Key Responsibilities
- The purpose of this role is to lead the charities Lotteries and Raffles team which has the goal of generating and inspiring support from both new and existing supporters. This person will advance existing products and campaigns towards their full potential as well as develop new campaigns and activity that drive growth, retention and engagement. In doing so, they will act as a key support to the Executive Director of Individual Giving and Lotteries in ensuring that the department achieves its income generation goals.
- Develop a clear vision and strategy to deliver sustainable income growth within the prize led fundraising channel.
- Drive and oversee all day-to-day activity around lotteries and raffles, ensuring campaigns are effectively coordinated and that broader teams are enabled to support delivery.
- Proactively find ways to increase the impact of the Lottery and Raffle income streams by developing and testing new approaches to player recruitment, retention and engagement.
- Supported by the Executive Director of Individual Giving and Lotteries ensure compliance of the KSS lottery activities against the charities Gambling Commission license conditions
- Ensure that the operations of the entire income stream, including those delivered by external parties, adhere to guidance and legislation set out by associated regulatory bodies. This includes but is not limited to the Gambling Commission, Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator and Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practice guidelines.
Head of Lotteries and Raffles
The role of Head of Lotteries and Raffles is part of the management team within the Individual Giving and Lotteries directorate. This directorate plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our supporters and generating sustainable income for KSS. Our Lotteries have a combined income of £9 million per year, and the Head of Lotteries and Raffles will be responsible for ensuring the consistent growth of these lotteries, and to ensure that we provide engaging and safe fundraising avenue for our supporters.

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled communications practitioner to join our established Communications Team, supporting delivery of effective and impactful communications and marketing campaigns that raise awareness of CPSL Mind’s services and helps to grow our fundraising.
In particular, our new Communications and Engagement Officer will:
- Support in the delivery of CPSL Mind’s annual content and campaigns calendar to promote CPSL Mind’s services, raise awareness, and increase income generation.
- Start-to-finish development and distribution of CPSL Mind’s Internal Newsletter.
They will also work with the wider team to:

Role Overview:
This role will deliver a range of fundraising activities, creating a great supporter experience for our participants ensuring our supporters are at the heart of everything we do.
You will project manage fundraising activity and volunteer journeys from beginning to end, delivering them on time and in line with annual plans and budget. You will analyse and produce evaluation reports reporting against budget, interpreting these results to inform the future planning of fundraising activities.
You will possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with our supporters across a range of channels including mail, e-mail, telephone, face-to-face, and online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising plan in accordance with the Fundraising strategy.
- Expand our team of volunteers and establish Local Fundraising Groups to raise funds in their community.

The International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is Nepal’s longest serving international NGO with over seven decades of experience working with Nepal’s poorest and most disadvantaged people and communities.
Nepal is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world. After a decade of peace following the 1996 to 2006 civil war, the country was hit by several generation-defining events. In 2015, a catastrophic earthquake killed nearly 9,000 people and then the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic took its toll on the nation, amplifying challenges such as social exclusion, limited access to basic services, and weakening economic growth.
Its people have worked hard and achieved much to reduce poverty in Nepal. Twenty years ago, nearly every other family lived in extreme poverty, earning less than $1.25 a day. Although this number has halved, today there are still one in four families living in extreme poverty. This is why Nepal and its people need further help in the alleviation of poverty and suffering.
Today, INF in the UK is a forward-thinking and impactful organisation, raising funds and supporting programmes and projects initiated and delivered by our Nepali partners, addressing key needs in healthcare, disability, community resilience, education and emergency relief.

INF UK now seeks a CEO to lead a small and talented team and drive this process of transformational change. You will bring experience of senior leadership, international development, strategic planning, resource mobilisation, partnership building and financial oversight. This will be underpinned by a mature Christian faith and a passion to see Nepali people living dignified, hope-filled lives, free from poverty and suffering.

We are looking for both newly qualified and experienced friendly adult counsellors, dedicated to improving the mental health and emotional resilience of our community.
Our ideal candidate is commited to providing a high standard in their work, with a passion to supporting clients to help them on their journey towards positive mental health and who embed and share Beacon's values.
You will be delivering 1:1 counselling, face to face appintments and potentially remote and be able to work evening to meet the demand and needs of our clients, with a minimum delivery commitment of 15 client hours per week.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have previous experience in a customer services/administrative role

Possess a natural ability to engage with people on the phone or in person, and encourage trust and enthusiasm at the start of a supporter’s journey with the charity

Be able to work at a computer for significant periods of time, as well as acting as an effective and engaged team-player.

Have excellent computer skills – touch-type desirable, confident using a database, ensuring data input is clean and efficient.

Regular monitoring of a busy team inbox and responding to or forwarding on emails in a prompt and helpful manner, within agreed timescales

Have responsibility for the recording of donations and other financial data onto the database and handwritten ledger – ensuring accuracy at all times
