The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.

We are seeking a versatile and experienced CAMHS nurse to work as part of our CAMHS Service to British Forces Cyprus. You will be responsible for providing a child and adolescence mental health service to individuals and families by providing a range of clinical interventions to children and young people across British Forces Cyprus (BFC) who are struggling with their mental health and require specialist support from mental health services.

You will work autonomously and carry a clinical caseload of service users requiring CAMHS intervention, utilising age-appropriate interventions in line with NICE Guidelines.

You will report to the Locality Team Leader and will be supported by the Clinical Advisor for CAMHS.

About the team

There are 3 SSAFA locality Community Health teams in Cyprus, each team is led by a Locality Team Leader; the teams consist of Midwives, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Community Children’s Nurses, CAMHS, Dietitian and Speech and Language Therapists. The Community Health Service is supported by a Child Consultant Psychiatrist and a Community Paediatrician who provide a peripatetic visiting service from the UK.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, with relevant post qualification experience. Experience of work within a military environment would be an advantage. You will have a good working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, with the opportunity to facilitate safeguarding training and participate in Family and Children in Need Supervision.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Internal Communications Officer who will play a critical role in developing and shaping the organisation’s internal communications for the staff of the Connexional Team.

The post holder will work closely with Senior Managers to ensure that the Team’s values, mission and updates are effectively communicated to all Team members working across several sites and from home, to foster a cohesive and motivated work environment.

The successful applicant will strive to create an environment where communication fosters a sense of community, aligned with the Church’s mission and values to create an engaged and informed Connexional Team.

In this crucial role, the Internal Communications Officer will be responsible for establishing and managing channels for staff feedback to leadership, producing engaging content for various channels, and organising and delivering internal events.

The successful applicant will also provide support and training for staff on communication tools and practices, encourage staff to be ambassadors of the Church, and plan and approve regular communications to be sent out to employees including staff newsletters and newsletters from Team members.

About You

The post holder will have at least three years’ experience of working with an internal communications context within an organisation and will have the ability to develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with the organisation’s values.

You will be able to articulate messages clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, that are tailored to various internal audiences.  Exceptional writing, editing and proof-reading skills for a range of communication channels are a must for this role.

You will also have strong organisational skills with the ability to lead projects, work collaboratively and be proficient in digital communication tools and platforms.

This role will fill two very important functions:

Business Partner to Central Services - Supporting the head office functions to manage their budgets

FP&A - support the Senior Manager for FP&A to run the budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.

What you'll do:

Work with Central Services (head office) colleagues to review their management accounts on a regular basis ensuring that risks are understood and actions are identified to mitigate these.
Support Central Services colleagues to get help from other relevant finance team members, this could include advocating with finance on behalf of Operations or supporting Operations to understand finance policies, concepts and processes.
Lead on budgeting and forecasting for Central Services.
Support the Senior FP&A Manager to lead the Group budgeting, forecasting and 30 year business planning processes.
Deputise for Senior FP&A Manager when required. This may include working with CFO on budgeting analysis or longer term modelling.
Lead on maintaining all budgeting and forecasting templates and reports. Identifying areas of improvement and ensuring that the templates are kept relevant as the organisation develops
Support with financial evaluation of new business opportunities and their impact on Look Ahead's long term financial viability.

About you:

Previous experience of planning and budgeting and delivery of key reports in a large organisation.
Be capable of managing (sideways and upwards) senior individuals across multiple disciplines and have extensive, demonstrable people management experience and a clear understanding of the people implications and people agenda on the success of the business.
Financial expertise to understand requirements, produce reports, provide financial analysis and to identify underperformance and risks.
Confident, ability to lead, and communicate with others to influence business decisions and financial performance.
Meticulous, accurate and attention to detail
Experience in business modelling and financial forecasting.
Advance skills in using Excel and to learn specific planning systems such as Bricks

What you'll bring:

Essential:

ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA or equivalent full professional qualification.
Ability to analyse complex financial information, identify issues, recommend solutions and express them clearly to "lay" managers.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and all levels internally and externally.

Experience in business partnering of FP&A

Home-Start Barnet (HSB) delivers personalised, early intervention programmes to families with young children, who have multiple needs and are struggling to cope with the challenges they face. Our trained volunteers provide the emotional support needed to prevent crisis and the practical tools to empower parents and carers to give their children the best start in life.

The Operations and Communications Administrator will proactively facilitate this work by being a central point of contact and by offering key administrative support across the organisation. They will be a self-starter, well organised and committed to the cause.

The role is based at our offices in Finchley, N3. We ideally require someone to be present in the office 5 days a week, but there can be flexibilty for the right candidate. This would suit someone who would like to work shorter days or around other commitments. We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Team Leader to join our Mental Health service in Newham.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the contract manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

What you'll do:

Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
Deliver effective supervision and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisations succession plans
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer
Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Contract/Heads of Operations
Deliver an out of hours on-call service for region, where required
Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate
Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times and to uphold all health and safety responsibilities within relevant policies and local protocols
Adhere to all the policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing plus those specific to the project including any statutory requirements

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Survivor Advocate to support survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of referral, to provide high quality, independent advocacy and support.
