The Role

As our Marketing Co-ordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of our communication and our engagement, using your skills in:

• Marketing & Communication: Crafting and implementing dynamic marketing strategies, working directly with the CEO, and external digital and creative agencies
• Digital Marketing: Driving our digital marketing ambitions, and building engagement and reach within our social media presence and website management
• Content Creation: Developing compelling content that resonates with our community

• Skills: Proficiency in social media, SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools. You need to be amazing at what you do, comfortable running campaigns independently, working closely with external agencies, and able to report confidently on ROI and testing

About the role

This Senior Direct Marketing Executive position is within our acquisition team which is a fast-paced, dynamic, supportive team who bring in new donors across the Individual Giving portfolio. You’ll work alongside the Senior Direct Marketing Manager (Digital Acquisition) to lead on the following things:

With a constant curiosity for industry leading creative campaigns, you will inspire the team and share your knowledge and skills. You will build strong relationships with colleagues, agencies and suppliers. You must also be skilled at project managing multiple campaigns while maintaining a high level of drive and commitment.

You’ll have a key eye for detail and will be comfortable interpreting and analysing data to make decisions and be confident to take risks, run tests and ultimately push our fundraising to the next level.

• Essential digital expertise: You have experience working in a fundraising and / or a marketing environment with a technical grasp of digital marketing and developing digital supporter / customer journeys and engagement, working across key digital platforms like Meta Business Suite, other social media platforms, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
• Direct marketing knowledge: You will have a solid understanding of best practice in marketing communications. You will have experience in drawing up digital marketing plans. You will be familiar with delivering marketing results in a customer focused environment such as fundraising and be able to manage and analyse marketing campaigns, as well as being able to digest complex data and extract key insights to inform strategies and campaigns and are able to comminate these effectively with the wider team.
• Effective communicator: An expert in communicating digitally, you are audience led and supporter / customer centric and will be dedicated to providing the best experience to Shelter supporters to reach acquisition and financial targets. You will have experience and be able to demonstrate your copywriting skills. You are a storyteller.
• Results-driven: You are an ideas person and are results-driven with a keen interest in the fundraising market. You are excited by the prospect of working in an innovative team to improve Shelter’s fundraising offerings.

Our Individual Giving team sits within our successful, growing Income Generation directorate and consists of three programmes - Supporter Acquisition, Direct Dialogue and Supporter Retention and Development. We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Growth Marketing Manager to join the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and lead our acquisition and lead generation marketing activity.

Place of work: We welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in England & Wales. Travel to our London office will be required every 4-6 weeks for which travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with our expense policy.

About the opportunity

The Head of School Marketing will lead and deliver comprehensive, cross-organisational marketing initiatives that result in an increase in the number of schools partnering with Action Tutoring. This role will define, deliver and adapt marketing strategies that effectively communicate the charity's value proposition to schools, leading to increased interest and sales. The role will oversee all marketing activities to schools; lead and support school market research and analysis; utilise analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and will be accountable for both school marketing and the initial stages of the school sales funnel (converting qualified leads into booked sales calls with our programme department).

Key responsibilities 
 

• Strategic direction - set, adjust and operationalise a comprehensive cross-organisational school marketing strategy. 
• Lead qualification - develop and implement effective lead qualification processes to ensure that generated leads are nurtured and converted into opportunities that move down the funnel.
• Conversion strategies create and execute strategies that not only attract leads, but enhance conversion rates.
• Campaign management – Work alongside the Marketing Manager, their team, colleagues across the wider Marketing and Communications department and whole organisation to plan, implement, and oversee school marketing campaigns across various channels.
• Market Research and Analysis - Conduct regular market research to identify trends and opportunities, understand the competitive landscapes and analyse data to inform school marketing strategies and optimise campaign performance.

• Significant experience shaping and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to engage a range of audiences, with experience in B2B marketing ideally with schools. 
• Proficiency in lead generation and demand generation techniques and technical skills to engage a range of audiences.

We are seeking a Head of Development and Partnerships to join our Senior Management Team alongside the CEO, Head of Programmes and Head of Finance and Operations.

Key responsibilities

Communications

• Lead in the development of communication outputs across all aspects of the TSA’s work in support and information, research, fundraising and campaigning. This will include a major focus on filmed media and editing of short clips as well as building a library of case studies
• Lead in the development of an effective internal and external communications strategy. The strategy should provide direction on how communications pieces are created internally, as well as how communications are presented to different audiences
• Lead in ongoing content development for the TSA’s daily activities. This includes managing content creation for the website, social media platforms and monthly e-newsletter
• Have a major role in development of Scan, our twice-yearly physical magazine

Events

• Manage and oversee all aspects of TSA face-to-face events. Our events include the annual community event ‘Big Day’, and our annual event for adults mildly affected by TSC (called ‘Outlook’)

Essential

• 2-3 years’ experience in similar or equitable roles
• Proven background in managing and leading on events of all sizes, from very small (several attendees) to large (150+ attendees)
• Demonstrable experience in social media management and digital communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Confident in working independently and on your own initiative, as well as being very open to helping and working with others
• Confident in graphic design and editing (we currently use Canva for all materials)
• Experience of working with CRM databases (please note that we use Beacon)

● Lead on developing and delivering an annual fundraising strategy to support our ambitious plans for growth, securing a minimum of £250k per year from Trusts and Foundations, individual donors, fundraising events and campaigns, and corporate partnerships.

Person Specification:

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy Development

• Expand local support networks in both Sri Lanka and the UK.

Frazzled Cafe is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE, that provides a safe environment where people who are feeling frazzled and overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life can meet to talk and share their personal stories. 

We run our free meetings online every single day of the year for anyone who needs them, and anyone can book and be included to talk, share, listen and to feel heard.

We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence and brilliant communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.

The role will develop and implement Frazzled Cafe communications including managing inboxes and marketing via social media, printed materials, and newsletters. The Project and Support Administrative Officer will provide support to the CEO and Training and Programmes to plan and manage service delivery, support the recruitment, training and queries of volunteers, as well as provide day-to-day administrative support to enable the effective running of the Frazzled Cafe meetings and functions.

Frazzled Cafe runs meetings throughout the day, from early in the morning until late in the evening seven days a week – the Project Support and Administrative Officer will be responsible for scheduling these meetings and supporting our Facilitators when issues arise.

Please note that there may be some evening and weekend work expected when emergency tech or meeting issues arise. 

Main tasks:

Core Programme:

● Manage the delivery of all Frazzled Cafe meetings by being the main point of contact for day-to-day queries, managing the day to day running of core programmes, ensuring documents, schedules, records and systems are all up to date, and being on call to deal with any issues that arise.

● Respond to all public enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner

● Managing the Frazzled Cafe meetings schedule by arranging our meetings with volunteers and uploading them onto our booking website

● Design all pre- and post- volunteer meeting polls and ensure these are completed

● Hosting Ruby Wax public meetings with Ruby on Zoom

Volunteer Support:

● Support the Training and Programmes Manager in the recruitment, evaluation and training of volunteers

● Be confident in having constructive and difficult conversations via Zoom, phone and email with our stakeholders and volunteer network

● Ensure all volunteer records and training tracking is maintained and updated, and arranging training meetings

● Assess feedback forms from volunteers that may highlight problems or risks within meetings and manage these accordingly

● Support all volunteers in case of distress, queries, updates, problem solving and escalating queries to the Training and Programmes Manager when required

● Support and minute monthly volunteer meetings

Communications and Marketing:

• Manage and design social media content across Frazzled Cafe’s platforms
• Write copy for a weekly external newsletter and monthly internal bulletin
• Promote Frazzled Cafe via printed materials, social media and partner relationships

Data and internal operations:

● Manage and oversee all data collection from the core programme meetings, including analysis and presentation of results to CEO, Training and Programmes Manager and Trustees

Shared Responsibilities:

With the CEO and Training and Programmes Manager:

● Help with the development and implementation of the Frazzled Cafe strategy.

● Play a key role in the design and delivery of volunteer recruitment, training and support.

● Assist in the production of the Annual Report of the charity and other publications and publicity material.

● Represent the organisation at external meetings where appropriate.

As the Helping Rhino Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the charity’s fundraising goals through multiple income streams. There will be a focus on stewarding and growing the charity’s major donor database (both individual and corporate), delivery of successful engagement and fundraising events and producing creative online appeals. The role will also require the successful candidate to drive income from legacies and guide the Charity and Fundraising Administrator to deliver our community fundraising and every day giving targets.

The role will be supported by the CEO and the Charity and Fundraising Administrator.

This is a fantastic opportunity that would suit an individual with a proven track record of achieving ambitions fundraising targets and someone who will play a key role in the growth of Helping Rhinos over the next 5 years. We are looking for someone currently working in a similar role or someone who has experience of multi-stream fundraising and is ready to step up to deliver an initial target of £600k in year one, rising to £5m in 5 years.
