About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team to provide administrative and event delivery support across all event and fundraising activities. This will include a wide range of support tasks pre-event, onsite and post-event for the BOA’s flagship event, BOA Annual Congress, and other educational, social and fundraising events, both face to face and virtual, delivered by the team. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive administration systems across the events and fundraising team, corresponding with members, Stakeholders, delegates, fundraisers etc, using the CRM database, updating event and fundraising content on the BOA website, and supporting content creation for social media.

Main purpose of the job
This role will support Bond’s portfolio of convening events. This role is to support Bond’s events function with the overall running of Bond and Bond working group events and to provide administrative and logistical support in the lead up to, during and after events.
We convene a diverse range of audience that goes beyond the Bond membership, so that Bond members and non-members can connect, share knowledge and maximise influence. Bond’s convening power and large reach mean that we can convene diverse audiences on several topics. The events function works across teams to support and lead on the delivery of different types of convening. This covers learning events, practical events and information sharing events, with differing audience sizes, and some events are for Bond members only and others are open to all. Delegates can include senior decision-makers in governance, fundraising, finance, human resources, procurement, programmes, effectiveness, monitoring, evaluation, policy, advocacy, campaigning, communications and marketing.
Main responsibilities
- Creating events in salesforce and uploading them to Bond’s website according to the organisations style guidelines
- To support all digital content of uploading and editing sessions and speakers on the Bond website
- To coordinate logistics for in-person, virtual, or hybrid events. This will include visiting venues in person as and when required and supporting with in person, virtual and hybrid events.
- To manage the events inbox and ensure all delegate and participant queries are responded to in a timely and efficient manner
- Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners
- Work with Events Adviser to support events delivery
- To manage all event-related tasks, including drafting event materials and communications (such as invitations and post-event emails), compiling post-event reports, collecting attendee feedback, tracking metrics, and updating the CRM (Salesforce) with attendance data. Additional responsibilities include managing registrations, gathering dietary and accessibility requirements, creating name badges, and ensuring presentations are correctly formatted.

The Role

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support INQUEST’s National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Unlocking the INQUEST archive: memorialising death and resistance. This project encourages engagement with the INQUEST archive and memorialises state-related death and resistance through creative outputs including: 12-month consultation, artist’s residency, banner making, small scale events, archival research, film screenings and a podcast series.
Organised, motivated by logistics, system-orientated, able to react efficiently to pressure, change and multitasking, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding communications skills necessary to liaising with a varied audience, including bereaved families and other key project stakeholders. They will be experienced in handling telephone calls, email correspondence, administration systems, and key IT software packages. Working closely with the project manager and project staff, they will support all components of our heritage project, including organising events and travel, liaising with key stakeholders, project social media and general administration. Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.
We are always working to provide resources to help, support and empower patients. Giving them the information they need to make better choices about their treatment, while working to identify and target specific unmet needs in the prostate cancer ecosystem, such as racial inequality and bone metastasis.

It’s been a successful couple of years for PCR’s Events & Community team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team, whilst refreshing our structure and roles to make priorities clear and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their jobs within our ambitious and supportive team.
We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship-building skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of this role is project managing PCR’s fundraising activities, including virtual and third-party challenges. This requires a proactive approach, an eagerness to learn and a readiness to get stuck in with a positive attitude, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past. You will work closely with the Virtual & Challenge Events Manager, existing Events & Community Officer/ Executives, and the whole team – sharing best practice, learnings and supporting each other to reach and exceed our shared goals.
This role will focus on virtual & challenge events activities but will get exposure to the full range of our events & community fundraising portfolio for your development and interest – and you will receive the training and support needed to succeed!
Key Responsibilities
Event management and delivery

Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on, keeping an eye on objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities to improve and maximise fundraising are seized.

Stewardship

Carry out regular stewardship tasks including content delivery, the management of stewardship tools (e.g. Mailchimp, GivePanel & Kudosity) and responding to supporter queries via all channels. Plenty of training on tools will be provided!

Collaborate with the team on the upkeep of supporter journeys, using feedback & data to spot opportunities for constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR and motivating them to raise more and remain loyal supporters.
Marketing and Recruitment

Work with the Events team managers and external marketing consultants to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation, making best efforts to hit acquisition targets for the fundraising activities you are working on.

Create & deliver marketing plans and assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our existing & target audiences.

With the support of team managers, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and Database

Manage stock fulfilment, sending merchandise to supporters and replenishing materials as required, ensuring high quality, good value and an appropriate & creative application of PCR’s brand.

Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required, including coding, database administration, paying invoices and tracking income & expenditure in logs.

Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations and PCR’s policies.

Take an active role in training & webinars to improve your knowledge of the database and compliance requirements.
Strategy and Development

The Opportunity
This is a rare opening to manage the RSA’s Archive housed in RSA House just off The Strand. Our Archive spans 2 strong rooms with hundreds of unique pieces of heritage from medals to paintings to fireplaces and sculptures and photographs. We’re looking for an expert Archivist to achieve greater impact by leading the professional management and care of the RSA’s extensive Archive. We need someone with proven experience in a similar archive role, who enjoys working autonomously and has a keen interest in Arts, Manufactures and Commerce artefacts. We are ambitious to digitise our Archive to ensure we engage new and wider audiences to bring the RSA’s exciting and diverse history to life.

About You
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Proven experience as an Archivist.
- Archives and Records Association (ARA) recognised qualification or equivalent.

Purpose of role
The International Board are seeking a senior International Fundraising Director with significant experience in major donor fundraising who will help drive the organisation’s fundraising strategy by strengthening and diversifying its fundraising sources. The Mission requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in international fundraising who will inspire our teams to differentiate and grow income as the organisation enters a new phase of strategic growth. The International Fundraising Director – with this focus on Major Donors - will provide leadership, oversight and guidance to the Mission’s national country fundraising directors - working with the International Director of Communication and Individual Fundraising and the wider fundraising team. They will work with major international donors and engage with field countries on targeted local fundraising and impact reporting.
As a strong communicator and strategic thinker with significant practical and direct fundraising experience, this Director will serve as a key member of the International Executive Team and report to the CEO and indirectly, the Mission Without Borders (MWB) International Board. They will have significant practical experience working with major donors, trusts and foundations, institutional and corporate fundraising.
Primary responsibilities
Donor development and outreach
· To provide strategic direction, leadership and drive for fundraising in all new development areas across the Mission. They will have direct responsibility for raising funds at the international level, leading cross organizational initiatives with a specific focus on major donors, trusts, and foundations - as this is currently an underdeveloped source of income for the Mission.
· Create coherent strategic plans for driving income growth, diversifying income sources and improving donor engagement, with a focus on major donors.
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures, particularly around major donors to ensure local and international consistency and compliance.
· Drive a relational fundraising culture by implementing systems and reporting to deliver effective supporter journeys with a focus on major donors.
· Lead in understanding of fundraising trends and working with wider fundraising team and national directors to improve agility in response to these trends.
· Understand and engage in program delivery needs and impact to ensure that donor and beneficiary journeys are linked and opportunities for major donor fundraising are deliverable.

Budgeting and reporting
· Have oversight of the annual and rolling five-year budgets for areas under responsibility to ensure local and international fundraising achieve overall strategic goals for income and related expenditure.
· Work closely with the CFO and CEO, Director of Individual Fundraising, and other senior executive personnel to drive annual planning and budgeting process.
· Drive consistency in restricted and unrestricted giving reporting.
Leadership and management
· Work with the International Executive team to drive Mission’s International Strategy.
· Collaborate and coach National Fundraising directors.
· Nurture team members in excellence in operational tasks as well as personal development, ensuring an engaged and fulfilled team.
· Participate in Mission events, training, and conferences to engage and inspire peers to drive strategic goals and ensure best practice.

Experience and Skills
· Relevant degree or equivalent in experience.

· Senior level experience as part of an international leadership team and managing international teams in complex environments.

Your responsibilities as the Head of Communications:
- Help position Power for Democracies as the "go to" evidence-based research and evaluation entity in the pro-democracy field with relevant stakeholders, donor groups, networks, institutions, and civil society spaces.
- Recruit and build the small communications team in charge of Power for Democracies’ communication and distribution formats, channels, and tools.
- Develop Power for Democracies' outreach and dissemination strategies (in close collaboration with the Knowledge + Research team) to gain meaningful attention from experts, the pro-democracy space, and donors alike.

Purpose of the job/About the role
The Supporter Care team is responsible for providing the highest level of customer care to everyone who interacts with and supports Dementia UK. As the Supporter Care Officer, you will help maintain and drive fundraising growth across various income streams. You will achieve this by ensuring the best possible supporter experience for all our donors and by proactively improving processes and ways of working to support this overarching responsibility.
Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, the Supporter Care Officer will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Dementia UK. You will respond to enquiries via post, email, and telephone, and will be responsible for thanking our supporters by adapting and personalising templates to deliver high-quality thank you letters.
You will also work closely with our database to maintain the quality of information available and assist with gift processing. This includes handling sensitive data, such as credit card information, confidently and securely. Additionally, you will support all teams across fundraising and assist the Supporter Care Manager in identifying processes that could be improved, ensuring our database accurately captures our income.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience delivering high standards of customer service over the telephone, with the ability to handle enquiries diplomatically and sensitively. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team, building relationships with both colleagues and supporters.

Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
We are seeking a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join our passionate and dedicated fundraising team. Your role will be pivotal in securing vital funds for the hospice by developing and maintaining meaningful, positive relationships with grant-making organisations and individual supporters. You will research and apply to appropriate trusts and foundations while leading the identification of new grant opportunities.
Hours of work: This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with the very occasional evening or weekend for Events.
Location of work: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based (an initial hospice-based period is required for onboarding and familiarisation with the team and our mission).
About the role
Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
· Clearly communicating the charity’s funding needs to potential funders through high-quality funding applications, face-to-face meetings, and other communications.
· Building strong, long-term relationships with funders through regular updates, written feedback, and networking opportunities.
· Conducting in-depth research to identify funding needs, particularly for core income, and collaborating with Rainbows care team leaders on funding requirements.
· Producing high-quality reports for funders to demonstrate the impact of their contributions and nurture ongoing support.

Requirements
· Experience: Proven success in trusts or major gift fundraising.
· Relationship Building: Skilled in developing relationships and securing funds from trusts, foundations, or individual donors.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
· Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail.
· Motivation: Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work independently.

The British Society for Immunology (BSI) is recruiting a Marketing & Communications Officer to deliver engaging communications to a variety of audiences to drive the reach and influence of the Society’s work.
This role is split equally between supporting activities of the BSI and those of our publishing portfolio. On the BSI side, you will support in the development and delivery our marketing and communications activity through a variety of channels. Activities can include promoting our membership offering to immunologists working in academia, industry and the clinical sector, promoting key activities such as our events or training offerings, and supporting initiatives to raise the importance and influence of immunology. On publishing, marketing activities will be focused on increasing submissions and readership of our official journals, Clinical & Experimental Immunology, Immunotherapy Advances and Discovery Immunology, in particular building the reputation of our newer Open Access journals.
This creative role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills and a passion for science, who is looking to build their expertise and experience working on impactful marketing and communications projects in an innovative charity.

This is a permanent role working 35 hours per 5-day week. However, the British Society for Immunology is currently participating in a 4-day week pilot, which sees staff work 32 hours over 4 days. This role will be eligible to opt in to participate in this pilot. The role is based remotely, with office space available in London two days a week. Occasional travel into London is required.
