Dandelion Time’s pioneering nature-based therapy seeks to rebuild the confidence and self-belief of children and families impacted by trauma, enabling them to take the necessary steps to move forward. To support our expansion across Kent, we have an exciting opportunity to join our close knit and hugely supportive team as the Bid Manager. We have just launched our five-year plan and need an experienced, confident and collaborative individual who will be able to hit the ground running.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and supported by an experienced part-time Bid Writer you will be lead on the development and implementation of the income generation strategy for bids, primarily from Trusts and Foundations. Your focus will be to identify a diverse range of high value opportunities to build a pipeline of sustainable income.
To excel in this role you will demonstrate significant experience of researching and writing detailed and compelling proposals for trusts. You will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding income targets, securing one-off or multi-year grants of five-figure sums or above and multi-year funding.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including the day-to-day management of both new and existing funders.

Are you highly organised, resourceful, and passionate about making a difference? The Baobab Centre is seeking an Operations and Admin Assistant to support our vital work with young asylum seekers and refugees.
In this varied role, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and admin team to ensure the smooth running of our Centre by managing administrative tasks, assisting with IT and communications, and supporting operations and fundraising initiatives. You’ll also play a part in amplifying the voices of our community through social media and helping with community engagement activites.

Mental Health: All of the young people Baobab supports suffer significant mental health and developmental difficulties and many function in an unstable and more immature way than their chronological age. Due to their experiences it takes time to gain trust from the young people in our community. As a core member of our team, you will understand the impact of specific human rights abuses on the development of children and young people in exile and their individual experiences of loss, trauma and grief on their mental health and well-being.

It often takes a significant amount of time to understand Baobab’s model of working, which aims for rehabilitation and justice through attending to both the internal and external world of each young. The Training Officer (Accreditation) is critical to the work of the College, as you will provide services to both trainees and Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)/portfolio applicants, supporting them in completing their training programmes and specialist registration.
As Training Officer (Accreditation), you will develop a thorough understanding of the RCEM Curriculum and CESR processes, ensuring that all trainees and applicants receive high-quality support and advice in line with continuous developments and changes to College standards and GMC regulation. This is an important role for the College as you will contribute to the efficient regulation and support of specialist training in Emergency Medicine.
Responsible for facilitating and processing Certification for the Completion of Training (CCT), Specialist Registration and CESR applications, including formal notifications to the GMC and coordination of CESR panel reviews, you will provide documentation for GMC CCT Quality Assurance audits and maintain detailed records relating to the CESR process.
Reporting to the Training Manager, you will lead on the recruitment, induction, training and monitoring of CESR evaluators, developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, trainee doctors, Health Education regions, deaneries and lay members.
Degree qualified or with equivalent experience, you should have an extensive background in administering training programmes and complex processes, and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software packages. We are looking for an exceptional Finance & Operations Director, for an interim one-year period, to help us ensure that all aspects of the charity and the Centre run smoothly and efficiently, and to provide effective financial management.
We are based at our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. Our Centre houses an amazing collection of 25,000 children’s books as well as being a training and event centre for teachers, publishers and everyone else who works with children’s literature and cares about children’s literacy. We have a friendly, talented and committed team working both from the Centre and remotely. The post holder would be required to work at our Centre at least one day per week but may work remotely for the remainder of their hours.
As we are currently undergoing a restructure of the team, we will consider most models of part-time hours, from 2 to 4 days per week, year-round or term-time only. On application, please detail your availability and preferences for working between 15 and 30 hours per week.
Reporting to our Chief Executive, our Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) will:

The Events Assistant[CF1] is a crucial role at the College as you will help and support colleagues in the delivery of events, from administrative assistance in planning the events, to the production of event documentation, branding or collateral, in addition to liaising with events stakeholders, including speakers, programme leads and delegates.
As Events Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support for online event registration, delegate bookings, delegate communications and associated queries. Membership Engagement Officer

The Membership Engagement Officer is an exciting and varied role at the College as you will be responsible for increasing engagement with members and enhancing the member experience, whilst driving engagement initiatives and increasing member retention.
As Membership Engagement Officer, you will work with multiple teams across the College helping to develop and implement strategies to attract, engage and retain members through events, social media, newsletters and other communication channels while developing content that caters for our diverse membership groups.
Working with the Communications Team, you will help create and manage engaging content for member communications, ensuring opportunities for two-way communications and engagement, whilst also ensuring the best use of emerging channels and technology – e.g. podcasts, apps and webinars – to deliver content to members, segmented to our different audience members.
Reporting to the Head of Membership, you will support the delivery of the Member Value Proposition work, gathering and analysing member feedback to inform development and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies by tracking engagement metrics and be responsible for preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
Helping to plan and deliver member events, workshops and networking opportunities to foster community collaboration, you will also be responsible for the production of the annual report as well as supporting the delivery of the AGM and its associated content each year.
With a good level of education, perhaps to degree level or with equivalent experience in communications, marketing or a related field, you will have proven experience in member engagement, communications or a customer relations role.
You should have a background in delivering member-focused communications and events and be adept at using two-way channels for engagement, whilst also having experience of successfully implementing process improvement to improve the member experience. Our Enhanced Housing Officers provide a housing service to hostel residents who find it difficult to maintain and sustain their accommodation. You will be working in partnership with a wide range of other services to ensure that our residents are motivated and supported through pre- and post- sign up, to claim benefits and grants, manage their accommodation, report repairs and complaints, access education, and develop financial skills.
Enhanced Housing Officers also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with H&S regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.
You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of housing management and Health and Safety regulation, be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Role: The successful candidate will be working with adults in a residential setting delivering assessments, group sessions and one-to-one therapy to those admitted to the service.
