Events Co Ordinator Jobs
We are looking for an Event Co-ordinator to co-ordinate the delivery of our sporting programme and to work with the wider team to create consistency in the delivery, safety and reporting of this programme.
Key Accountabilities
Event Management
• Lead on the organisation and delivery of the sports event programme at a Regional and National level
• Ensure that all insurance, legal and health and safety obligations are followed for all events
• Manage and coordinate event bookings with key suppliers such as venues and hotels where needed
• Provide support to event volunteers during planning, delivery, and on-the day
• Oversee the advertisement of the events including promotion and on-the day brand awareness
• Work with the Events Management System to monitor and manage all events
Volunteer Management:
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Regional Organisers for your designated sports
• Liaise with the Volunteer Delivery Team to recruit for any vacant Regional Organiser roles
• Provide help and support to volunteers to understand the key elements of the legal requirements of the events process and the functionality around the advertising and booking systems
Programme and Project Involvement:
• Liaise with the Strategic Development Team to contribute and help deliver the Sports Strategy.
• Participate and contribute to the National Events projects where needed
Participate and engage with all projects and programmes where it is identified that the Events Team is needed or can contribute and make a difference.

Skills (Essential)
- Minimum of 1-year relevant event management experience either in the work place or attained through a relevant qualification.
- Intermediate to advanced level of MS word and Excel
- Ability to communicate both through written and verbal
Skills (Desirable)

A relevant degree or professional qualification in event management is not essential but may be advantageous.

Your role
The business development team aims to expand Contact’s reach to parent carers and practitioners by exploring opportunities for new projects, partnerships, commissions and paid for content including webinars, workshops and training. We also work with forums to offer support on areas not covered by their grant. We expand our reach and support offer alongside of funded programmes. We aim to increase organisational sustainability by generating income and contributing to core organisational costs.
The Business Development Co-ordinator reports to the Business Development Operations Manager and is the linchpin for our business development programmes. You will be responsible for setting up events online and face to face, contacting trainers, taking bookings and supporting with promotion; making sure the support and content made available to families is kept up to date. The role also involves updating our CRM database, making sure invoices are raised and paid and collating information for reports from the database or Excel.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who has excellent IT and digital skills, ideally with experience of online event systems such as Eventbrite and Zoom, a good knowledge of Excel and experience using a CRM database. You’ll need to be highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a friendly, confident phone manner and a good knowledge of the issues and concerns families with disabled children face.

The role
Cruse Bereavement Support is the UK’s leading Bereavement charity. We help people through one of the most painful times of their lives through bereavement support, information and campaigning.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Delivery Co-ordinator to join our Somewhere For Us Project team. The aim of the Somewhere For Us project is to ensure that children and young people feel supported on their grief journey. The project service is co-designed with a Youth Advisory Group. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of bereavement supports to children, young people and communities across the Western and Northern Trust Areas and wider NI if required. The support is provided through Understanding Your Child’s Bereavement online session for parents, group support, 1-1 support and Understanding Your Bereavement online sessions for children and young people. Awareness sessions are provided to organisations and individuals working with children and young people within the community, for example sports clubs, community groups, schools, churches.
The Somewhere For Us Project supports bereaved children and young people aged 8 – 25. It is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund through their Empowering Young People funding stream.
The post is based in our Foyle office, with one day a week in Belfast. The post is funded until the end of June 2027.
