We are seeking a Recruitment Officer to join our dynamic People and Culture team, providing support and advice to MAG’s employees working in over 30 countries across the world. This is an exciting role, where your recruitment and talent acquisition skills and experience will help us make a real difference, supporting our lifesaving work across the globe!
You will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, selecting and interviewing candidates, as well as offer administration and ensuring successful completion of new starter on-boarding. Communication skills are essential to this role as day-to-day the role holder will pro-actively source talent for vacancies (using a range of channels); coordinate recruitment processes: provide recruitment & selection advice to hiring managers; liaise with hiring managers to understand vacancy briefs; plan and arrange interviews; advertise jobs internally and externally, review job applications and deliver a first-class candidate experience at all stages. This is a fast-paced role reporting into a Senior HR Manager and requires a high level of initiative, pro-activeness and strong multi-tasking skills.
You will need to have experience of providing an efficient recruitment service, ideally in an in-house environment and providing advice to hiring managers. Previous experience of working in international HR is not necessary, but you will need to rely on your varied resourcing experience and sound principles of people management. Above all, you will need to be approachable, flexible, have a good eye for detail and be ready to work in a busy and varied role. You will also recognise that good recruitment and selection practice can make a real difference to MAG’s success in saving lives and building futures.

About the role
This is a senior role working across the whole Charity, tasked with growing public awareness and support for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Leading on marketing, PR, brand and design, this role will manage relations with media, stakeholders, supporters and the wider public, creating and delivering engaging campaigns, generating support for the Charity, demonstrating impact and increasing income generation.

- Lead and give strategic marketing direction to the charity team, taking responsibility for all marketing activities within the charity to ensure consistent messaging
- Identify and develop key relationships with journalists and influencers across a broad range of media
- Lead, manage and plan key Charity marketing and communications initiatives such as the annual Glow Green Night Walk and Annual Ball.
- Be responsible for brand management, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications and adherence to brand and corporate identity guidelines.
- Oversee the design, production and dissemination of marketing and communications collateral, as required including annual reports and impact statements.

Working with young people in a variety of educational settings, St. Giles’ SOS+ Service delivers early intervention work, through one-to-one mentoring and preventative sessions on violence, vulnerability and exploitation. About this key role
Our successful candidate will assess referred clients, with reference to St Giles Trust assessment practices, offering support to up to 20 young people per year, who are identified by local partners as most at need of support. You will produce support and risk management plans based on these assessments, plus deliver a holistic support service, working independently or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will involve providing practical guidance on areas such social and housing support, education, training and employment options, and benefits work.
We will count on you to develop and maintain strong relationships with referral and partner agencies, including police, Youth Offending Teams, Probation, local authorities and social services, while closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a survival plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support is also a key aspect of this role.
What we are looking for
- To have worked on an offender-led support project, had personal experience of the criminal justice system, served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison within reach of Greater Manchester
- Experience in negotiation with partner agencies to establish links to further aims of the project
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people
- To have a relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one
- Knowledge of the local community, its projects and services available to young people
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

About You

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as a Project Officer working in partnership with Southeastern, Medway Council and other partners in developing the Kent Community Railway Partnership (CRP). You will work as part of a small team, building strong relationships with communities, schools, workplaces and other local organisations.
As the Project Officer, you will help deliver the CRP action plan, which is a combination of mini-projects and core activities, offering a tailored package of support to groups and various community and school groups. You will also bring new volunteers on board and support them with their ongoing experience as part of the CRP.
As the project officer you will develop and engage communities in fun, innovative and informative activities. You will also share resources, and work with communities to reduce car use to and from train stations, increasing the opportunities for walking wheeling and cycling,
This role will require travel and work throughout Kent including the Isle of Sheppey as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

You should have experience of leading, motivating activities for schools and community groups, being able to communicate confidentially to diverse communities by various means.

THE ROLE: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) / Permanent / Working Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager to join us managing West Sussex Tranisitonal Housing. Transitional Housing provides homes for young people in a range of settings across the county. Service is low to medium support for young people in a range of accommodations who are established in managing their own daily living skills and can keep themselves safe.
The focus of the work is to engage creatively with young people to identify, map and encourage growth of their strengths and talents as they develop into a sustainable and independent adulthood. The Supported Housing manager is responsible for the daily operations at Tranisitional Housing, providing a high quality, safe, welcoming and secure supported housing accommodation for young people at risk whilst leading and developing the team. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:
- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices
- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives
-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times
-- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations that add value to the core, commissioned service (or have the potential to) attending relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
-- General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality

You will already have experience of leading supported housing services, with proven experience in safeguarding in a supported housing environment. You will have a sound knowledge of the additional risks incurred by children and young people who have multiple, and complex needs due to their experiences and knowledge of trauma informed practice and how to create psychologically informed environments. In addition, you will be flexible, with the ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking and dealing with competing priorities. Ideally you will have knowledge and knowledge of Ofsted.

This newly created position of Relationship Fundraising Manager is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative fundraising team as we look to develop major donor fundraising further.
The role will be responsible for overseeing all individual donor relationships, with a focus on major gifts. This includes developing and implementing a major donor strategy, as well as assisting the Head of Fundraising with corporate fundraising. - At least three years’ experience in a charity/third sector fundraising position or similar
- Strong interpersonal and networking abilities; adept at building rapport quickly with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Experience of building and managing a portfolio of both ongoing and new relationships

- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and working towards financial targets
- An understanding of and empathy with the aims of Oakleaf & needs of its client group

We are keen to employ THREE part-time Practitioners – TWO working daytime shifts (8am to 8.30pm) and ONE Practitioner working night shifts. (8pm to 8.30am).
Children & Young People’s Residential Practitioners
Location: Working exclusively at our all-female Children’s Home, Yvonne House, SW8 (Zone 2)
Salary: £27,400 to £29,000 pa + benefits (pro-rata)
Hours: Part-time (27hrs per week), shift work
The setting is an all-female Children’s Home for 13-to-17-year-olds. Whilst the home is stunning, modern, and purpose-built, our greatest asset is our people.
Ideal candidates will join a strong team of Practitioners who put love and kindness into everything they do.

Part-time Practitioners work two 12-hr shifts per week. One shift Monday to Friday plus either a Saturday or a Sunday shift. You will also need to be available for meetings, training, and group thinking space – these take place on Fridays from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The total number of working hours is 27hrs per week.
