The Role:
This is a 12 month fixed term contract. The Funded Projects Officer is a key member of project teams with the purpose of aiding the successful delivery of projects. They will:
• Support the creation of realistic project budgets which both inform internal decision making and contribute to the success of applications for funding.
• Monitor income and expenditure against approved budgets, highlight risks and implications, and thereby help to ensure the Trust remains in a healthy financial position.
• Maximise grant income for the Trust through organised grant claims, maintenance of good funder relations and effective negotiations.
• Report on restricted income within projects, feeding into budgets, forecasts, and year end to ensure internal and external requirements are delivered.
• This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required no more than twice a month on average.

I take on case work within our remit on debt (including enhanced income maximisation), welfare benefits, mental health and financial capability issues. I develop my knowledge and experience of mental health and social care to set my advice in a meaningful context. I help clients identify the barriers that are hindering progress in dealing with their money worries and I provide help, support and advice to overcome these barriers.

The role is to support the delivery of a range of fundraising products, including virtual events, to achieve net income targets, and providing excellent supporter care and stewardship, to drive engagement and retention of supporters.
The successful postholder will support the Fundraising Products Manager with the planning, delivery and development of products and virtual events, and work with wider teams such as digital, events and marketing teams to monitor and report on overall performance of investments and develop effective marketing engagement pieces. There are a few virtual events coming up early next year which they would like the successful person to assist with to help facilitate and put processes and plans in place. You will be experienced in fundraising (supporter care, products, community, or events fundraising) and a confident communicator, particularly skilled in writing, as there is a fair amount of work that requires strong writing skills, in terms of drafting templates and managing supporter stories. The role would suit someone who has been working in a fundraising role for a while who is looking to develop their careers in fundraising to a more senior level. You will be forward thinking, able to connect the dots and be proactive in cross team working and seeing the big picture for the upcoming events.

As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager, you'll be the driving force behind delivering our ambitious fundraising targets in this area, maximising opportunities, working with a range of agencies, stakeholders and your team to deliver our outsourced face to face acquisition programme in the UK, ensuring its success day to day.
You don't need to have worked specifically in the Face-to-Face Fundraising space previously, but you will need to come with experience of managing multiple agency relationships as well as strong stakeholder management skills.

What will I be doing?
Deliver a face to face fundraising acquisition programme via outsourced partners, in line with agreed strategy and targets.

Establish, develop and maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers and partners, proactively looking for opportunities to optimise our partnership with outsourced partners, for the benefit of the organisation.
Lead on the troubleshooting of day to day campaign delivery challenges, acting swiftly to implement workable solutions and ways forward, working closely with the F2F Manager - Outsourced Partners, Individual Giving Operations team, and the relevant stakeholders in order to do so.
Ensure all operational aspects of campaigns from planning through to execution and analysis are in place and as efficient as possible, putting processes in place to ensure the effective management of campaigns, working with the Individual Giving Operations team and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.

What are you looking for?

The Brand and Content Team manages content production for departments across the organisation, whilst also creating content to meet our own strategic goals. You’ll play a key role in this by shaping the creative and strategic direction of content to meet the needs of organisation wide activity, identifying content development opportunities, producing engaging copy and ensuring our brand is consistently represented.
You’ll work closely with colleagues in the team and be a point of support for colleagues around the organisation, to ensure effective production of relevant and engaging copy and content that works.
The main duties and responsibilities include:

The role will manage the Donor Acquisition Fundraiser and In-Memory Fundraiser and be responsible for the overall delivery of our individual giving strategy.
As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.

This a unique and exciting opportunity to join Cranstoun’s domestic abuse team to deliver our specialist intervention, Men and Masculinities Programme, in London. Men and Masculinities is a behavioural change programme for those who perpetrate abusive behaviours in their relationships.
We are looking for motivated practitioners who either have experience of working within Domestic Abuse or a similar related area and would like to develop their transferrable skills. The NSPCC is delivering our Letting the Future In service within The Lighthouse in Camden, the UK’s first Child House. This multi-disciplinary innovative service provides physical and emotional health assessment, criminal justice and advocacy support and a range of therapeutic interventions to children and young people, following the disclosure of sexual abuse.

Main duties and responsibilities
·Provide direct services (on an individual or group work basis) for children, their families, carers and adults maintaining professional practice standards as outlined in legislation, guidance and consistent with NSPCC practice standards and guidance.
·Hold case accountability for a number of cases most of which will be complex, ensuring all safeguarding practice and case recording conforms to NSPCC practice standards and guidance. Provide professional advice to internal and external enquires.
·Liaise and work positively with partner agencies and respectfully challenge where necessary in order to promote the best interest of children.
·Involve service users in planning, decision making and evaluation and promote the participation of Children and Young People.
·Plan and deliver services and contribute to their evaluation and ensure that issues of diversity and inclusion are identified and addressed in accordance with equal opportunity practices.
·Develop and maintain professional relationships and work in partnership with other agencies in order to deliver effective services and attend a range of internal and external meetings as required.

Person specification
1. A recognised social work qualification and registration with the relevant social care county within the UK.
2. Experience of direct prevention work with children and their families and proven ability in identifying risk and initiating child protection interventions, informed by a good knowledge of best practice, research and legislation.
3. Experience and proven ability of working in a way that reflects a child centered approach and an understanding of children’s rights, participation, needs, best interests and safeguarding practice.
4. Ability to plan appropriate direct work and evaluate effectiveness.
5. Evidence of an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships including with other child protection agencies and supporters and experience of effective multi-agency working.

The Energy Neighbours Project Manager leads and manages the Energy Neighbours project, managing all staff and contracts that are part of this new project, starting in February 2025.

Third Sector Leaders Kirklees has received more than £900,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, to empower local people to take individual and collective climate action and reduce fuel poverty in their community.
The Energy Neighbours project has a clear community capacity-building approach, aiming to work inclusively with communities and community organisations, listening to local priorities, experimenting and learning together, being transparent and accountable and sharing decision-making.

Oaklands & St Kilda is a pair of 6 unit supported accommodation mental health rehab services working with young people between the ages of 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health related hospital admission to gain and develop skills for future independent living. The service will support individuals transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.
The service forms part of a pair of services supporting up to 12 individuals at any one time across the sites, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for young people across London on a spot purchase basis.
Support workers will manage a number of young people to help them to identify, plan and achieve their goals, develop relationships meaningful to them and achieve greater independence by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package.
This is a Waking Night role working to support young people throughout the night at the service.
This role consists of three weekly shifts from 22:00 to 08:00, with double cover for each shift.
