The Community Fundraising and Communications Coordinator will

• Lead on LASSN's Community Fundraising – responsible for developing and delivering a community fundraising strategy that maximises the amount of funds generated by volunteers and supporters, local community groups and individuals.
• Lead on the implementation (and review) of LASSN's communications strategy - ensuring that LASSN's staff, volunteers and experts by lived experience, are central to the production and promotion of LASSN's key messages; the work and impact of LASSN are shared effectively with key audiences; communications support and enhance LASSN's fundraising efforts.

The person we appoint will

• Share LASSN's commitment to ensuring asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants at risk of harm are safe, respected, supported and empowered to rebuild their lives free of persecution;
• Have a successful track record of identifying and supporting individuals, groups and institutions to raise funds for values-led organisations or charities like LASSN.
• Be an excellent communicator, in person, online, and in print, and be committed to building the confidence and capabilities of everyone at LASSN.
• Understand the strengths and potential of different communication platforms (e.g., print, social media, film) and be able to use these to convey the values and impact of LASSN's work.
• Enjoy working flexibly in a small, friendly team – and alongside 300 motivated and talented volunteers and supporters from a wide variety of backgrounds.
• Be a confident self-starter, able to design, plan and deliver campaigns – and to enthuse and engage other people.

About the role:

The Specialist Housing Advocate will work within a dynamic, fast paced team to provide intervention, advocacy and support that empowers women and ensures that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. This is a new and exciting service, and we are looking for someone passionate about ensuring that all survivors of domestic abuse are able to access safe and appropriate accommodation which meets their needs.

To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

Can you help us to support new dads and dads-to-be?

We are recruiting a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families across Barnet, Brent and Harrow. They will work alongside our team of Coordinators, local Family Hubs and a range of services including Maternity, Health Visiting and Children's Services. 

The Dad Matters Coordinator will deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions aimed at fathers in the First 1001 Days. They will support dads and other male carers with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to service. They also work with professionals and perinatal services to ensure dads and male carers are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways. Addtionally, they will help develop and run sessions with dads and will  be at the forefront of growing our Dad Matters volunteering opportunities.

This is a new post, and we are looking for someone who can build on our existing relationships and make a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of new dads and dads-to-be. 

The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training, and regular days in the office which is in Finchley, Barnet.

About the role: 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Grants Officer to join our dynamic organisation. During this maternity cover, Grants Officer will report directly to the Director of Grants, Contracts and Compliance. They will work across all of Internews’ geographies to provide the highest standard of grant management support to partners receiving higher value grants from us. The incumbent will have a unique opportunity to learn about Internews’ work and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of our missions across the World.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grant Management and Compliance

· Provide grant management support to Programme Management Units, country offices and partners. Participate in regional portfolio reviews.

· Support start‐ups of partner projects by coordinating project stakeholders and ensuring that all relevant processes and procedures are in place.

· Develop guidance documents and procedures to enable effective and compliant operation of partner projects. Supports project teams in adapting Internews’ standard sub-granting policies, procedures and toolkits to country contexts.

· Review and sign off on alldue‐diligence assessments in preparation for sub‐granting to partners.

· When requested, support project teams and the Business Officers, in monthly spend and burn rate reviews and donor report submissions

· Monitor the compliance from HQ to satisfy organisational and donorrequirements.

· Monitor the implementation of partner projects to ensure the implementation process is in line with grant agreements; and proposes solutions to implementation issues. Quality‐assure partner reporting, and track co-financing liabilities.

· Provide end-to-end management of partnership agreements, including drafting.

· Participate in project close-outs. Contribute to audit; support the audit manager on queries about sub-grants.

· Maintain records on the organisational grant management system.

Partnerships and Development

· Design and implement grant management and compliance trainings for partners and Internews staff.

· Identify and document best grant management practices from individual grants, works with M&E colleagues to coordinate debriefings with stakeholders.

· Advise development colleagues on key considerations relating to donor and statutory compliance requirements as related to sub-grants.

· Contribute to the development of partner budget proposals to ensure their appropriateness and compliance.

· Transfer grant-management expertise to country offices

· Support country office leadership teams to identify requirements and recruit grant management staff;

· Deliver trainings for key grant management staff in country offices and PMUs.

Expert advice

· Manage and develop the grants expertise at GC&C team ensuring the highest standards of grant management support to PMUs, country offices and regional and multi-country portfolios as required.

· Provide ongoing feedback to the Director of GC&C on required improvement and updates on donor regulations and contractual obligations to ensure organisational knowledge is built and improved continuously, with particular focus on the consistence and continuous improvement of sub-granting processes.

· Ensure good knowledge management across grants, including key project documentation, to enable all teams supporting the grant to access information and provide a fully auditable trail.

· Contribute to annual work planning and budgeting process.

Essential Skills and experience:

· Demonstrated experience in the context of international non-for-profit.

· Strong experience in the development and implementation of grant management processes and procedures.

· Deep understanding of rules of major European donors, including the European Commission, SIDA, and FCDO.

· Proven track record in conducting due diligence on organisations and their policies, ensuring compliance and alignment with standards.

· Proven track record in grant management training and mentorship for grantees.

· Comprehensive understanding of the setup, governance, and business models of non-for-profit organisations and media

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling clear and effective interaction with stakeholders.

· Proficiency in interpreting budgets and accounts, facilitating informed decision-making.

· High IT literacy, including proficiency in grant management systems (preferably U4B), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously.

· Effective organisational skills, including prioritisation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks and adherence to deadlines.

2. Work alongside the Communications team to assist in drafting content and key messages for social media, websites and PR, all of which should adhere to CCT brand guidelines. Handle incoming commercial marketing enquiries as appropriate.

3. Liaise with prospective filming enquiries and work with the local teams to help deliver commercial filming contracts.

4. Build positive working relationships, with internal and external stakeholders, to build on existing opportunities, promote and drive engagement with commercial opportunities.

5. Conduct marketing and audience research, to help support and deliver future revenue growth and gather data to report against KPIs and targets.

6. Support in the delivery and wider administration of commercial operations, working with the Enterprise team and freelancers on the ground. The overarching goal will be to grow CCT's commercial revenues.

About the role

We are seeking an IT Tech Support Team Lead to support ARTICLE 19 during its migration to the MS365 platform and applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing A19’s technical support operations, including deploying, optimising and supporting applications and users across the organisation. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing user accounts within Azure AD (Microsoft Azure Identity) and maintaining A19’s Microsoft 365 ecosystem. • Lead the IT Support Team in providing exceptional technical assistance across Windows and Mac platforms.

• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.

The organisation is founded and led by artist and curator Mohammed Ali MBE, who has built a strong team over the past two decades. We create events and programmes that explore commonalities and shared narratives of people across all faiths and those of differing perspectives. We seek to build hope, pride and confidence within communities enabling them to celebrate themselves and their narratives. We like to help tell the stories of everyday people in extraordinary form.

We are currently a small team of three employees and 3 more regular freelancers with ambitions to grow! 

We are now looking for our next hire - an experienced Senior Producer - to help us support our ambitious plans.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The  Senior Producer will support SCA’s Artistic Director in the effective delivery of all SCA activity, from planning to delivery review, whilst providing effective event support. You will supervise and manage a small team.

As Senior Producer you will work collaboratively with creative organisations and practitioners; be skilled at building relationships with speed and credibility with people at all levels, cultivating strong relationships with UK, international partners and venues alongside developing new partnerships. You will also support the Artistic Director to oversee and manage events and projects.

You will be a creative, collaborative and ideas driven individual, confident in managing people and multiple priorities, with extensive experience of producing complex productions with a range of partners.

What you will be responsible for:

• Identify artistic opportunities that further SCA artistic ambitions, nationally, internationally and digitally by developing partnerships and prospecting leads 

• Work with the wider SCA freelance team (production manager, tech etc) to deliver diverse commissions, programme strands and ideas across multiple interdisciplinary artforms. 

• In collaboration with the Artistic Director establish new relationships with potential partners and companies, programmers and producers, nationally and internationally. 

• Identify the best way to develop each project, and be the first point of contact for events and projects that are taking place locally

• Ensure artists SCA is working with are supported, communicated with, and managed to ensure the best possible experience.

• Manage event/project budgets liaising with the Executive Director providing regular and accurate updates. 

• Manage and champion representation, accessibility and inclusion across the Producing Process including setting frameworks for accountability and monitoring. 

• Ensure effective internal production communication between the SCA team, artists, production partners and staff 

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget 

• Work with the SCA team to collect data for Arts Council England and other funders as 

• Lead on projects that include community engagement and meet with the local community champions and figures to profile build and develop relationships, including schools and our work within schools 

• Represent the company at cultural, city council and Arts Council meetings as required locally and nationally

• Work with partner venues to ensure all spaces for projects, including workshops, rehearsals and technical support are booked 

• Work with the Production manager for site specific delivery to ensure the technical and production requirements for the artists are met. 

• Liaise with the artists to understand who is attending, what their production and technical requirements are and liaise with venues and SCA staff with regards to implementing this. 

• Liaise and work with the operations manager with regards to contracting of artists, freelance staff and access to Port Hope. 

• Advance planning of production schedules in conjunction with the Operations Manger and Studio Assistant to ensure that events can be set up in good time.

ABOUT YOU:

• Demonstrated achievement of results in proactive partnership, stakeholder and business development

• Previous responsibility for contracting and financial oversight

• Experience of financial monitoring

• Experience of managing projects and large-scale events 

• Working knowledge and understanding of operational delivery linked to projects and programmes, including the development of systems, policies and procedures and ensuring compliance

• Experience of monitoring, evaluation and reporting, including to funders and Trustees, and specifically liaising with, and reporting to Arts Council England

• Excellent organisation and leadership skills, with the ability to balance and prioritise a diverse workload, 

• Be competent across IT and software, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Willingness to learn other software programmes and digital tools quickly as needed (Arts Council England interfaces)

Summary:

The HALO Trust are looking for an experienced and driven Philanthropy and Grants Manager to lead and develop high value relationships with philanthropic donors, with a focus on Trust and Foundations (and potentially corporates). 

The Global Philanthropy Team works to secure support for the delivery of vital projects to save lives and protect livelihoods in conflict affected countries around the world, as well as build organisational resilience and support innovative areas of work.  HALO’s philanthropic income has grown significantly in recent years, driven by introductions from our network of trustees, ambassadors and advocates and our focus on strategic and transformational partnerships. We are a small team of highly skilled, experienced and driven fundraisers with a collaborative team culture. The team is supported by a Philanthropy Operations Manager, Philanthropy Assistant and Global Philanthropy Research and Insight Lead (who leads on research and due diligence). In 2024 a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships for the Middle East will join our team to lead relationship development in this key market. 

You will join a fast-paced, fluid and entrepreneurial context, responding to opportunities while laying the critical foundations for strategic growth. 

While the role is likely to focus on Trusts and Foundations (and potentially corporates) due to our networked approach and the strategic and interconnected nature of our partnerships, supported by networks of advocates, we do not overly separate relationships between Trusts/Foundations, corporates and HNWIs.  This provides team members with varied opportunities in terms of the relationships they lead and the high-level stakeholders they work with. Russia’s invasion has resulted in mine laying and explosive contamination on a scale not seen in Europe since the Second World War, including across vast tracts of farmland. This prevents agricultural production, which is critical to Ukraine’s economy and global food security. Across seven regions, more than 1,000 local Ukrainian staff have already enabled the removal of more than 19,000 explosive items and the clearance of more 3.1 million m2 of land- bringing safety to communities and supporting Ukraine’s economic recovery.

True peace cannot come until land is safe. HALO’s work to clear the deadly debris of war is the first step towards recovery and reconstruction. And the return of hope.

About the role:

The HALO Trust has more than doubled in size over the last eight years by growing support from both Governments and philanthropic donors.  Global income from philanthropic donors (including the US) has significantly increased over the past five years – from circa £4 million to £15 million in 2022/23 and reaching a further peak of £44 million in 2023/24 in response to exceptional donor support for Ukraine. Unpinning this is growth in six and seven figure partnerships with major donors, corporates and foundations, initiated by our exceptionally well-connected network of trustees and ambassadors - and nurtured by our committed and professional global philanthropy team.

The team has a global remit and this, together with HALO’s extensive geographic footprint, creates significant opportunities for growth in our portfolio of partnerships.

By nurturing and growing high value partnerships this role plays a key role in supporting the delivery of HALO’s life-saving work around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead growth within a portfolio of high value (six and potentially seven figure) relationships by providing excellence in supporter stewardship and through the development and delivery of relationship strategies, in collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy and Head of Global Grant Partnerships
• Support senior HALO staff, advocates and trustees to engage and inspire individuals linked to agreed relationships

Essential Requirements:

• Three years' experience of personally leading successful relationships with high value philanthropic donors (Trust and Foundations, corporates or high net worth individuals or equivalent), including those giving at the six or seven figure level
• Experience of building effective relationships with advocates linked to philanthropic donors
• An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with staff and colleagues in different cultural environments
• Outstanding written skills with the ability to work with programme and finance colleagues to design robust project proposals, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation
• Confident in working with financial information including project budgets
• Excellent written and verbal skills with strong attention to detail

About you and the role

The purpose of this role is to manage operational delivery of our School Chef Educator programme, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.  The School Chef Educator programme is a 10 week training programme for school kitchen staff, covering topics such as Reducing Food Waste, and Food Education. It is delivered in a blended learning format, through a mix of in-person training, bitesize webinars, and our online learning website.

You will be supported by our Director of Transformations, and manage our Chef Trainers who deliver our School Chef Educator Programme. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Impact, our School Engagement Manager and our Research Supervisor, to identify and liaise with suitable funding partners, academies and schools, and ensure we are monitoring and evaluating our programme delivery to evidence it’s impact and ensure quality delivery across the cohorts that take part.

Your role will oversee our School Chef Educator Programmes, delivered across England. This role will be primarily focused in London, but will include supporting schools in locations across the UK as we develop new hubs. An average week in this role might see you attending meetings with new partners to secure support for new programmes, sourcing venues for training days, scheduling programme delivery dates, identifying and contacting schools in our programme delivery areas to sign up their kitchen teams to our programme, developing new content on our learning management system, attending webinars our Chef Trainers are delivering, and supporting Chef Trainers with our in-person kick off sessions, and graduation celebrations.

Key responsibilities:

● To work with the Director of Transformations to ensure that all programme delivery is delivered in line with our vision, values and ethos.

● To support and manage our Chef Trainers to ensure a high quality and consistent standard of programme delivery.

● Coordinate and oversee all programme activities, including booking venues, scheduling, logistics, and managing Chef Trainer workload.

● Work closely with the Director of Transformations, Director of Impact and Partnerships and the School Engagement Manager to assess, cost and propose suitable programmes of support for schools, multi-academy trusts and caterers interested in our School Chef Educator Programme.

● Working with the School Engagement Manager, attend and contribute to meetings with Senior Leadership of prospective participating schools and academies.

● Liaise and manage relationships with Senior Leadership and Programme Sponsors, being the key contact for operational delivery of programmes.

● To work alongside the Director of Transformations and Director of Partnerships & Impact to ensure that service level agreements are agreed with partners and that our delivery matches the agreements.

● To monitor costs of the programme delivery, reporting progress of programmes to the Director of Transformations, identifying any risks or delays to programme delivery.

● At all times to ensure that our training programmes are being delivered in a legally compliant, cost-effective way.

● Working with the School Engagement Manager, to identify suitable schools for our funded training programmes, ensuring a high uptake of available places on our funded training programmes.

● Ensuring learning and evaluation is embedded in our programme delivery, working with the Chef Trainers to document best practice learnt from each programme.

● To work alongside the Director of Partnerships & Impact and our Research Supervisor to ensure that we’re collecting accurate and relevant data to measure our impact, evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the programmes, conducting regular assessments and measurements.

● Work with the Research Supervisor to support preparing reports on the impact of the School Chef Educator programmes, including statistical data, trends, and success stories.

● Maintain accurate data records and ensure our contacts database is up to date with relevant participant, partner and engagement information.

● Collaborate with the Chef Trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of participants on our programmes.

● Overseeing project planning and execution for the continued expansion of the roll-out of the School Chef Educator training programme - this will involve being organised and keeping the project on track, working with internal and external parties.

● Assist in the delivery of programmes where necessary, providing support and guidance to the Chef Trainers as needed.

● Working with the Chief Innovation Officer, the Chef Trainers across all our programmes and the wider Chefs in Schools network to identify current and future skills requirements for the school kitchen workforce.

● Developing and/or commission relevant training materials to keep our programme up to date and develop new programmes that complement our organisational strategy.

● Plan, and manage the continued iterative development of our School Chef Training programme. Lead on programme design, monitoring performance and adjusting our approach as necessary for future cohorts.

● Line manage the Chef Trainers, lead on hiring, training and managing any future staff required as our programme offering grows.

● Maintain and manage our Learning Management System, and Learning App, ensuring good version control, user management, and digital legal compliance.

Are you an enthusiastic and organised programme manager, with experience of working closely with research institutions and/or on learning projects? The primary focus of the role is the day-to-day management of various donor contracts which have a learning and research focus. These contracts currently include both governmental and private foundation contracts. The Programme Manager will oversee the delivery of programmes, coordinating budgets, workplans, consultant management, and administration.

The Programme Manager will be assisted in this by a Project Officer, and will work closely with the Operations Manager, to whom they will report (currently based in the UK). The Programme Manager will work closely with teams of consultants based globally, research institutions also based globally, and also liaise with the Gender and Social Development Head of Practice (currently based in the UK).

This is a new role, as we are looking to appoint our first Fundraising Manager.

Currently, we have a strong programme of Trust and Foundation fundraising, delivered by our CEO and functional managers, and a small programme of individual giving managed by our Communications and Campaigns team but no dedicated fundraising staff.

We are looking for an efficient fundraiser with an understanding of various fundraising strategies, from individual giving to trusts and foundations.

You will have to opportunity to build this role within a supportive and friendly organisation, and as part of our dynamic Communications and Campaigns Team.

As Director of Policy and Influencing, you will be responsible for ensuring robust, evidence based policy positions and the development and delivery of campaigns(including media and public affairs) to drive positive change for older people in financial hardship. You will lead our engagement work to raise our profile, grow our influence and increase our impact.

Having operated at a senior level, ideally as part of a Senior Leadership Team, you will be an inspiring leader with a demonstrable passion for our cause.  With a proven track record of successfully leading policy and influencing work that has resulted in positive change to policy or legislation, ideally in relation to older people or tackling financial hardship, you will have an astute understanding of the political environment.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9 day fortnight.
