We are currently looking for a Media, PR & Digital Manager to join our team.
About the role
The Media, PR & Digital Manager leads and supports the delivery of flexible, cost-effective and class-leading media, marketing, and digital communications. This role ensures MSSC achieves its objectives across campaigns, fundraising and policy through targeted and effective profile building in the media and across multiple online platforms.
The post holder will manage media communications activities, delivered in-house or outsourced as appropriate, to meet the needs of MSSC while maintaining the charity’s image, values and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
Media & Public Relations
- Proactively explore national and regional opportunities for media coverage, establishing effective media links to raise the profile of the organisation.
- Lead and coordinate integrated media campaigns alongside digital marketing efforts for maximum impact and coverage.
- Support communication with MSSC’s internal and external stakeholders on sensitive media matters.
Marketing & Digital Communications
- Manage and coordinate the use of digital channels, including intranets, websites and social media.
- Lead the development and support of the DAMS (Marketing Hub) to facilitate effective brand and campaign management.
- Contribute to the production of high-quality, on-brand marketing materials, ensuring they meet deadlines and engage target audiences.
- Assist with website development and paid digital marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain MSSC’s social media channels and other digital communication platforms.
Requirements
- Degree graduate or equivalent and experience in a communications environment.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience in developing and maintaining good working relations with journalists and media specialists.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with good attention to detail.
- Understanding of principles of media, PR, social media and communications.

Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing
A minimum of two years managing social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked in.

Job purpose:
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and experienced Digital Marketing Executive with a passion for social media and marketing to join the Spread a Smile team.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will help to deliver our marketing strategies and day-to-day output across our digital platforms including social media, website and e-comms and our Smile TV online viewing channel for families.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Digital Acquisition Executive to join our growing Individual Giving Team within Public Fundraising at Prostate Cancer Research. This is a pivotal new role, offering huge potential to shape the future of IG at PCR and capitalise fully on our exciting growth trajectory.
The last 12 months have seen significant transformation within our IG fundraising, with our regular giving base more than trebling. Building on this momentum, and campaigns such as last year's successful prostate cancer screening petition and our increased campaigning and public relations footprint. We are committed to strong investment in supporter experience and a genuine relationship-based approach to fundraising, ensuring all our supporters feel valued and exceptionally well-cared for. Recent positive media opportunities have further underscored our potential for growth.
This role will be instrumental in driving continued expansion through digital channels, including paid social and email, with significant scope to identify and implement new, innovative, or novel acquisition strategies. You will be key to growing our supporter base and maximising their lifetime value through engaging digital stewardship and carefully crafted supporter journeys. Our ideal candidate would have the following:

With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

The charity’s mission is to make data work for nature. The Better Biodiversity Data (BBD+1) programme is a bold new step towards transforming how biodiversity data is managed, accessed and used to support conservation, planning and policy decisions in Scotland.
As the new Data and Digital Services Manager, you’ll play a vital role in implementing and supporting a new, shared biodiversity data system developed with and for Scotland’s biodiversity community. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you will:
• Work closely with local environmental records centres (LERCs), NGOs, recording groups, government agencies and developers
• Support system configuration and data migration activities
• Lead ongoing digital service delivery and user support
• Build strong relationships and drive user-focused development
• Contribute to the long-term sustainability of a nationally significant biodiversity data infrastructure
This role sits at the heart of an ambitious and funded project, based on the recommendations of the Scottish Biodiversity Information Forum (SBIF) Review and delivered in partnership with NatureScot and the Scottish Government.
About You
We’re looking for a confident digital services lead or data manager who is:
• Experienced in managing data systems or services in multi-stakeholder environments
• Skilled in data standards, integration and system support
• A great communicator, collaborator and problem-solver
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote role
• Passionate about using data to drive change in environmental or public sectors
Experience in biodiversity, conservation or not-for-profit sectors would be a bonus, but not essential.

As the Marketing Manager you will lead this charity’s individual donor engagement, acquisition, and retention, aligning with fundraising targets. This role is ideal for an experienced Marketing Manager who resonates with their mission. The role focuses on developing digital marketing and donor management systems, providing strategic oversight of external communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing: Develop and implement a ‘test and learn’ digital marketing strategy targeting individual donors. Manage the CRM system for tracking and profiling supporters. Lead digital marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Wider Marketing: Support broader marketing campaigns, establish media relationships, and promote digital and in-person events. Collaborate across teams to align digital marketing initiatives with organisational goals.
- Donor Engagement: Enhance donor engagement strategies to maximise retention and growth. Develop personalised communication plans and follow-up procedures.
- Content Strategy: Create and implement content strategies that align with their mission and resonate with the target audience. Oversee the development of digital and print materials.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using insights to optimise strategies.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in digital marketing and fundraising.
- Planning, organisational, and people skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, email marketing (Mailchimp), social media management, and data compliance (GDPR).
- Ability to craft emotionally resonant messaging and manage content calendars.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive marketing decisions.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
