About the role
This role drives significant growth in awareness and engagement on our digital platforms through storytelling and campaign management.
You will use your digital marketing knowledge to increase the reach of the two charities’ brands, building donor awareness through optimised digital advertising (paid social, Google ad grants etc).
As a primary stakeholder in our social media strategy, you will understand what makes a good story; bringing our fundraising, brand and services to life.
About you
You'll be data-driven with a deep understanding of paid social media, Google Search, CPC, SEO. You will optimise campaigns by leveraging analytics and be able to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the charity using reporting platforms such as PowerBI. Excellent written communication skills are essential for effectively sharing insights.

- Develop and oversee food strategy for Pecan’s food services, implementing the vision to end the need for food banks, re‑imagining the food services offer and including a cash-first approach.
- Develop and manage partnerships with authorities, corporates, churches, community groups and networks to support the successful development of programmes.

Principle Accountabilities
- Support financial control and manage risk.

About you
The Finance and Support Services Manager will be a highly skilled professional with a strong background in financial management, risk control, and compliance. They will ensure adherence to the organisational Financial Framework, including implementing financial management and controls, planning and budgeting, monitoring and audits, and maintaining financial records. The manager will also ensure compliance with local regulations and governance requirements.
The ideal candidate will support and strengthen financial management, accountability, and capacities of partners, fostering collaboration between finance and programme teams for joint project/programme reviews, planning, and analysis. They will develop and provide grant management support for both restricted and unrestricted funding, and ensure proper financial monitoring of projects, including auditing of funds.
Jobholder Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant professional accounting qualification or a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or relevant volunteering or work experience.
- Demonstratable working experience, ideally in an INGO environment, but experience in audit and government organisations would also be advantageous.
- Experience in financial management, programme and project management, and administration.
- Project financial management and data analysis skills.
- Ability to represent Sightsavers with key external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel, MS Word, an accounting package, and emailing.
- Ability to understand and work with project budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Knowledge of SYCEBNL.
Desirable:
- Speaking French would be desirable.
- Experience in supporting financial control and managing risk.

Who will I be changing the lives of?

- Deliver quality on-site youth work to help all our young people overcome multiple complex educational barriers.

The Trust Manager will lead on I Choose Freedoms’ fundraising from trusts and foundations, corporates and other sources of income. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development work of Dogs for Good, and is an interesting and varied role, working closely with the Research & Development Manager and members of the training department teams, as well as external collaborators. The Development Officer supports the inclusion of research and evaluation into the development of all projects as well as current services to enable an evidence-based approach to service delivery and development. Here the role involves assisting with the evaluation of current services, gathering and analysing data to assess effectiveness, and contributing to the creation of new initiatives. The Development Officer may also research potential new development opportunities and services, which may involve collaboration with other organisations.
In addition to the research component, the Development Officer can be involved in practical trialling and testing of new ideas, which can mean working hands-on with dogs, volunteers, and clients who have a range of needs. These projects may be based around any of the services currently offered by Dogs for Good. The role may also assist in training and supporting staff to deliver new projects, as well as supporting them in applying research findings and evidence-based practice.
Applications will be considered from people who are able to demonstrate research experience including data collection and analysis, as well as experience working with people with varying needs, showing a commitment to a person-centred approach. Ideally applicants will also have some practical dog training and handling experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the field of Assistance Dogs and Animal Assisted Services. Personally, the successful candidate will be creative, keen to learn and challenge their own thinking, analytical, self-disciplined and have a flexible approach. They must be a strong team player, demonstrate good people skills, and enjoy a varied role.
The role can be home based, ideally within an hour’s travel to our Banbury centre, and available to attend on average once a week. The role will also involve regular travel to other project locations.
Accompanying dogs in the charity’s vehicles is part of the job, so a full driving licence is preferred but, where applicable, we will work with the chosen candidate to find alternative solutions where reasonable adjustments are required.
Dogs for Good have a generous contributory pension scheme, death in service benefit and an income protection plan, after a qualifying period. Employees are entitled to 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank Holidays), which increases with every five years’ service completed up to a maximum of 31 days holiday after 20 years’ service. The Role
FARA is looking to launch the charity’s new Individual Giving programme and is looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead the creation and launch of this.
It is an exciting time for the charity, which helps disadvantaged children, young people, adults and their families in Romania. Building on the initial income opportunities and strategy development work done by fundraising consultants, you will be joining a marketing function with ambitious plans to transform their communications. You will work alongside colleagues across the whole organisation to deliver this work and will have the support of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the CEO and additional support from Nova Fundraising who have already been working with the charity on a consultancy basis.
The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for:
- Creating systems, structures, activities and messages designed to launch and grow individual giving with an ambition to take the charity’s fundraising income to six figures over three years.
- Using data to inform Individual Giving campaigns, creating powerful messaging to acquire, retain and upgrade donors through digital and offline methods.
- Brief and oversee the work of external agencies, as required, to support the recruitment and engagement of new supporters.
- Oversee and implement stewardship plans and supporter journeys for financial donors, who work alongside those of other supporters to ensure optimum message integration and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Work with colleagues to generate and implement FARA’s email stewardship programme for individual givers.
- Plan, schedule and manage personalised communications with donors.
- Explore other fundraising areas, including events, community, legacy and major donors.
The Person
Are you entrepreneurial, innovative, personable, and collaborative, with experience developing and delivering fundraising programmes?
The role requires a candidate with a strong background in building relationships and identifying and developing new fundraising messages, campaigns and activities from scratch.
This is not a case of picking up a mature programme and running with it (although the organisation does have a small baseline of donors who have been giving for many years). The opportunity is all about creating, testing and learning – to diversify income sources at FARA, utilising the extensive network of supporters it has gained through its 40 charity shops across London.
You will need to be proficient in digital platforms, with experience in building a digital-focused approach to supporter acquisition and donor development. You will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individual supporters to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and adults in Romania.
The post-holder will have previous experience in fundraising, ideally experience specifically within IG, however this is not essential and we will consider candidates looking to transition into a new area of fundraising. You will need experience of developing creative fundraising programmes and be excited by the prospect of pursuing new opportunities for the organisation by engaging with existing supporters—many of whom might only have ‘gifted’ the charity via donations of pre-loved clothes and other items to FARA shops.
