The Project
An emotional and wellbeing service that supports adults aged 18+ in primary care who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Patients are offered extended consultation times, quick and easy access to practical advice and tailored support for their mental health needs from a multidisciplinary team.
Patients can explore the situation affecting their wellbeing – whether that is an ongoing mental or physical health problem, loneliness, debt, or other issues. They can then be guided to appropriate resources that may help, including talking therapies, benefits advice, or an introduction to a local community group.
The role of the Community Connector is fundamental to the developing of these innovative teams and mental health services based within networks of GP Practices (Primary Care Networks – PCNs). The role supports the ongoing development and mobilisation of integrated primary care mental health services.
The Role
Providing a primary care mental health service within this context refers to:
- First level of intervention
- Ease of access
- A multidisciplinary approach working a range of professionals across PCN’s inclusive of GP’s, Practice Nurses, Mental Health Practitioners, Pharmacists and Psychiatrists.
- Supporting patients to access to a wide range of community services and resources including social care, housing, family, debt and employment support that contribute toward maintaining good health and wellbeing.
About You
Below is the essential criteria of the role:
- A diploma or degree in appropriate subject i.e. counselling, psychology, social work, probation, mental health, Health and Social Care (Level 3) or NVQ Level 3+ and/or a minimum of 2 years community experience of mental health work.
- Understand confidentiality, consent, and GDPR
- Ability to travel within Surrey and local area if required.
- Ability to work flexibly across operational hours and evenings and weekends, where required.
- To work co-operatively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- An understanding and ability to work to the confidentiality, consent, information sharing and safeguarding policies of the integrated service.
- Good communication and written skills and a commitment to accurate and confidential record keeping.
- Ability to interact effectively with the client group, colleagues and other professionals whilst retaining clear boundaries.
- Able to break down stigma and barriers associated with working with the client group.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the issues and needs of the client group.
- Knowledge and understanding of community working, lone working, and ability to maintain safety whilst working in the community.
- Ability to work to all the policies, procedures and standards of the Service and joint working arrangements with key partners.

About the role

In this role you will be a key member of the Complex Specialist Directorate operating across Look Ahead's geography in Learning Disability and Autism services. What you'll do:

RSPB Scotland is looking for a Fundraising Manager to help generate and maximise income from external funding sources. The role is primarily responsible for raising money for work undertaken by RSPB Scotland, and as such the successful candidate will ideally be based in Scotland.
What's the role about?
We are looking for a motivated individual with relevant fundraising experience who will take the initiative to seek out new funding opportunities and create high quality funding proposals.
This role will have a particular focus on raising income from grants and charitable trusts but may require flexible working across fundraising streams. Therefore, experience in corporate and/or individual fundraising would be desirable.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are crucial to the success of this role, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and prioritise to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate must also be confident in building and developing strong relationships, both externally with funders and internally with RSPB staff from other offices and nature reserves. This role will also include line management responsibilities.
Knowledge of the threats facing nature and our climate, and a passion to contribute towards tackling these issues, is required.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Proven, successful track record in securing five and six figure donations from grants and/or charitable trusts
- Excellent writing skills for compiling funding proposals and projects reports and claims
- Good numeracy skills, attention to detail, and ability to collate project budgets and grant claims

About the Role
Working under the direction and support of a Regional Prevention Services Managers, the Deputy Service Manager will lead a team of client-facing workers to deliver effective and high-quality services that strive to prevent homelessness. You will be responsible for young people needing longer term placements, as well as sharing responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all hosts and staff at the service.
The postholder will be accountable for the day-to-day aspects of service delivery in line with Depaul’s expectations and procedures. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery of our Supported Lodgings service, including the line management of client-facing workers, supporting the to deliver high-quality services.
Your work will be underpinned by the Depaul Endeavour model of assets based, psychologically informed delivery, the aim of which is to ensure that every client leaves a Depaul service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self determining in their lives.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure every client accessing Supported Lodgings service is welcomed, kept safe and has a suitable support plan for longer term accommodation and support
• You will lead on the assessment of needs and risk, predominantly focused on suitable risk management plans for engagement in Supported Lodgings Services
• Develop and deliver key partnerships with referral agencies and support related projects
• Work with the Regional Prevention Services Manager to continuously review and develop the services under your responsibility
• You will have responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of the environment for Supported Lodgings’ guests and volunteers through regular checks and reporting.
• Work with the Regional Prevention Services Manager to monitor project budgets and petty cash systems
• Participate in internal/external local and national meetings and supervision meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary
• Lead on the safeguarding of all clients accessing your services including clients who are not in receipt of support from other staff

Action for M.E. is the only charity in the UK providing direct support to children and adults with M.E. We provide vital support services, campaign for change and invest in ground-breaking research to help put an end to the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by people with M.E.
We are looking for an empathic and resilient individual to join a friendly and well-established team of part-time, remote-based Information and Support Officers, on a 12-month contract. The purpose of this role is to provide a holistic, client-centred, effective and efficient Information and Support Service to people affected by M.E. We do this primarily via outgoing calls made in response to triaged voicemail messages, and also via email.
You can choose to be home-based anywhere in the UK, work from our Bristol office, or a hybrid of the two.
Our Information and Support Service team has a deep understanding of the issues affecting people with M.E. and their family and carers. Some of our clients come to us in considerable distress so this work isn’t always easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding and is valued by our clients and the wider organisation.

The Senior Communications Officer role:
As our Senior Communications Officer, you will assist with the development and the delivery of the Communications Strategy through use of our various communications channels and functions: websites, social media, newsletters, leaflets, posters, press releases, events etc. You will also increase the visibility of St Luke’s and its brand to the wider community, with the aim to reach new target groups for membership, increase visitor participation in our events and activities and generate income from fundraising and commercial activities.
