We are looking for a Multiple Disadvantage Refuge Worker for our clients London based team. This rewarding position will give you the chance to work with vulnerable women and children fleeing domestic violence by offering them vast emotional support within a crisis. Not only will you be advocating on their behalf, but you will also be ensuring they have efficient access to housing and a range of diverse support services dependent on their individual needs.

As a Multiple Disadvantage Refuge Worker, you will be:
· Supporting Women and children fleeing domestic abuse whether that be emotionally or financially, providing them with somewhere safe to stay, advocating and advising them.
· Working particularly with women who have multiple needs and have experienced domestic, or sexual violence and who have mental illness or substance misuse issues.
· Managing a caseload of service users.
· Signposting service users to the correct services in accordance to their individual needs.
· Creating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
· Responding to and assessing referrals.
To be successful, you will need to:
· Be experienced within dealing with vulnerable people specifically high risk women and children and be responsive to crisis situations.
· Have managed a caseload previously.
· Show an empathetic and kind nature.

About the Role
We are now recruiting for a dedicated Through-the-Gate Project Worker to join our Criminal Justice and Detention Services team. This role will provide specialist support to migrant women being released from prison or detention into the London area and beyond.
The Through-the-Gate Project Worker will act as the main point of contact for referrals for women being released from prison or immigration removal centres. The role will involve managing a caseload of up to 15 migrant women who are in contact with the criminal justice system and / or under immigration restrictions, helping them to prepare for release and supporting them to resettle in the community afterwards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with statutory, partner and other voluntary organisations to maximise provision of support for women being released from prison/detention. The post-holder will also work as part of Hibiscus’ Safe Homes for Migrant Women project team, to improve provision of safe and secure housing for Black and minoritised migrant women.
[Please note: Successful candidates will need to have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years to ensure the clearance process is authorised. The post holder will be subject to checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service and HMPPS security vetting]

About You
We are particularly keen to attract talent from Black and minoritised communities and those with lived experience of immigration and/or the criminal justice system.
The successful candidate will have significant experience working directly with women affected by the criminal justice system, the immigration system, or violence against women and girls. Experience working in a prison or detention setting would be an advantage.
They will be able to demonstrate trauma-informed, gender-responsive practice and maintain clear boundaries with clients; managing challenging behaviour with empathy. The successful candidate will have experience of working in partnership with statutory and non-statutory organisations, and proven ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.

Well House is a crisis house supported accommodation service that supports individuals for between 14 and 28 days as an alternative to requiring hospital admission for their mental health needs. The service works closely in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team in order to meet individual needs, manage risk and support individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure members of the local community are able to access critical mental health support at all hours. The service receives referrals primarily from a local hospital emergency department and crisis lines, and may receive these referrals at any time of day or night.

About Us
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Worker to join Church Walk which is a women only project. Supporting 31 women with complex needs. Referrals come from Hackney housing and other providers in the Hackney Pathway. We work with women with complex trauma. We joint work with local mental health teams, Adult social services, Domestic abuse navigator and services attached safeguarding, MARAC.
The project provides a client-centred recovery-based approach tailored to the needs of the individual which is gender specific. Staff promote engagement with internal and external services with the purpose of enabling clients to positively progress in their recovery journey.
The role will involve holding a case load, as well as supporting and motivating colleagues by exemplifying good practice in client led key working, outcomes, incident handling, risk management and innovative practice To be successful in this role you should have a good understanding of the needs of homeless people and be able to work in an empathic and boundaries way with people who have experienced complex trauma.

The successful candidate will be committed to using, and coaching others to use, psychologically informed and trauma-informed working to engage multiply excluded and highly vulnerable adults to identify and achieve their goals. You will have experience of developing strategic initiatives that have proven results in improving the outcomes of a team.
Your strong emotional intelligence and resilience will underpin an empathetic approach to client-facing work and to working with a staff team that deals with highly complex individuals and situations on a daily basis. Vine Court is a supported accommodation service providing on-site support Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm for up to 7 vulnerable and complex individuals with low to medium needs, who have experienced homelessness.
This role is Monday to Thursday, 10 hour shifts- 9am-7pm.
You will provide information, social inclusion and vocational opportunities to support people to recover and stay well; exercise choice and control in their care and lives; and participate on an equal footing in the community.
Look Ahead promotes PIE and trauma informed approaches to ways of working. This is an approach which was developed to support people out of homelessness, in particular those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. However, its application is far broader than only homelessness. It considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.

This role enables vulnerable people with mental health needs to maximise independent living skills and opportunities for social inclusion as wells as manage their tenancies. The purpose of this role is to support customers developing the skills needed to move on to other appropriate accommodation with lower levels of support and greater levels of independence.

Well House is a crisis house supported accommodation service that supports individuals for between 14 and 28 days as an alternative to requiring hospital admission for their mental health needs. The service works closely in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team in order to meet individual needs, manage risk and support individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure members of the local community are able to access critical mental health support at all hours. The service receives referrals primarily from a local hospital emergency department and crisis lines, and may receive these referrals at any time of day or night.
Early Shift 8am to 4pm
Late Shift 2pm to 10pm
Also requires working weekends

Night Support Workers enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. Night Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.
As a Night Support Worker in RBKC Complex Needs Services, you will work with a variety of support needs, working between our different services to ensure that person centred support is provided to all our customers. Our aim is to ensure we work in a psychologically informed way to bring excellent support to our customers.
This shift pattern for this role is 21.00 - 8.00 on a rolling rota.

What you'll do:
Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community
Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management team
Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible
What you'll bring:
Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent or experience in the social care/charity sector
Experience working in homelessness
