Location of Work: Flexible, this post holder can be based at home, our London office or a hybrid approach working from home with office visits as required, we continue to seek to enable flexible and remote working. The role may involve some irregular travel throughout England and Scotland.
Contract Type: Ideally full-time, 35 hours per week, although part time / flexible hours may be considered. The role may require occasional evening and weekend work.

BACKGROUND
Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. Over 200,000 children and young people are on roll at Primary, Secondary, ASL / Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units that the charity works with, in disadvantaged areas of Scotland and England. Providing breakfast ensures that children start their school day with the energy and nutrition they need to be able to make the most of their morning lessons. Magic Breakfast also undertakes research, and campaigns for long-term solutions to end hunger as a barrier to learning.

JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The biggest team within the Fundraising and Development department, Corporate Partnerships are responsible for building and unlocking multi-layered and mutually beneficial relationships that go beyond, and include, critical financial support.
The Head of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for leading, empowering and enabling a dynamic, growing and ambitious team to maximise the potential of both cash and gift-in-kind income streams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, mission-led focus and alignment across new partnership development and management whilst also playing a critical role as part of the wider Fundraising & Development leadership and Magic Breakfast core management group.
In recent years, our existing corporate fundraising programme has developed and grown and includes a volunteering programme that engages with over 200 volunteers a year. Our portfolio includes long-term strategic relationships with companies including Heinz, Amazon and New York Bakery Company as well as newer partnerships with companies such as Marriot Hotels. As the Head of the team, you will provide senior and strategic support to help deepen the impact of our many multi-faceted relationships whilst championing innovation and creativity throughout. You will also oversee the development of a targeted pipeline to ensure there are clear strategies for identification, cultivation, and stewardship and that partners are aligned with Magic Breakfast values and our Ethical Fundraising Policy.
To enable the success of the partnerships team, the successful candidate will work closely with other departments across the organisation to build effective relationships and identify and deliver opportunities for partners to deliver on and engage with our strategic objectives and campaigns.
As a member of the Senior Fundraising Leads and Core Management Group, the post holder will also show exceptional leadership, role model our core values, and support the development and delivery of the major giving and wider fundraising strategy, and the in-year management of our organisational objectives and KPIs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Leadership

Support the development and delivery of a new Fundraising & Development strategy, identifying and contributing specifically to sustainable and ambitious growth from corporate partners in line with the charity’s financial ambitions and strategic objectives

Lead in convening colleagues to ensure the organisation can make empowered decisions and continue to grow in an informed and sustainable manner.
Income Generation and Donor Stewardship

Manage a high-performing corporate fundraising team, providing leadership and support to set and implement an effective corporate fundraising strategy raising £3,400,000 in cash and £1,500,000 from GIK in 2024/25 with a focus on multi-year investment.

Increase cash and gift-in-kind income from corporate partners by:

Building the capacity of the new business function to grow a robust and diverse multi-year pipeline of prospects and support them in on-boarding new high value partnerships

Building the capacity of the account management function to effectively steward, uplift and retain our existing partners, maximising added value opportunities for mutual benefit.
Reporting, Budgets and Financial Management

Manage all aspects of the Corporate Partnerships team budget.

Lead on the data capture and reporting on all corporate management cash and gift income via our Salesforce data base, reporting as necessary on opportunities, risk and any changes to forecast or projected income received.

Conduct effective annual planning and budgeting in close collaboration with colleagues from across the organisation, setting, measuring, and reporting against agreed budget, KPIs and objectives
Core Management Group

Lead the Corporate Partnerships team in line with Magic Breakfast’s values, supporting and managing them in line with Magic Breakfast’s policies and procedures.

Develop the team’s collective capability through career development plans, which identify training opportunities (formal external training as well as via project allocation and involvement with external partners)

Part 1: Role Purpose:
Street Child is looking for a dynamic, confident individual with a passion for communications and a drive to make a difference.
We need a Global Communications Officer who is adaptable, personable, has an attention to detail and is ready to tackle any task with gusto. We are looking for someone who can drive forward our owned channel development, grow our website traffic and social media channels whilst maintaining strong platform engagement rates to generate fundraising.
Our ideal candidate will also create fresh campaigns with market cut through, develop clear, creative collateral, support our growing global advocacy efforts and identify opportunities for telling stories from Street Child’s programmes around the world. An eye for design and some basic editing skills is a bonus.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
1. Social channel content creation, maintenance and development
- Lead on the development and maintenance of the Street Child social channels, pushing forward our social strategy with a relentless focus on growth and engagement. Develop, create, and manage engaging content for our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), including identifying strategies for viral and timely content.
- Craft compelling copy and visuals that align with our brand voice and promote Street Child programmes around the world.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends and opportunities for Street Child’s social media presence.
2. Day-to-day website content updates & maintenance
- Lead on the day-to-day content updates and maintenance of the Street Child website, working to a turnaround time of 48 hours for business-as-usual activity.
- Work with external web developers to ensure Street Child’s website is optimised for raising awareness of our work, engaging supporters and raising funds.
- Develop high-quality written and visual content optimised for web, including managing our blog to ensure a steady output of content on Street Child programme areas, including primary education work, education in emergencies, and humanitarian programmes.
3. Communications resource for global fundraising teams
- Support the strategic development and communications needs of European and North American entities, ensuring a strong cohesive global voice for Street Child.
- Support global fundraising teams on all communication resource needs, including but not limited to event publicity/promotion, key appeal content and community resource generation.
- Support the creation of content/collateral for fundraising teams.
- Support the development of corporate communications, including but not limited to the design of impact reports, event promotion and publicity.
- Work with colleagues in other fundraising teams to establish communication calendars and plan for their respective areas of work, identifying communication needs and deadlines ahead of time.
4. Global advocacy communications support
- Support the delivery of global advocacy events, such as UNGA and World Economic Forum.
- Support corporate communications strategies around global advocacy events, such as UNGA and World Economic Forum.
- Craft compelling advocacy messages for Street Child-owned channels, working closely with our global programmes experts to position the organisation as though-leaders in the global education sector.
5. Wider MMC support
- Support the delivery of key content and assets for media.
- Support the contracting of in-country photographers and videographers.
- Support the individual giving donor mapping and communications development, helping to deepen and develop our donor relationships and increase unrestricted fundraising.

We are recruiting an interim Grants Operations and Data Manager, responsible for the systems, processes and data that contribute to the smooth running of the Foundation’s funding programmes.
The Rothschild Foundation delivers funding programmes both locally, in its home county of Buckinghamshire, and nationally, across England. Our areas of interest are Arts and Culture and Regenerative Food and Farming, where we make a number of multi-year investments each year, as well as operating a Community Fund which provides small grants to support local communities.
This is an exciting time to join the Grants Team. We have begun to refine our approach to our local funding through a Theory of Change process, involving local stakeholders in developing our intended outcomes. Following a review of our food and farming activity, we are developing a rejuvenated Regenerative Food and Farming strategy for our national activity in spring 2024. We have recently begun to develop our evaluation and learning processes.
We are lucky to call the beautiful Waddesdon Estate our home, operating from an office based on the Estate. Our grant-making is inspired by the art collection and buildings of Waddesdon Manor and the natural environment and farming practice of the Waddesdon Estate. We develop close working relationships with our grantees, often using our spaces and our cultural and environmental assets to support their work.
We offer hybrid working with some home-working, with Wednesday a dedicated day with the department all in the office.

Specific Duties Include
Systems and IT:
- Management of grants database (Blackbaud Grantmaking) including maintenance, auditing and system updates.
- Development of the database including external portal to improve user experience.
- Management and creation of online grant application and reporting forms with associated grantee correspondence and staff management dashboards.
- Working closely with IT and Records Management to structure and maintain the Grants Team’s SharePoint site and shared drives.
Finance:
- Develop, manage and maintain reporting systems to enable effective financial reporting.
- Develop and implement robust due diligence processes for all stages of grant making.
- Oversee grant payment requests and instructions, liaising with Accounts department to ensure payments are made on time and in accordance with grant agreements.

- Management and development of systems for collating and organising quantitative and qualitative data to meet evaluation and learning needs.

Communications:
- Management of the RF website including updates, content creation and liaising with website developers.
- Review of website content to ensure alignment with accessibility guidelines.

- Assist in production of the RF’s publications, such as Annual Review.
Line Management:
- Line management responsibility of the Grants Officer role.
Administration:
- Manage and improve administrative processes and procedures.

The role would suit people who have:
- Experience of managing databases, including some experience of grant-making software. We use Blackbaud and training can be provided.

- Some financial accounting experience. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail is a must.

An opportunity has arisen to provide support in our weekly groups for young people aged 13-19 who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties. The groups are an informal, fun, confidential space where young people can meet and chat with other young people, take part in feel-good activities and receive helpful information and tools. There are two groups a week, one on Thursdays in Tunbridge Wells between 4.30pm-6pm and another in a venue in Tunbridge Wells or Tonbridge, details to be confirmed.
We are looking for a Sessional Support Worker to assist with the delivery of the groups. The postholder will work closely with the Reachout Youth Coordinator to help plan and deliver the groups and provide support to group members. You will have experience of working with young people and an understanding of mental health conditions. You will have excellent communication and listening skills, be positive, warm and welcoming and able to deal confidently with challenging situations.
The role is for 5 hours per week. Most of your time will be spent at the groups in their 2 different locations, with some time being spent helping to plan activities, attend monthly supervision, and/or other relevant meetings outside of the groups.

Who will I be changing the lives of?
All of our learners have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and as a result all have some level of additional need. Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a forth clinic in Redbridge. This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. PiP's philanthropic income has doubled in the last 16 months and this role is the next investment in our Development & Engagement team to steward our funders, secure new funders to maintain income levels, and better communicate our impact.
The role has three main areas of responsibility:
- Managing funding partners - primarily trusts & foundations but corporate income is growing
- Identifying and securing new income – primarily partners in the £5-25K p.a. range
- Manage PiP communications – focused across audiences including non-philanthropic
We're looking for someone with experience in:
- Stewarding existing funders in the £5-25K p.a. range as part of a team including writing compelling impact & evaluation reports
- Developing and pitching concepts to funders to grow existing relationships and secure new partners
- Devising a communication strategy for an organisation and able to deploy this across channels e.g. print, social, and digital
- Being based on-site with service delivery and able to utilise this towards fundraising and communications goals
- Handling all elements of a project or delivery, PiP is a small charity so mucking in is essential
- Working across structures from senior management to delivery staff internally and externally
We're offering the following benefits:
- A salary between £29,500 & £33,500, dependent on experience
- You'll get 25 days holidays + bank holidays ever year. We're closed for Christmas but the rest of the year you may take leave whenever you wish.
- An extra day of annual leave for each year you've worked with us up to another 5 (30 in total)
- We offer a travel subsidy of £7.50 per day to help with commuting costs.
- We provide a 4% pension contribution
- It's an early finish on Fridays - we close once all students leave around 4pm.
