This includes engagement and consultation with key stakeholders including Office of Veteran Affairs, MoD, NHS England, devolved nations health services, Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force (including Associations and charities), Veterans Commissioners, other veteran-facing organisations aligned through the Cobseo Female Veterans Cluster Group and female veterans themselves.

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting an Arrivals and Social Support Worker to support to continuing and sustainable growth in our ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all people seeking asylum, and that the young people and families we work with have dignity and safety on arrival.
This Arrivals and Social Support Worker will work with young people and families to support them in their reunification and arrival to the UK. This legal casework is facilitated by our UK Legal Team and covers a range of geographic regions inside and outside of Europe, including responding to emerging crises such as working to support people fleeing Afghanistan, Ukraine, Sudan and Palestine.
Reunification and resettlement is a difficult process. This role will involve conducting pre-arrival needs assessments, preparing the family for the reunification, and supporting them after they arrive in the UK. The Arrivals and Social Support Worker will also help young people and families transition into their new life, by supporting them with the practical and emotional aspects of resettling in the UK. You will work with the family and professionals and act as a bridge into longer term services and support. This role will also provide social support on a case-by-case basis for others in vulnerable situations, including family members pre-arrival, as well as to those on our Young Leaders Programme. This is a challenging and extremely rewarding role for candidates with a good understanding of the challenges young people and refugees face on arrival to the UK.
We are looking for candidates with strong social support skills, as detailed in the Person Specification. Experience in a similar role would be welcome, but this could also be your first paid position in the charity sector, or you could be returning to work after time out. This position will have a dedicated training budget and you will be supported to grow and develop within your role.

About the role
The Donor Relations Officer is a key role within the Development Office at the University of London. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a best practice programme of stewardship, donor engagement and recognition for the University of London’s donors, ensuring sustainability and growth of the donor base. This work involves creating a rewarding donor experience and managing donor communications, organising high-level donor stewardship activities and coordinating fundraising activities to support the mission and goals of the University.
Who are we looking for?
You will come experienced in delivering a successful programme of stewardship, in the charity or higher education sectors, and a working knowledge and experience of handling confidential information. We need someone with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with high profile individuals, and thus excellent communication skills in terms of written and spoken English is needed. You will have excellent relationship management skills, including the ability to work closely and collegiately with colleagues as part of a team and across a wider organisation. Experience of building and managing mutually beneficial partnerships and networks, both internally and externally, to create opportunities for the University, is also sought. As is an ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels, demonstrating discretion and tact.

Specifically designed to support the cognitive needs of people living with dementia, My Life TV can be used by individuals and their families at home as well as in care homes. As Head of Marketing, you will lead on the implementation of marketing strategies that contribute to Care Home-facing activity as well as broader strategic plans. With ambitious growth targets, marketing activity will be focused around increasing channel subscribers and building long-term relationships with care homes.
Main responsibilities within the role will include:
· Creating a well-defined and focused marketing plan to enable the effective delivery of organisational vision and strategy for growth
· Effectively implementing all marketing activities, with a particular focus on executing B2B campaigns to encourage growth in care home subscriptions to My Life TV
· Ensuring brand proposition and positioning for My Life TV is clear, consistent and effective

This role will suit individuals with a blend of skills and experience including the ability to work both strategically and operationally within a small team with an entrepreneurial spirit. We'd love to hear from people with the following skills and experience:
· Multi-disciplinary marketing experience across a range of disciplines e.g. digital marketing, comms & PR, direct marketing etc. You don't have to be an expert in all - but understand how they work together to deliver a strategy
· Experience building a marketing strategy, and implementing the necessary systems and processes to enable its effective delivery
· A strong track record of delivering effective multi-channel campaigns, working to fixed timelines and budgets
· Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to write compelling copy for a range of different audiences - the care market, partner organisations in the dementia field, and the wider public
· Strong team player - able to work effectively within a small multi-disciplinary team
· Excellent IT skills, ideally including previous experience using sales CRM software
· Strong people skills, with an ability to relate positively to, and engage with a wide range of people
· Experience working alongside business development teams to make sure the marketing and sales processes are aligned
· Ideally you would have experience working in a B2B context, a start-up environment or in a similar context to the care sector

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Health Information to join us to provide strategic oversight and management of Cancer Research UK's (CRUK) health information to the public, covering cancer prevention, screening and diagnosis. The team is one of a number at CRUK that reviews and synthesises evidence, differing in terms of their audience focus and/or topic focus. The successful candidate will need to work closely with their peers to ensure that CRUK has the maximum impact across all their audiences to improve cancer outcomes.
About the team
The Health Information team work to inform and engage the public with information on cancer prevention, early diagnosis and screening. We do this using evidence and look for opportunities to reach those who need it most. We use our knowledge and communications expertise to guide and shape activity across the charity including policy, partnerships and fundraising.
What will I be doing?
Oversee the provision of high quality, accessible and evidence-based health information including maintaining a good understanding of best practice
Provide strategic direction for CRUK's health information priority topics to maximise impact across public facing channels including but not limited to health marketing, communications and partnerships
Act as a senior subject matter expert on health information and use of evidence, advising senior internal and external stakeholders (Executive Board, other charities, researchers)
Act as a senior media spokesperson and provide expert sign-off for health information content used in a range of external channels (including press and policy influencing)
Provide functional leadership to the health information team, ensuring that their time is prioritised effectively to focus on the areas of greatest impact - including balancing proactive workload and support for other teams.
Responsible for managing the team budgets to ensure activity and services are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Build effective relationships with other evidence teams and policy to minimise duplication of effort, ensure consistency of messaging, and maximise our impact on a range of topics in support of CRUK and PIC's wider influencing and engagement strategy
What skills are we looking for?

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Management:

Person Specification - Qualifications and Skills
-JNC Professionally qualified Youth Worker with Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, youth development, education) or equivalent practical experience.

Purpose of the Role
A key part of Chance to Shine’s Communications department, this role will have help to drive awareness of the charity – communicating our mission, vision and messages to key audiences.
Principal Responsibilities
The Communications Officer will support include the following areas:
- To offer support on a range of diverse projects and events to increase the profile and awareness of Chance to Shine
- To help with the planning, execution and analysis of communications and marketing campaigns throughout the year

Help us make churches more Single Friendly
Single Friendly Church Network encourages churches to welcome and value single people at every stage of life. We are experiencing an exciting new chapter where our work and influence is growing across a wide range of denominations. We want to reach more churches across the UK who could benefit from our resources and training, with the vision that all single Christians will be able to find a welcoming Single Friendly Church in their local area where they can flourish.
We achieved charitable status in 2023 and have a newly refined purpose and identity set out in a new website and other digital media (see for example our YouTube Channel and the promotional film ‘Inspiring Change’).
We now aim to expand our impact across the UK and deepen our engagement with churches from a wide range of Christian denominations, in accordance with our strategy.
Fundraising Consultancy Role
In order to achieve our objectives, we are seeking a Fundraising Consultant to develop and implement a strategy to:
- Diversify our funding base and raise new grants and donations to support our work;
- Raise specific funding to develop a small team of Regional Champions in the regions of the UK, working part-time to grow our network of Single Friendly Churches;
- Secure grant support to refresh our research in order to identify the issues facing single people in the Church and how ‘single friendly’ churches are across the UK.
The Fundraising Consultant will regularly engage with our UK based team and provide quarterly reports to our Trustees. Ideally the Consultant will have the necessary skills to process Gift Aid claims.
The target for funds raised within 12 months is £100K. This will require creativity and a range of initiatives, targeting different potential funding sources.
Person Spec:
- Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies for charities;
- Able to provide evidence of significant success in fundraising;
- Record of working collaboratively with teams;
- An understanding of Christian culture and the different Christian traditions;
