Background
We're hiring a new Fundraising Officer to work within the Fundraising team. You will be the first point of call for all enquiries and donations from our Friends and supporters. You'll work to establish and maintain effective engagement with them, ensuring that they feel valued and appreciated. Working with the Fundraising Manager, you will process and bank payments and thank all donors.
You will also assist with our events programme, legacy administration and fundraising communications, including some graphic design.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is interested in learning and developing experience in different aspects of fundraising. We’re looking for a confident, skilled and personable Digital Project Manager to help us deliver our ambitious roadmap of digital projects.
You’ll lead on the production of digital, creative, UX, campaign and content-based projects. This’ll include everything from leading on the digital and content element of major campaigns and appeals, through to developing new digital and content-based tools to help people live well with MS.
Working within our combined digital and content team, you’ll thrive working with cross-organisational teams to deliver projects on time, to scope and within budget.

What will you be doing?

The Role:
As our Supporter Engagement Manager, you will work to ensure that SPANA provides its supporters and external stakeholders with the best-possible experience of the charity. While line-managing the Supporter Engagement team, your work will range from ensuring SPANA donations and post are compliantly processed, to
co-ordinating responses to enquiries, comments and complaints via post, phone and online. You will also manage the development and delivery of SPANA’s community fundraising programme.

Supporter Engagement

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Deliver engaging training to local and community stakeholders on renewable energy, heat and (potentially) storage technologies.

What you’ll get to do:
This role combines soliciting new prospect donors, donor management, partnership development, and data-driven campaign execution. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship building, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement, with a demonstrable passion for Travalyst’s mission of promoting sustainable travel and tourism.
Donor Management (~40%)
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of individual donors, corporate and institutional foundations to secure philanthropic and private funding and advance Travalyst’s mission.
- Identify, solicit, and nurture new donor prospects, ensuring continuous growth of the donor base.
- Strategise with senior leadership to retain and upgrade current donors, including personalised engagement for high-value supporters.
