As the Digital Marketing Officer, you will deliver digital marketing activity and traditional marketing activity for The Lullaby Trust.

This role will focus on developing our digital marketing and digital brand activity to achieve our organisational objectives, save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. This role will cultivate strong working relationships with all internal teams, to ensure that we are making digital marketing perform for all departments, to better our impact. Demonstrating commitment and enthusiasm for the sector, success in this role will require outstanding digital marketing experience focused on setting and achieving ambitious growth targets.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Fundraising and Marketing Officer with excellent communication skills to support our work at Young Carers Development Trust. This role will support the Charity Manager and CEO in delivering the business plan for the next 3 years, in particular fundraising growth and raising the profile of the charity.

Main purpose of this role:

The focus of this new role will be on digital fundraising and communications initiatives and raising the profile of the charity across the Thames Valley. Principal tasks and accountabilities:

Organising Campaigns and Events

Devise engaging digital awareness raising campaigns to appeal to wide range of new and existing supporters.

Create content showcasing all Headway Thames Valley services.

Plan, deliver and manage fundraising events & campaigns, both online/ virtual and offline – to generate funds and raise awareness of Headway Thames Valley’s work.

Create compelling cases for support for use on digital platforms.

Draft and manage e-newsletters and email communications to individual supporters.

Ensure consistent communications messaging across all platforms for all stakeholders.

Co-ordinate the production of fundraising and other information materials.

Identify opportunities to market new and existing events outside the existing supporter base, for instance, social media and local media.

Manage virtual fundraising events and projects within timeframe and budget.

Contribute to the long term development plans as part of the wider team.

• Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising and the team to create and implement a comprehensive Community Fundraising Strategy.
• Plan, organise, and execute a diverse range of fundraising events, including supporter dinners, challenge events like the Great North Run, charity walks, auctions, and community fairs.
• Expand local support networks in both Sri Lanka and the UK.

Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all fundraising activities, monitor income, and donor information on the charity database.
• Assist in developing and managing the new CRM system, including setting up and integrating a comprehensive database CRM platform and Mailchimp for effective donor communication and management.
• Ensure donor data is meticulously maintained, supporting the use of CRM tools to manage donor relationships effectively, including ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Contribute to the refinement and thorough documentation of new digital processes such as the Sponsor a Dog (SPAD) programme, ensuring clear guidelines and streamlined operations across all initiatives.

The digital landscape evolves rapidly and keeping abreast of changes is key for digital innovation at the DEC. We are seeking a Digital and Innovation Officer to support the Digital and Innovation Manager, in the varied areas of digital fundraising, performance and compliance, website development and innovation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in similar role, preferably in the charity sector. Key responsibilities include:

• Website Maintenance: General management of the website’s CMS (Drupal), embedding SEO, dealing with website backlogs, maintaining a high quality of sprint planning with suppliers, support website UX reviews and produce performance reports. 

• Digital Fundraising: Assist the quick execution of paid social, search and display advertising during an appeal. Help to launch ads quickly, reviewing and optimising performance. 

• Innovation: Support with innovation sprints, workshops and new product development. Explore the opportunities of AI within the organisation, supporting the development and project management of new products.

• Team Working and Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder awareness, providing proactive support

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Fundraising to join the St Vincent de Paul Society. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the sector and will be motivated by our Vincentian ethos of service and our focus on promoting the common good, as enshrined in Catholic Social Teaching. Our objective, which is the alleviation of poverty, can only be achieved with sustainable income and fundraising is a key part of our mixed funding portfolio. You will further develop our existing fundraising department to ensure that we are maximising our income potential.

The role demands the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines effectively. You must have experience of developing and deploying strategies to ensure a good return on investment. Your communication skills must be outstanding, motivating and directing both direct reports and front line staff, as well as providing information to trustees when required.

You will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with all departments.

Location = Hybrid; can work from home but there will be travel for meetings and site visits.

Salary = £70,000, rising to £72,000 after successful completion of probation period.

Your main responsibilities:

• Contribute to the executive leadership and management of the Society as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT).
• Represent and be accountable for the Fundraising department at SMT and Board level.
• Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to develop and support an integrated fundraising strategy to be approved by the CEO and Board of Trustees.
• Build relationships and network with potential major donors and corporate partners
• Oversee the co-ordination of fundraising across the Society, ensuring adherence to best practice and compliance with fundraising legislation.
• Lead on the development and direction of major fundraising campaigns.
• Submit an annual departmental income and expenditure budget and ensure fundraising targets are achieved.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
• Extensive senior management experience in fundraising 
• Experience of developing, managing, and delivering successful fundraising  strategies and campaigns
• Excellent understanding of best practice fundraising principles and their application 
• Organised, with an ability to prioritise and work to competing deadlines 
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and one to one

As the Helping Rhino Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the charity’s fundraising goals through multiple income streams. There will be a focus on stewarding and growing the charity’s major donor database (both individual and corporate), delivery of successful engagement and fundraising events and producing creative online appeals. The role will also require the successful candidate to drive income from legacies and guide the Charity and Fundraising Administrator to deliver our community fundraising and every day giving targets.

The role will be supported by the CEO and the Charity and Fundraising Administrator.

This is a fantastic opportunity that would suit an individual with a proven track record of achieving ambitions fundraising targets and someone who will play a key role in the growth of Helping Rhinos over the next 5 years. We are looking for someone currently working in a similar role or someone who has experience of multi-stream fundraising and is ready to step up to deliver an initial target of £600k in year one, rising to £5m in 5 years.
