You'll sit within our Philanthropy team, working on charitable trusts and foundations who generally give up to £30,000, working with a portfolio of approximately 75 active trusts and foundations. You'll research, identify and drive forward new income opportunities, maintaining relationship with existing donors and ensure our supporters have an excellent experience.

You'll deliver high quality, written application and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You'll match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach.

How would you contribute to Cycle Sisters’ mission? 

Cycle Sisters has grown hugely over the past few years, with an expanded range of programmes and activity. We are keen to continue this journey of growth and have just finalised a new strategy for 2024-2027 which prioritises reaching more women and girls, and ensuring our financial sustainability.

The Fundraising Lead will play a critical role in supporting our ‘sustainability' strategic priority to ensure Cycle Sisters can access the resources it needs to keep making a difference.   This post-holder will lead on growing Cycle Sisters’ unrestricted income, with a focus on community fundraising and corporate partnerships.

The post-holder will need to be an excellent networker, confident in representing the organisation externally and able to motivate a range of stakeholders to financially support Cycle Sisters’ work.

What would you be doing?

Below is a list of responsibilities which provide a broad outline of the role.   This is not an exhaustive list as Cycle Sisters is a small team which requires flexibility.

This is a new part-time role and we will work with the successful candidate to develop a workplan which is realistic within the hours available.   There will also be support from other team members on some of the areas of work.

General responsibilities 

• Develop strategies to achieve income targets across the areas outlined below 

• Ensure all fundraising initiatives are properly planned, delivered, monitored and evaluated.   All activities should be conducted in adherence to best practice, Cycle Sisters’ ethical policy and charity law. 

• Represent the organisation externally including networking, delivering presentations and speaking at events 

• Work with the Communications & Media Lead to create compelling fundraising messages and materials for a range of audiences 

• Work collaboratively with other team members in Cycle Sisters to maximise all opportunities for fundraising 

Individual Giving and Community Fundraising 

• Oversee event/challenge fundraising, liaising closely with volunteer fundraisers to maximise income and ensure fundraisers feel valued and appreciated 

• Work with the Communications & Media Lead to ensure donors feel valued and appreciated 

• Develop and implement a regular giving strategy, helping us to progress donors from one-off to regular giving

• Work with the CEO to develop a “membership” scheme to generate regular income from Cycle Sisters’ participant network with incentives and benefits for members 

• Work with an external agency to secure income through digital fundraising 

Corporate Fundraising 

Working closely with the CEO: 

• Develop relationships with existing corporate partners, ensuring partners feel valued and are receiving regular updates

• Research and identify new corporate fundraising prospects.  Develop relationships through networking and representing Cycle Sisters externally.

• Create tailored packages to secure in-kind and financial support from corporate partners 

• Develop ideas for earned income services for corporate partners e.g. led rides

• To deliver your fundraising target through the oversight and significant growth of your caseload of supporters. • Develop the customer experience for your caseload to world class standard. Review and enhance existing processes, engagement tools and materials to ensure they are contributing towards strong and sustained relationships with supporters. Ensure gifts and donor relationship information is accurately recorded, processed, thanked and reported on in a timely and confidential fashion using Raisers Edge and developing a strong relationship with the Giving Team and other internal stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively and accurately with other entity Fundraising Teams. Support and collaborate with wider fundraising opportunities and to attend all relevant fundraising team meetings to have a rounded understanding of what we are trying to achieve in our fundraising across the group.

The Right Candidate

• A 3 year track record of demonstrable growth in income against targets.

The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. 1. Core New Business activity: Researching and development of prospect lists for priority industries to implement New Business campaigns capable of securing multi-year high value partnerships. Your role

We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.

We seek someone who aligns with the DfG mission, has a passion for fundraising and can strategise and deliver new initiatives. · Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all grants meet donor regulations, reporting requirements, and deadlines. Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and financial impact.

· Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the success of fundraising efforts, monitor progress toward revenue goals, and use data analysis to identify trends and inform strategy, providing regular updates and insights.

· Events, Networking, and Representation: Organize fundraising events and oversee volunteer and partner teams. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and boost resource mobilization.

As the leading specialist mental health charity for women who have experienced domestic abuse, Woman’s Trust’s mission is to help survivors to overcome the devastating mental health impact of domestic abuse.

This is a pivotal time to join our growing Fundraising team as we work towards our strategy. As our Statutory Fundraising & Partnerships Manager, you will manage existing and develop new commissioner and partner relationships across local and central government, voluntary sector partnerships and other funding bodies, to ensure we can meet the needs of the increasing number of women we support across London and build on our systems influencing work nationally.

The charity, established almost thirty years ago to meet the gap in specialist mental health services, is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative Fundraising Officer to build on the development and growth of income through local communities across Surrey. Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey is a county-wide charity supporting people of all ages who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind. Job Purpose:

General Statement of Duties

The St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital has a loyal donor base, and we are now able to grow the major donor portfolio significantly to build our long-term sustainable income.  The Grants & Partnerships Officer will lead on delivering a best-practice grant-giving programme as part of a wider major donor programme.

Alongside the Executive Head of the UK Office, the Grants & Partnerships Officer will develop new major donors prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies as part of a wider fundraising strategy.

This is a key role within a small and dedicated team.  The successful candidate will have a professional, ambitious, solutions-based approach with a track record of fundraising success. They will be ready for and excited by the challenge of building up a major donor programme.

Main Responsibilities

To deliver a successful grant-giving programme and devise and deliver new prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to meet agreed targets, including:

· Establishing and managing strong relationships with past, current and prospective grant-giving organisations, delivering the highest possible levels of care and attention.

· Understanding all prospective and current donor profiles, and their motivations and communication styles.  Formulating personalised cultivation and stewardship plans.

Essential:

· Educated to degree level or equivalent career experience.

The TSA is seeking a highly experienced, confident and capable Head of Fundraising to provide leadership and direction on all aspects of income generation. The charity has gone from strength to strength over the last 24 months, including income generation, and we are looking for an experienced fundraising professional to continue this amazing work.  

Working closely with the TSA’s Joint Chief Executives, you’ll join the Senior Management Team and will be expected to successfully implement our new three-year fundraising strategy, which aims to diversify and raise income in a sensible yet ambitious way.

Strategic, leadership and management
