council Annual Survey, Julie’s Bicycle, Illuminate and Salesforce.
- To support with the administration of programme activity by attending and writing minutes for key meetings, drawing up programme contracts, aiding with diary management, filing, liaising with key personnel, and conducting phone or zoom conversations as needed.
- To support with the financial administration of our programmes through invoicing and managing participant expenses.

Founded in 2012 we are a UK charity that provide support, advice and information to patients and their loved ones who are affected by cancers of the head, mouth, neck, chest, and those throat cancers caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). We also campaign for universal HPV vaccination to prevent any future devastating throat cancer cases. The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO, the management team, and Trustees to implement, develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that meets the charity’s challenging income targets. This post will play a vital role in helping us to deliver our range of throat cancer support programmes to patients, families, as well as to medical professionals and the scientific research sectors. This is a unique and challenging role, which will see the successful applicant working on a variety of projects at any one time, whilst working under pressure to deliver results. It is therefore important that anyone in that role has great communication skills as well as experience of managing fundraising events on a nationwide scale.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fundraising duties as required.
- Be the customer service face for all fundraisers and fundraising activities.
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of TCF’s community fundraising activities and third-party events.
- Work with the Business Development Manager and CEO to develop key messages, briefings, and positioning statements to ensure consistency and maximise the impact of our work
- Create, manage, and deliver robust project plans for allocated events delivering on set income targets.
- Review and adapt current events in the portfolio to maximise supporter engagement, retention and income growth.
- Booking and liaising with all suppliers involved with events and building and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Working across the charity and externally, to significantly grow both volunteer numbers and activity.
- Develop the way we speak about volunteering, our brand, and associated materials, in order to attract more volunteers with the skills we need.

You have demonstratable experience as a corporate and community fundraiser with excellent knowledge of the charity sector. The Role
The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.
