ODAC continues to be on a journey of organisational change and growth, with the financial implications that come with that, having begun to diversify our business model to expand our programmes.
We are therefore recruiting a Finance Manager to lead the implementation and delivery of best-practice financial management and planning, ensuring that ODAC is ready to continue to increase our charitable impact.
This is the first Finance Manager role in the organisation and the role will involve using your knowledge and experience to develop the way that ODAC works. In recent years, financial management has been led by the Chief Executive, with a freelance book-keeping contractor and a 0.5 days/ week Finance Administrator, and we have an experienced Finance Lead on the Board of Trustees.
The Finance Manager will lead on bookkeeping, financial management, and providing support and advice to budget holders. They will collaborate with the Director on financial planning and reporting, and will be responsible for reviewing and implementing best practices, ensuring that the charity’s financial functions are fit for its size, purpose, and growth.

Corporate Partnerships
The RIBA Corporate Partnerships team is a new team that has been specifically created to innovate, attract, grow and deliver long-term, sustainable sponsorship revenue streams for RIBA, across a range of events, such as awards, conferences, talks, exhibitions and bespoke projects.

About the Role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of all corporate partnership contracts and activities, effectively and efficiently, to maximise the benefit of both the corporate partner and the RIBA.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role focuses on the management of corporate partner relationships, working innovatively with colleagues across the RIBA, to ensure a high level of income retention, growth and sales with existing partners.
This role includes key involvement in significant RIBA projects and events, such as the RIBA Stirling Prize; the RIBA Royal Gold Medal; RIBA Regional and National Awards; professional business and CPD events, seminars and roundtables; and a number of public talks and exhibitions at RIBA’s London headquarters and RIBA North in Liverpool’s Waterfront.
You will be required to
- Provide support to a varied portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring that they are stewarded effectively to strengthen their relationship with the RIBA, and so support long-term income growth for the RIBA
- Play a role in the renewals sales process including collaborating with the Head of Corporate Partnerships on new ideas and proposals
- Provide first point of contact and dedicated account management for corporate partners dealing with any queries or new requirements that may arise
- Work with RIBA member-facing teams to ensure corporate partners’ requirements are successfully delivered, in line with contracted objectives and goals
- Attend client meetings and internal stakeholder and management meetings as the representative of the Corporate Partnerships team
- Responsible for the administration of all corporate partner income and ensure that all payments are recorded and accounted correctly and as per the contracted terms
- Maintain appropriate systems for the management and reconciliation of the Corporate Partnerships budget
- Provide comprehensive and timely reports summarising corporate partnership activities against set objectives and goals
- Develop a close working relationship with colleagues across the RIBA, with the focus on raising the profile of our corporate partners and the value they bring to the RIBA
- Manage, motivate and lead staff, nurturing learning and development, to ensure that they continue to advance their skills and knowledge
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a membership, media or an events organisation or charity. We are looking for an innovative individual with:
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and written and verbal communication.
- A strong work ethic
- An ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- A knowledge of the architecture and construction industry would be an asset, though not essential.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will work closely with the Director of Finance, CEO, Finance and Programmes teams, and colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team; supporting them to meet financial targets, provide excellent stewardship and to implement key administrative and financial processes.
The core responsibilities include:
Income generation and External Engagement

Ownership of a range of administrative tasks, including stewarding of donors and partners and support of the Development Board.

Promptly addressing incoming queries from supporters and partners, including email, telephone and post; assist the team by managing;

Line Manager: Director of Communications and Engagement
Line Management Responsibilities: No line management. The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining management of freelancers, agencies and partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Communications campaign development and management:
- Develop and project manage a programme of integrated communication campaigns that grab attention and encourage action across rewilding practice, policy and fundraising.
- Work closely with the Communications and Engagement team to develop aligned messaging and campaign assets and to deliver these across owned, earned and paid channels.
- Lead on the creation of compelling campaign assets and content (e.g. polls, petitions, online actions and campaign toolkits).
- Manage campaign timeframes and budgets seeking a good, quantifiable return on investment.
- Gather and present audience insight to inform our campaigns and ensure our campaigning work is evidence led.
- Set and measure campaign KPIs, conduct campaign de-briefs and write campaign evaluations, encourage a culture of testing and learning and growing our campaigning approach.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits
The role is a full-time, 5-day-week (35 hours) position.

About The Role
From restoring nature and providing homes for wildlife to protecting communities from the devastating impact of flooding, wetlands are a powerful weapon in the fight against the climate crisis. And we’re looking for an experienced Communications Officer to deliver creative communications that help inspire 1million people to take action to protect, restore and create bigger, better, more connected wetlands.
This role will work across communications disciplines, flexing to support the team’s priorities. However, there will be a particular focus on external campaigning and helping to build a bolder voice for wetlands through communications and campaigning activity. This is a really exciting opportunity to make a real difference for nature, to speak up for wetlands and wildlife and inspire new and existing audiences with our messages.
We’re an organisation of action, running multiple conservation projects and networks in the UK and around the world, as well as our own 10 wetland visitor sites in the UK. As our Communications and Events Manager you will be expected to create narratives on these issues and link this to Bonsucro’s work on standards and certification, market development and collective action.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in strategy, planning and delivery of communications and events in a comparable organisation. We are looking for three Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) to join our team in High Wycombe.
The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
All Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups.
A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activites, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use).
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. You’ll also need a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.
