The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.
Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, food hubs and other organisations serving people in need. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and keyworkers.
We were founded in 2016 in memory of Felix Byam Shaw, by his father, entrepreneur Justin Byam Shaw.
Purpose of the Job
Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will be a primary point of contact for managers and employees accessing HR services, advising, providing information and guidance on core HR policy and process.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring first-class service delivery and professionalism. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle, and providing guidance to People Officer and People Administrator.

Join us as a Housing Management Officer and you could soon be providing vital support to our Housing Manager Lead, as together you help us plan and organise all regulatory housing management activities. To succeed, you’ll need Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 3 Certified Practitioner status (or equivalent) and an excellent understanding of void management, bad debt and maximising income, plus the relevant regulatory requirements.
You’ll also need experience of working in a customer-focused environment or service and an understanding of the issues associated with individuals who may have complex support needs. Comfortable working in partnership with other key agencies and local communities, you’re also adept at identifying and monitoring key compliance in respect of health & safety requirements relating to properties and tenants. What’s more, you’re well organised, great at negotiating and developing effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and happy to provide housing training to colleagues.

About You:
To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.
You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.

About LMK
Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK (Let Me Know) is on a mission to change that. We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. We work in schools, community organisations and workplaces across London.
LMK is growing at pace and we are ambitious in our plans for the future. We’ve already engaged 15,000 young people and professionals in our workshops in our first 4 years and we want to reach 10,000 young people per year by 2025-26.

Job Purpose
This is a new role, joining a small and growing Fundraising Team, with responsibility for proactively leading the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, grant-making trusts, and corporate supporters, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.
You will build and maintain lasting relationships with LMKs valued funders, thinking strategically and working closely with programme delivery colleagues to develop fundraising cases of support and impact reporting.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Development, the successful candidate will join LMK’s core staff team, and will have a real input into our plans and strategies for the future by working with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board and trustees to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver a structured and dynamic plan to engage high-value donors, trusts and corporate supporters.
● Understand supporter motivations, identifying opportunities across the Charity that inspire and engage, enabling supporters to achieve their fundraising goals.
● Work closely with colleagues to develop inspiring fundraising cases for support and impact reporting.
● Undertake prospect research, identifying prospective new funders for LMK
● Meet with and present to potential and existing funders with passion, enthusiasm and professionalism.
● Manage funder relationships, ensuring that they are kept informed of progress, key milestones and future opportunities to support the charity, and that they are thanked and thoughtfully stewarded, in order to maximise retention, and increase levels of support over time.

● Work with colleagues to monitor the progress of grant-funded projects, ensuring that obligations are fulfilled within the terms of the grant wherever possible and informing funders in a timely fashion of any significant deviations from projections.
● Proactively seek out feedback from funders where appropriate, share insights with the team and use this to inform LMK practice.
● Ensure all activities are legally compliant, in keeping with our values and adherent to due diligence and our Acceptance or Refusal of Donations Policy.
● Ensure that information relating to funders is appropriately recorded in CRM systems, accurate and adheres to data protection guidelines.

Person specification
● A proven ability to work proactively to identify new contacts and opportunities for funding through extensive research
● Experience of providing excellent relationship management and stewardship resulting in increased levels of financial support from partners
● Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
● Thorough understanding of legal and charity regulations in relation to fundraising
● Skilled in identifying and developing creative, high-quality cases for support, funding proposals and impact reporting in collaboration with others
● Strong MS Office/Google knowledge, numerate, comfortable with data
● Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

Robin Hood Avenue is a small mental health, supported housing service, working to a recovery model. About the team
We specialise in emergency homelessness work, intensive support to children and families and people experiencing domestic abuse, and/or multiple disadvantage and have been providing housing advice and support to the people of Sheffield for over 20 years. We take a holistic approach to help people to deal with interrelated issues that can impact their ability to get and keep a home, so they can thrive within the community. These include high intensity support, legal representation, practical DIY assistance and specialist housing, employment training and welfare benefits advice. The clients we help have a range of issues include physical and mental health conditions, drug and alcohol use, income and money management and domestic abuse.
About the role
You will help clients to maintain independence and to thrive, by offering practical assistance, support, advice, advocacy, coaching and encouragement to enable households to resettle and to prevent homelessness. All our Support Workers hold a ‘caseload’ of households and are responsible for developing outcome focused support plans, managing any risks and continually assessing need. Shelter staff are highly knowledgeable and capable and we provide our staff with a range of training opportunities, in subjects such as: housing and homeless legislation; benefits and welfare; safeguarding and risk management.

About you
You will need a relevant background that includes experience of housing, homelessness and welfare benefits law and supporting people who are vulnerable and/or have multiple and complex needs. Through this you will have a good working knowledge of safeguarding frameworks. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including Microsoft Office applications is important too. If you have experience of using case managements systems this is an advantage, but not essential. The role will need you to visit clients in their homes so you will need a valid driving licence and be willing to use your vehicle for work purposes - for which an essential car user allowance will be paid.

The charity is looking for a Media and Communications Manager (maternity cover) to help its work to stop economic abuse forever.
You would be joining the charity at an exciting time. In this role, you would lead on delivering the charity’s press office function and manage the charity’s annual Economic Abuse Awareness Day campaign.
As part of this role, you will also work closely with survivors to land high-profile media coverage to raise awareness about economic abuse and support our work influencing the new government. As well as line-manage the Communications Officer and oversee their work delivering the charity’s social media communications.
About you
- You will have excellent news sense and an understanding of social media, having worked in a busy press office or as a journalist.
- You will have a track record in creating and delivering impactful media stories while navigating competing priorities and deadlines with agility.
- You will have a compassionate approach to working with people with lived experience to empower them to safely tell their story in the media.

About the role
- Deliver an efficient and effective press office, swiftly and professionally responding to media inquiries from journalists.
- Manage the planning, delivery, and oversee the team’s execution of major communications campaigns, such as Economic Abuse Awareness Day.
- Lead on creating and delivering media stories to support the charity’s aim to raise awareness of economic abuse and influence policy and legislative change.
- Work closely with the Survivor Engagement Specialist to identify and gather survivors’ stories and support them to safely tell their story in the media.
- Line-manage a Communications Officer and oversee their work delivering our social media communications, ensuring strategic, on brand and responsive to risks and opportunities.
- Deliver media training to charity spokespeople and provide both written and verbal briefings ahead of interviews to ensure message consistency.
- Feedback and sign-off on communication materials developed by others to ensure consistent messaging, in line with the charity’s brand guidelines.
- Protect and maintain the charity’s brand and reputation, identifying risks and working with team members to effectively respond.
