Context and Background
The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children in the UK. To carry out its charitable work
and achieve its strategic objectives, the NSPCC must communicate efficiently and effectively
with the maximum possible impact, relevance, and emotional resonance. Communications
need to engage all key audiences including supporters, professionals, service users,
volunteers, and the public across a variety of offline and online channels (paid, owned, and
earned).
The NSPCC’s Brand and Content team create compelling, relevant content for our
audiences. Informed by channel and creative expertise, the team are focussed on delivering
practical advice and support to keep children safe.
The Creative team sit within Brand and Content, providing a range of services, advice and
creative expertise for the wider organisation related to campaigns, services, social media,
copywriting, web content, and organic social.
The Creative Team’s focus is to:
• lead the development of the organisation’s brand and content strategy and creative
execution.
• tell a clear and inspiring story of what we do and the impact we have
as a charity
• develop, deliver, and optimise content for our audiences across all channels – paid,
earned and owned.
Reporting to the Creative Director and supporting the rest of the Creative team,
stakeholders and commissioners, you will ensure our video content is relevant, engaging
and tailored to audience and channel.Job purpose
This role will deliver video content across a variety of briefs, advising and working closely
with teams across the organisation. The postholder will work alongside other creatives
(copy, production, design, organic social, web content) to ensure best-practice video
creative, working to budget and schedule, suitable to channel.
This will involve deploying a combination of hands-on creative skills (shoot / edit / simple
motion graphics) and commissioning external video production.
Key relationships - Internal
• Reports to the Creative Director, Brand and Content (Creative).
• Works closely with the Creative Director, Film and Photography Producer, Creative team,
Organic social and Web content
• Works collaboratively with all teams across the organisation who are responsible for
developing video propositions and content, to ensure creative excellence.

• This role briefs and collaborates with external agencies, freelancers, and contributors.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Creating or commissioning video/animation/gifs/motion graphics in response to a variety
of briefs.
• An understanding of the difference audiences, content and platforms for both the NSPCC
and Childline and ability to work across both
• Collaborating with Brand and Content team and other stakeholders to develop effective
and engaging video content
• Interpreting briefs and requests applying creativity to meet audience and channels
objectives
• Understanding established and emerging social trends
• Supporting and developing skills, process and workflows
• Sharing knowledge with peers, stakeholders and commissioners about what makes video
content effective and engaging.

children, including securing updates on project and service developments and general

Person specification
• Experience in hands-on creation of video assets, especially for social channels
• Comfortable using the Adobe CC suite (some combination of Premiere, After Effects,
Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar.
• Practical photography and shooting (DSLR / phone / similar) skills preferable.
• Experience working with and commissioning external video production.
• Experience working with budgets and scheduling.
• Ability to translate objectives and audience insight from a brief into strong video content.

Community Coffee Shop Supervisor, to serve customers and maintain high standards in SCT x Paper and Cup.
Role and responsibilities
- Greet Customers in a warm, friendly and welcoming manner

Fundraising

* You will build a network of donors and volunteer supporters and influencers within the local community to generate income and raise our profile

Communications and Operations
* Lead systems and processes across fundraising, including due diligence processes and donor management

Primary job functions and key accountabilities
- Representing the sector and wider Association at meetings, conferences, exhibitions etc. and making presentations on the work of the Association and the interests of members.
- Ensuring the effective working of the sector forum, including organising and taking minutes of the Biogas forum meetings (held at least quarterly) and Steering Groups for Biogas and separately Hydrogen and landfill gas.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, other forums and, where appropriate, other stakeholders to strengthen the sector’s influence. This includes working on industry-wide campaigns.
- Line management of team member working within the Heat & Cooling pillar of the policy team.
- Driving member retention and recruitment. Developing and implementing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones as well as other revenue-generating activities.

Surrounded by 12 acres of beautiful woodland garden St Joseph's hospice cares for around 200 patients, and their families, every year from across a diverse geographical area, which includes Sefton, Liverpool and West Lancashire.
It is one of the oldest hospices in the country, for over 50 years the hospice has been passionate about providing high-quality, professional nursing care within a peaceful, home from home environment.
"My father-in-law spent the last few weeks of his life there and the care he and his family received was second to none. Being perfectly honest when my turn comes if I am not lucky enough to die peacefully in my sleep then this is where I would want to be.".
All of the invaluable services the hospice provides, which include bereavement services, are entirely free of charge to patients and their families despite costing around £10k per day to run, so the hospice is largely dependent on fundraised income.
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Community & Events Fundraiser to join the ambitious and dedicated Fundraising Team at the hospice.
The Role
As a Community & Events Fundraiser you will be responsible for developing and implementing a programme of vibrant, commercially successful fundraising events. Duties will include:
- Managing community fundraising and building relationships with donors to maximise income.
- Recruiting and managing the Fundraising volunteers.
- Supporting the Income & Business Development Manager in delivering the annual objectives and targets.
- Attending third party fundraising events to offer support and promote the hospice within the community
The Person
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have excellent people skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate others. Proven experience of fundraising and events would be desirable; however, we are keen to hear from people with transferable backgrounds including volunteering, business development, sales or account management.
You will have a creative and proactive approach to all areas of work, with the capability to successfully lead a team by example and collaborate with others. You will also have superb numeracy and planning skills with a flair for social media.

About the role:
This role is based in Harrogate, supporting victims living in the North Yorkshire area
As an IVA you will:
- Work directly with adults and children who have been impacted by crime, assessing support needs and completing risk assessments, providing immediate and ongoing support and advocacy including home visits
- Provide information to the victim about their rights as outlined in the Victim's Code of Practice
- Explain processes and act as single point of contact throughout the victims journey in the criminal justice system

About the role:
As a Caseworker, you will play a vital role in providing high quality, end-to-end support to victims of anti-social behaviour to cope and recover. You will be responsible for establishing contact with the person to assess the impact of the anti-social behaviour and provide them with appropriate information and support. As the needs and experiences of our clients are wide-ranging, the support you will provide will range from brief interventions over the telephone to longer term 1:1 and telephone based support.

About the role

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in hospitals across Hertfordshire.
This is a new dual diagnosis arm of the project based at Lister Hospital working in A&E departments and hospital wards facilitating hospital discharge for people with a mental health and/or drugs and alcohol need.
About the Role:
The Bounce Back Worker will be based at Lister Hospital and HMN Centres, promoting joint working between Lister Hospital staff and HMN, creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.
The aims of the Bounce Back service are; to provide up to 16 sessions of emotional and practical support, advice and information to patients. We will visit patients on the ward and continue the sessions in the local community and in patients homes once discharged. We will facilitate a smooth and timely hospital discharge.
The Bounce Back Worker will work with the HMN Community Outreach Teams and the hospital staff to ensure patients are offered advice, information, and holistic support. The Bounce Back worker will use a recovery orientated approach working with patients on the ward, and in the local community, including in people’s homes. The recovery approach includes empathy, warmth, acceptance, authenticity, compassion and humanity.
Key Responsibilities
- To receive referrals from the ward teams at Lister Hospital and other appropriate hospitals across Hertfordshire.
- To manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service.
- To build strong relationships with staff at Lister Hospital and Mental Health Teams across Hertfordshire.
- To work in partnership with other agencies.
- To establish a strong presence on the ward, working at the hospital when required.
- Ensure a direct community service is in place which encourages, motivates and builds patients self-esteem and confidence. This will include goal setting and support with social and practical skills development.
- To assist patients to access appropriate services and community resources within the local community, accompanying patients to attend appointments where this aids ongoing recovery.
- To work with key staff within the hospital to ensure that vulnerable person’s cases are monitored and risks evaluated.
- To work with HMN staff in other services in order to make onward referrals to other projects.
- Liaise with appropriate HPFT staff to ensure that individuals are assessed for personal budgets to support with any longer term needs.
- Support individuals to develop sustainable local social networks, both through our HMN Wellbeing Centres and other community services and resources.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months from start date
Hours: 1x 35 hours per week and 1x 17.5 hours

About the role:
The Diversion programme began as a two-year pilot programme launched in July 2019 and funded by MOPAC (Mayor’s Office for Policing & Crime). The aim was to drive multi-agency working between the police, Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) service providers and other statutory partners and was part of a wider programme of work to develop a whole system approach to identifying and addressing the needs of women involved in the criminal justice system in London. The Diversion programme integrates a short-term, holistic package of support for women with an out of court disposal, to improve outcomes for the woman and offer Police officers a robust alternative pathway other than prosecution.
We have recently been awarded funding from Portsmouth City Council to deliver a 12-month pilot of the Diversion Programme in Portsmouth, to support those women of the PO1-PO6 area postcodes, who encounter the Police and as a result are then to be referred to the Diversion service rather than be prosecuted.

About You:
To be successful as Diversion Keyworker you will have an in-depth knowledge of issues facing women offenders and those at risk of offending; both in and out of the criminal justice system and the ability to see how violence against women and girls interlinks to women in the criminal justice system.
In short, you will have: proven practice of working with women experiencing issues related to offending (e.g. homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, mental health or other relevant work area) preferably within criminal justice setting. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of conducting needs and risk assessments and of risk management crisis management skills and an ability to cope in stressful situations. You will show forth your ability to manage a caseload and a top-quality skill set with prioritising and organising your own workload.
You will be a self-serving uniquely able to undertake working independently and at times be managed remotely. That said, you will have a proven record of collaborative and working partnership with relevant statutory and voluntary groups, demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain strong constructive working relationships.
