About the Programme
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. Led by the charity in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health, it is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
About the Role
A core element of the programme is the expert assistance provided by a team of IPS professionals, known as IPS Grow Leads, to support providers to improve their fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes for their clients.
Focussing on working with regional and national stakeholders to support the national expansion of evidence-based employment provision within health systems, you will lead by example helping services translate research into on the ground practice, with a focus on quality and good performance. This will involve carrying out field mentoring/case reviews, quality assurance fidelity reviews, facilitating workshops and learning networks.
We are currently recruiting for one individual in each of these areas remote and onsite working, supporting IPS services across London, the Southeast and the North of England
About You
We are looking for candidates with experience of leading IPS teams as a Team Leader, Senior Employment Specialist, or Service Manager and driving these teams towards high fidelity and high-performance delivery.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
• IPS expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the IPS approach and practical applications. You should be familiar with the IPS evidence base and be able to talk convincingly about the benefits of IPS to different types of stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management: Ability to build rapport and positively influence a wide range of stakeholders with different priorities and communication styles.
• Driving performance outcomes: Track record of driving tangible improvements in IPS outcomes with a strong focus on performance management. Deep understanding of IPS implementation challenges and successful strategies to overcome them.
• Change management: Ability to plan, implement, and solidify positive change within IPS services and systems. Drive improvements in employment outcomes for IPS clients through strategic change initiatives.
• Strategic planning and organisational skills: Manage workloads and competing priorities efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high-quality output.
• Problem solving: Take a structured approach to solving problems with a high tolerance for ambiguity. Ability to adapt quickly to complexities in a rapidly changing landscape and develop creative and innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
• Self motivation: You will be able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and personal leadership. You will be committed to your own development and keep up to date with IPS and leadership practice. You will be continually curious and open to learning.
• Commitment to travel. The role involves significant travel to build relationships and provide hands-on support as well as meeting with IPS Grow team members from across England.

Purpose of This Role:
NASP is a highly ambitious charity, founded by government and working across diverse
sectors to improve healthcare in England and across the world through the development of
social prescribing. This is a senior leadership role to shape our future strategy and develop
existing and new partnerships with government departments, national agencies, charities,
business, the NHS and others to deliver this.
We are seeking an experienced senior leader, an optimist with strategic vision and a high
degree of intellect who can collaborate with other leaders to design and deliver solutions to
our most pressing problems in health and wellbeing. The postholder will navigate highly
complex systems and networks and need to be very politically astute, diplomatic and excel
at building relationships with trust and integrity.
The Executive Director for Strategy and Partnerships is the second most senior role in
NASP, with a remit for leadership across the organisation and responsibility to deputise for
the CEO. The core purpose of the role is to form strong relationships and partnerships with
leaders from diverse sectors and co-produce strategies and programme plans for joint work.
Existing formal partnerships include agreements with national ‘arm’s length’ bodies such as
Sport England and Natural England, and charities such as Independent Age. It includes line
management responsibilities for staff seconded by partners or employed directly by NASP,
to deliver partnership plans and priorities. The role includes the strategic leadership of multi
million-pound programmes reporting to government departments (for example working
closely with DEFRA to lead the Treasury-funded ‘Tackling and preventing mental ill health
through green social prescribing’ programme). Therefore, a focus on delivery and achieving
outputs and outcomes is just as important as strategic vision.
NASP also works internationally and there will be opportunities to travel regularly, for
example supporting our network of global contacts with events (most recently the Canadian
International Social Prescribing Conference).
The ideal candidate will be highly articulate, a persuasive public speaker, with a proven track
record of delivering complex high impact partnerships which make a measurable impact.
You will need to be comfortable advocating for social prescribing at the highest level; to
government ministers and officials, CEOs of large organisations and global partners such as
Movember, Amazon and the World Health Organization.

Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end closings, including journal preparation, accruals, and finalising accounts in Sage.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly, including agreeing on inter-charity balances within the group.
- Conduct profit and loss (P&L) reviews, ensuring the accuracy and understanding of monthly financial results.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to managers across the organisation, while assisting in the development of new reporting processes as needed.

• Raise awareness of the risks of poor mental health for fathers and their families during the perinatal period including information on suicide prevention
• Raise awareness of the impact on fathers of caring for a partner affected by perinatal mental health issues
This role would be ideal for somebody with a strong understanding of early attachment & the impact of parental mental health issues on parent-infant relationships and for those with a background and passion for addressing the barriers fathers may face to engagement.

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a motivated and compassionate veteran with experience in addiction recovery, mental health services or veteran welfare to help us expand and develop the SMART Veterans Programme in Scotland. We will be actively interviewing for this role as suitable candidates come forward, so we reserve the right to stop accepting applications earlier than the stated deadline.
You need to have experience of working with vulnerable people, or in supporting the welfare of individuals, ideally military personnel or veterans. Facilitation of meetings, training and group sessions is essential as is your knowledge of the needs veterans have when they leave service. You should have knowledge of best practice in facilitation and possess good presentation skills. Knowledge of what addiction recovery is and how recovery programmes work is important with knowledge of the SMART Recovery 4-point Programme being highly beneficial.
We accept applications from individuals who have lived experience of addiction either directly or through family and friends, and be able to demonstrate living a balanced life. You need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to motivate yourself and others and manage your time efficiently. Self-motivation is crucial as this is a home-based role with lots of virtual meetings. We will also consider a secondment from existing employment elsewhere.
Experience working with or being a volunteer is essential and experience of delivering training would equip you well for the role. The ability to support people with adverse lived experiences in a grounded manner and be able to provide support within professional boundaries is very important. Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.
The role is home-based, and you will be provided with all office equipment and a travel budget as needed. In order to manage your time and travel effectively you will need to be comfortable forming and developing relationships online, attending and hosting meetings via zoom or MS Teams (this is both business meetings with partner organisations and mutual aid recovery meetings). You will be required to conduct national travel and occasional overnight stays, visiting SMART meetings and facilitators in your area delivering a package of support to facilitators and our partners, helping the charity to grow by helping to generate new business. There are also team development residental trips away with the SMART team every year.
In addition, you will contribute to the global development of SMART Recovery via veteran orientated projects identified by SMART Recovery International. It is essential that you can travel and work flexibly to meet the needs of the role.

SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 10,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
We are seeking an experienced and a highly motivated staff member for our Complex Needs Accommodation Service. This Project is a 15 bed mixed gender supported accommodation based in Islington. The role will require you to work alongside the Regional Services Manager, to provide a high level of support to these clients.
You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs relating to: mental ill health, physical health & substance use needs. You will also play a key part in reducing the risk of re-offending, liaising with external professionals, preventing homelessness and promoting the independence and social inclusion of these clients.
The working rota for this post is Monday-Friday (no weekend shifts) and a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm.) We strongly welcome applications from local residents of Islington.
About you:
- Previous experience of working with people with complex support needs.
- Ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health, social care and criminal justice sector.

The Interim Project Support Officer role is multifaceted, involving assistance with a variety of projects, including chatbot and e-learning development and maintenance. This will include overseeing the storage and availability of project schedules, workflows and other team documentation to ensure the smooth running of team products, programmes and activities. The role also includes administrative tasks such as data recording, diary and email management, research duties and providing broader project support as needed. It will also involve cross-department working.
The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills and experience using databases. They will also have exceptional organisational skills and a familiarity with digital information delivery channels. They should have a good understanding of basic project management and effective information and documentation management. It is essential that the candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to draft routine correspondence, take accurate meeting minutes, and present clear, concise reports. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive working relationships, good presentation and facilitation abilities, and an understanding of co-production and safeguarding.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.
