We have three exciting opportunities for an Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) to join the team, with one permanent role and two positions to cover maternity leave. As an ISVA you will deliver 1-2-1 support to clients in the community across Lancashire and at criminal justice locations. These roles are all full-time working shirts between 9am and 6:30pm with at lease two 6:30pm finishes per week. About the role:
This role offers help and support directly to victims and survivors of sexual violence, working to the national ISVA framework to provide support throughout victims criminal justice journey, or if they haven't reported the incident to the police, on their own recovery journey.
The role involves regular travel across Lancashire, and supporting victims and survivors directly at criminal justice hearings: a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The successful post holder will ensure victims and survivors receive ongoing continuity of support, advocacy and impartial advice and information including reporting to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pre-trial therapy and sexual violence counselling.

Together We Learn is a small international development charity with a vision to break the cycle of poverty in Ethiopia by enabling disadvantaged children to access quality education.
We have been working closely with our Ethiopian partner organisation for over 25 years to achieve this. Our UK team is a small, close- knit team that supports the fundraising, international communications, and project delivery of the Ethiopian team.
Our approach is to work alongside state education infrastructure, addressing a range of needs related to access to and quality of education, as well as children’s wellbeing.
Our work with schools includes school infrastructure projects - providing safe, local schools - and supporting teachers with training and resources to inspire children to flourish in the classroom. We also work closely with the children, their families and communities to understand and address the issues they face at home and how these impact their ability to attend and concentrate in school.
We are at the start of a new strategic phase with a focus on building the capacity of our Ethiopian partner organisation to shift the power and be more locally-led in our work.

Sponsorship Coordinator
The Role: The Sponsorship Coordinator works closely with the Ethiopian team to facilitate sponsor communications and support the smooth delivery of our student sponsorship programme. They are responsible for reviewing and sending student updates collected by the team in Ethiopia to our international sponsor community; liaising with the Ethiopian team to deliver key sponsorship activities; and engaging new and existing sponsors in the sponsorship programme.
Reports to: Chief Executive
Hours: 15 hours per week (part-time role 40%)
Salary: £8,620 per annum (21,548 pro rata)

Responsibilities
Ethiopia team liaison and sponsor communication (70%)
- Work closely with the Sponsorship Manager and Coordinators in Ethiopia to ensure the timely and effective delivery of sponsorship activities and reporting.
- Maintain good relationships with sponsors by responding to sponsor enquiries in a prompt and friendly manner and encourage continued support for the sponsorship programme through the provision of engaging, informative and culturally aware/sensitive student updates and newsletters.
- Manage a small pool of student volunteers to produce quality reports for sponsors.
- Facilitate additional monetary gifts from sponsors to their sponsored student including individual gifts, private school support and home improvement.
- Monitor sponsorship finances, including use of Salesforce, checking sponsorship payments are received and seeking to resolve any finance problems.
- Safeguard the data relating to sponsors and beneficiaries in line with the organisation’s policies.
- Assist in the promotion of the programme to recruit new sponsors and promote the sponsorship programme on occasion, through online initiatives or attending events.
Monitoring and evaluation (20%)
- Support monitoring and evaluation of the programme by ensuring the timely collection of data by the team in Ethiopia, collating, analysing and formatting data for review, leading discussions on impact review and supporting discussions for continuous programme development. Including managing office volunteers to support our work in these areas.
- Support the Ethiopian team to track and understand markers of good quality, sustainable programming and to continuously improve upon these.
Other (10%)
- Support with building the capacity of the Ethiopian team through working practices and training in relevant areas.
- Support the Ethiopia sponsorship team to develop, include and adhere to programme policies and procedures, with special attention to safeguarding.
- Communicate about our work with stakeholders via writing blogs, newsletter and Annual Report chapters.

About the role:
This role is based at Lancaster Police Station. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As an IDVA working on Operation Provide you will:
- Work with the Police safeguarding team to identify high risk victims of domestic abuse.
- Check internal systems to check if victims are known or open to internal services and liaise with same.
- Conduct joint visits with the police to victims who are at serious risk of harm to provide independent information about their rights and options to enable them to keep safe from harm.
- Assess their needs and develop a bespoke safety and support plan
- Provide information and advocacy around the criminal justice process
- Liaise with internal and external agencies in order to keep the victim safe from harm and address their needs.
You will need:
- IDVA accreditation and/or have considerable relevant experience in supporting victims of domestic abuse
- a comprehensive understanding of domestic abuse & the impact on victims & families
- knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- an understanding of Safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
- theoretical, practical & procedural knowledge of civil & criminal justice remedies

Purpose of The role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Community Outreach Coordinator to join our growing, dynamic team. This role will support the development of a community hub attached to our charity retail “ReStore” in Romford—the first of its kind in the UK. Globally, over 1,000 ReStores operate with the mission of upcycling unwanted home materials to support low-income households and promote a circular economy.
Beyond being a retail space, our ReStore aims to become a community hub offering additional targeted activities and services to those most vulnerable to housing insecurity. Our pilot programme will focus on supporting women recovering from domestic abuse or trafficking. These women will access free essential goods from the store, and benefit from workshops and courses such as upholstery, upcycling, art therapy, employability, confidence-building, and practical life skills.
Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to design and maintain all community outreach activities. The Community Outreach Coordinator will represent Habitat GB, working with the leadership team to develop and implement initiatives that increase the community hub’s visibility and impact.

Together We Learn is a small international development charity with a vision to break the cycle of poverty in Ethiopia by enabling disadvantaged children to access quality education.
We have been working closely with our Ethiopian partner organisation for over 25 years to achieve this. Our UK team is a small, close- knit team that supports the fundraising, international communications, and project delivery of the Ethiopian team.
Our approach is to work alongside state education infrastructure, addressing a range of needs related to access to and quality of education, as well as children’s wellbeing.
Our work with schools includes school infrastructure projects - providing safe, local schools - and supporting teachers with training and resources to inspire children to flourish in the classroom. We also work closely with the children, their families and communities to understand and address the issues they face at home and how these impact their ability to attend and concentrate in school.

Project Coordinator
The Role: The Project Coordinator supports our Ethiopian Projects team deliver, monitor, evaluate and report on our various project activities. The role involves regular communication with both our regional project teams and management, supporting the team to meet project deadlines, driving continual programme improvement through monitoring, evaluation and learning, and supporting the UK Chief Executive with project reporting and funding proposals.
