We are seeking a part-time Head of Finance to join our Operational Leadership Team (OLT) for three days a week.
You will have a compassionate heart and be deeply motivated by your evangelical Christian faith, with a passion to serve your persecuted family in Christ.
You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to identify the level of internal and external resource that is required to develop a hybrid delivery model to operate financial management in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Your proven track record and experience of operational financial management will ensure the accurate delivery of this, as well as oversight of the day-to-day financial operations. Your clear communication skills and accounting qualifications, knowledge and experience will enable you to convey financial information in a practical and insightful way to a number of different audiences that have varying levels of financial understanding.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Gift Aid, Compliance and Fulfilment Manager to join our busy team on a fixed term contract. With your focus on the day-to-day management of our key supplier relationships, you’ll oversee multiple work streams and competing priorities across complex operations.
With support, you’ll also provide advice to all internal teams on Fundraising Compliance. You’ll understand when and how to dig deeper into risks and escalate as appropriate, acting as a key representative in this area across the charity.
You’ll oversee monthly gift aid claims, ensuring all processes from collection, storage and auditing are compliant and documented. This role is a great opportunity to work across multiple directorates. Your work will have a direct impact on our success and help us make a real difference.
In this role you’ll also line manage three people, working with them to excel in their role. They will support you in managing our key supplier relationships, managing our fundraising stock and having responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of our online shop. Elements of thanking our wonderful supporters also sits within your team.

You’ll have a track record in managing operations, experienced in developing processes, procedures and policies to help support charity wide activity, ensuring internal best practice guidance is created, maintained and shared.

About the role
This role is responsible for work at the heart of the organisation focussing on the equality, support and recognition of unpaid carers in society. Leading areas of work, devising campaigns, building policy and finding good practice is at the centre of the role, ensuring that we maintain our strong profile in Parliament and with Government. Over the 10 - 12 months you would be working on our major 60th anniversary programme, Carers Week, health and social care policy, key research and campaigns over that time period.
This role is responsible for maintaining our great reputation for our strong evidence-based research programme including delivering our renowned State of Caring survey, the first of its kind nationally and globally and which now has over 10 years of data.
Having a good eye for media and what is necessary to support our work is essential as is a strong close working relationship with the communications team.
This role is also responsible for carer engagement in our policy and public affairs work, whether it’s carers meeting Ministers, helping shape policy or practice, testing our research or helping tell their stories to increase understanding.

Quality Improvement Coordinator

The Quality Improvement Coordinator is a crucial role for the College as you will coordinate and project manage a range of activities within the QI team, including web portal upkeep, horizon scanning of QI and patient safety activity in paediatrics and child health as well as providing QI support for RCPCH members and QI event coordination.
As Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will take the lead on the upkeep, revisions, growth and promotion of the QI Central and Patient Safety Portal websites and other associated webpages, including liaising with content providers.
Reporting to the Head of Quality Improvement, you will carry out four-nations environment and horizon scanning of quality improvement and patient safety activity relevant to paediatrics and child health, whilst exploring opportunities to improve our QI offer using insights from data analytics associated with the Patient Safety Portal and QI Central platforms, and shared learning from other QI projects.
In addition you will manage and plan contact from members via email, web-portals, our community/time banking suite and social media platforms, whilst also identifying opportunities to promote QI and patient safety in child health through these communications channels.
With a good standard of education, you should have relevant project coordination skills and demonstrable experience in desk research, including internet and database searches.
You should have strong organisational skills and proven experience of delivering multiple objectives to high standards within short time frames and meeting multiple deadlines, along with good communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills as you will frequently liaise with members, senior officers and staff.
Your experience of design and production of digital communications and engagement resources in addition to your well-developed experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications will ensure you are capable of managing updates on our websites and social media platforms.

The Head of Museum Service oversees the integration of digital technologies to enhance the management, care, and public access to Gunnersbury’s collections and heritage assets. Working closely with the Senior Curator, you will ensure the highest standards in conservation, management, and interpretation of the museum collection and update relevant policies and emergency plans.
Managing and supporting the Formal Learning Manager to deliver educational programmes, and the Community Programmes Officer to foster partnerships that strengthen community engagement, you will collaborate with the fundraising team to secure grant funding and sponsorship opportunities. Ensuring compliance with national standards, such as ACE Accreditation, is also a key responsibility.
Internally, the Head of Museum Service will build strong relationships with senior colleagues to support the overall management of the Museum and Park, ensuring Gunnersbury is well maintained and operates efficiently.
You will lead the curatorial team in procuring and managing external consultants and contractors to uphold high collection management standards and establish a robust system for impact assessment and key performance indicators (KPIs), culminating in an annual Impact Report for the museum service.
Externally, this role is central to developing strategic partnerships at regional and national levels to expand the museum’s reach and impact. As Head of Museum Service, you will closely collaborate with the Head of Estates and Major Projects to ensure a safe and high-quality visitor experience throughout the various exhibits and collections. Working with marketing and communications teams, you will work to engage priority audiences and build strong relationships with stakeholders through consultations and events.
In terms of general management, the Head of Museum Service is accountable for effectively managing budgets and pursuing income generation through grants and participatory programmes. The Community Engagement Department enables our student community leaders to gain the knowledge, skills and connections for themselves and their student communities to thrive.
Working with staff across the Community Engagement Department, the Training Coordinator works closely with the Training Manager to support staff to design and deliver high quality, impactful training for our 3000 student community leaders across 400+ student groups, 1000 student representatives, and our 6 full-time elected Student Officers, among other student communities.

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.
We are always working to provide resources to help, support and empower patients. Giving them the information they need to make better choices about their treatment, while working to identify and target specific unmet needs in the prostate cancer ecosystem, such as racial inequality and bone metastasis.
Our dedicated staff team is the key to our success, expanding the amount of research that we fund five times over in four years. PCR has been shortlisted for an Impact Prize and won the Change Project of the year award in 2023.
It’s been a successful couple of years for PCR’s Events & Community team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship-building skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of this role is project managing PCR’s fundraising activities, including virtual and third-party challenges.
