Responsibilities of our Senior Individual Giving Officer (Acquisition):
- This role is crucial in delivering the charity’s Individual Giving programme, working across multiple communication channels to grow sustainable income for Cats Protection by recruiting new supporters across a range of products.
- This includes everything from making TV ads, working with Face-to-Face fundraisers, running our digital campaigns and much more– all of which feature cats at the heart, of course. You will need to work with both internal departments and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
About the Individual Giving Team:
- We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
- Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
- We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media
What we’re looking for in our Senior Individual Giving Officer (Acquisition):
- Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar role, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
- Experience in leading the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
- Experience in budget management, ideally with multiple income and expenditure items
- Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets, and measuring against KPIs
- Experience of at least some broad-based fundraising, such as Direct Mail, DRTV, telephone, digital or face-to-face fundraising

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to secure new corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.
Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team to drive Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking, prospecting, and stewardship. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) will be responsible for stewarding our supporters and donors, helping coordinate the Fundraising department activities and associated administrative duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Individual Giving Manager, Fundraiser (Individual Giving) and wider fundraising team to administer our donor support communication.
- Administering the individual giving fundraising programme with support from the wider team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key RABI stakeholders, partners and associated organisation as agreed by your line manager.
- Plan, execute and assistant in delivering national and large-scale fundraising activities.
- Thank all donors in a timely manner via e-mail and letters and keep accurate records.
- Ensure that the database CRM records for our supporters and donors are maintained and up to date.
- Develop and refine systems and processes to enhance donor experience and support.
- Responding to general enquiries from the RABI fundraising email address and the fundraising phoneline.
- Support the Individual Giving Manager and Fundraiser (Individual Giving) on the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns.
- Help plan and coordinate fundraising campaigns and initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Liaise across the charity fundraising collateral and support the wider teams in developing materials for community fundraising.
- Assist the Individual Giving Manager and Fundraiser (Individual Giving) in the oversight of the online RABI shop.
- Help create and develop a digital income strategy as part of the Fundraising Strategic Framework.
- Provide a first point of contact for individuals who are fundraising for RABI including sending out fundraising packs and providing fundraising guidance and advice.
- Help ensure that we comply with legal and compliance requirements including industry best practice, GDPR/PECR regulations and the CIOF code of Fundraising Practice.
GENERAL:
- Develop and maintain good working relationships and liaison with other members of RABI staff.
- Be a constructive member of the fundraising team and work cooperatively with other staff members.
- Take part and contribute to fundraising team meetings.

Direct Marketing Manager-Acquisition at the Disasters Emergency Committee delivers key direct marketing activities during appeals for major disasters. You will work with the Direct Marketing Manager-Retention to deliver a programme of supporter communications to feedback to donors on the impact of their donations and to retain their future support.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies,
- Implement the direct marketing strategies during each appeal with income maximisation and supporter acquisition as the key focus,
- Manage the capturing and analysis of results to ensure channel optimisation between appeals,
- Lead the benchmarking process of DEC Member Agency fundraising performance.
The role will deliver responsibilities for strategy and planning, fundraising, networking and building relationships.
You must have strong direct marketing experience with a focus on high volume donor acquisition. Demonstrable knowledge of offline marketing techniques in press, outdoor, direct mail and telephone. A proven track record of developing effective digital and direct marketing strategies, which resulted in significant growth of income. Experience of managing complex budgets and proven ability to manage a complex operational plan within very short timeframes and within budget.
Ideally you will have experience of working in the international humanitarian aid sector, have used Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google analytics.
You must have excellent communication skills both written and spoken, with the ability to write compelling and emotive fundraising copy. Significant technical marketing expertise across a range of direct marketing channels. Excellent numeracy, budget development, planning and project management skills.
An ability to work under extreme pressure during appeals and to very tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail is a key driver for success in this role.

Job overview
The Digital and Content Manager is responsible for the development and execution of BeyondAutism’s digital strategy, ensuring all online content and campaigns support the organisation’s strategic goals. The role owns and manages all digital platforms, including the website, email marketing, paid advertising, and social media (Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), ensuring content is engaging, optimised, and aligned with BeyondAutism’s brand identity. About the role
Channel ownership and development
- Develop and execute a digital and content strategy that aligns with BeyondAutism’s overall marketing objectives.
- Actively manage and grow the website, social channels (Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), and email database, ensuring all content and contact lists are up to date.
- Own the technical maintenance and development of BeyondAutism websites (WordPress), working with external developers when required.

Support to Key Departments

Competence, Expertise and Knowledge:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, strategic communications, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in communications at a senior level, ideally in a mission-focused, charity or public sector organisation.

Role Overview
Around 75% of your time will be devoted to securing funding from trusts and foundations. This includes researching, identifying new opportunities and crafting compelling, tailored funding applications. The remaining time will be dedicated to building and nurturing relationships with new, lapsed and existing major donors and developing creative and engaging stewardship plans to inspire and secure high value gifts.
About you
This is a great role for someone with previous experience of both Trust Fundraising and Major Donor Fundraising. You’ll have excellent communication skills to enable you to quickly build solid, strong relationships both face to face and over the telephone. Excellent writing skills are essential as well as good organisational skills and CRM experience. In these challenging times you’ll need to channel your creative skills to develop exciting stewardship plans.
In this role you will need:
- Previous evidenced experience of securing donations from Trusts and Foundations, and Major Giving Fundraising experience
- Experience of producing outstanding, high quality, imaginative and compelling applications and reports
- Experience in prospecting for new business opportunities via multiple research channels

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be occasions when you will need to attend face-to-face meetings with, donors, your team, our partner agencies, or several team away-days each year. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with RABI to find their Individual Giving Officer. RABI offers a flexible working environment with hybrid working 2 days per week from their office in Oxford.
You be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of the fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
The Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of their recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage the relationship with week by week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.
• Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.
• Manage our newly appointed fundraising agency, and in doing so, help deliver an ambitious appeal programme and income target.
• Review and develop operational plans for individual giving (including regular giving, in memory, digital fundraising and appeals) working to achieve agreed targets.
• Communicate and document key performance indicators across individual giving appeals. Ensuring you provide commentary to accompany results reporting, drawing on insights and the wider picture to add context and make recommendations from your learnings.
• Work with the fundraising agency and RABI communications team to produce and edit appropriate collateral.
Person Specification:
• Experience of using direct marketing methods to recruit, retain and develop supporters (e.g. telemarketing).
• Previous direct marketing or transferrable experience. This should include project managing or assisting a project manager to plan and deliver activity and evaluate results.
• Planning, delivering and managing individual giving programmes.
• Delivering donor recruitment and retention projects from initiation to completion.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets from unrestricted donations.
• Presenting confidently to a variety of audiences.
• Building relationships and maximising engagement with donors and supporters.
• Able to create and tailor engaging and emotive copy for a range of different channels.
• A positive and creative approach to work, with the ability to multitask.
