You will work in the School Support team alongside digital marketing, brand and press and public affairs colleagues. The team is responsible for reaching new teacher-audiences and helping them to make the most out of what Oak has to offer.

You will:
- Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager and Senior Digital Marketing Planner to deliver an editorial plan and content marketing strategy to meet our campaign objectives. This includes feeding into social media and email marketing strategies (organic and paid) for each campaign framework.
- Develop engaging online content, including videos, graphics, and blogs; write and edit copy in line with brand voice and core messaging; and, as a brand guardian, support colleagues in working effectively within our brand.
- Manage and monitor social media platforms, and support with delivery and analysis of email marketing.
- Work in cross-functional and product-oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation, as required
- As a member of the Oak Team, contribute to the wider success and culture of the organisation.

You will/should have:
- Experience in creating content marketing plans, with expertise across social media, web and email marketing platforms, management tools and reporting.
- Experience in community engagement or customer services - managing user queries and systems to monitor, escalate and respond.
- Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular, InDesign and PhotoShop - experienced at managing the production of on-brand graphic design elements.
- Able to write clear, concise and powerful communications for a range of different audiences across a number of channels, together with a creative flair to improve social media, email marketing and communications activity
- Experienced at managing multiple projects at any one time
- Desire to get stuck in, working across all areas, in an exciting, fast-paced team.
The role is full-time (36 hours) and we work a 4.5 day week or 9 day fortnight (alternate Fridays or half Fridays off). This is a predominantly remote role with occasional in-person events and activities.

Programme delivery
- Develop and deliver an annual programme of in-person and online events across London, Manchester, and Merseyside for Arts Emergency’s Young Community, volunteers and Network Members

- Provide event coordination support for Youth Collective activities, such as online meetings and residentials

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the North region. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the North region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including some overnight stays.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed.

The Role
Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Data Protection Adviser will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws. WECare’s Head of Fundraising is responsible for supporting the Fundraising team in their efforts to raise funds. We have lots of exciting projects and expansion in the pipeline. We need a Head of Fundraising who can come on this journey with us and help the charity grow whilst maintaining our core values and standards.
Who we are:
WECare Worldwide is a UK and Sri Lankan registered charity set up by veterinary surgeon Janey Lowes. Our mission is to provide international standard veterinary care for less fortunate animals around the world, starting in Sri Lanka. The WECare Team is made up of passionate, dedicated and brilliant individuals who know how to work hard and enjoy ourselves while we do it. We aim to change the outlook for street dogs worldwide, with 75% of the globe’s dog population going without access to healthcare. We want to plug that gap and provide them with a whole lot of love while we do it!
Key responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve organisational fundraising goals.

Design and establish fundraising structures, policies, and processes to streamline fundraising efforts and ensure compliance with regulations.

Identify new fundraising opportunities and innovative approaches to expand the donor base and increase revenue streams.
2. Donor Engagement and Relationship Management:
-
Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and potential supporters.
-
Implement strategies to enhance donor engagement and retention, including the development of stewardship programmes, and ensure ongoing engagement, retention, and the growth of regular givers.

Lead the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events, ensuring seamless logistics and maximising donor participation.

Research and identify potential grants and trust funders to diversify funding sources.
3. Communication and Outreach:
-
Create and distribute quarterly newsletters and appeal email campaigns to engage supporters and donors.

Develop and maintain relationships with current sponsors, partners, and key donors.

Oversee the 'Sponsor a Dog' programme, ensuring its effectiveness in donor engagement and revenue generation.

Optimise the new supporter journey and create promotional materials in line with current brand guidelines.

Identify, actively seek, and manage media opportunities, including TV, radio, and social media partnerships.

Secure support from UK/ Sri Lankan businesses and establish official partnerships where possible.
4. Fundraising Management:

Manage fundraising events, including securing sponsorship and maintaining strong relationships with venues and their staff.

Support WECare fundraisers with all needs associated with their efforts.

Develop grant applications and supporting documentation.

Manage the production of fundraising materials and advertisements.

Oversee the development of merchandise ranges and play a key role in the sales process.

ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a creative, engaging and resourceful Administrator who can support the Youth Engagement Team at Ocean Generation to deliver our brand of Ocean Intelligence to young people across the globe. The successful candidate will be instrumental in our aim to inspire thousands of young people to engage in Ocean action.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Admin:
• Supporting with the day-to-day tasks of the Youth Engagement Team, including managing the youth inbox, booking co-working space, sourcing and purchasing materials, generating certificates for participants, etc.
• Managing the team project plans via Monday and team events calendar to ensure the smooth running of all events.
• Building new contact lists for potential partnerships to widen our reach and maintaining current database.
• Supporting the Youth Engagement Lead in the training of Interns
• Improving current processes to be more streamlined and increase team productivity
Marketing and Promotion:
• Designing content on Canva to ensure that all Youth Engagement materials are up-to-date and on brand
• Updating content on websites and platforms when required
• Uploading Youth Engagement content to YouTube
Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Collating partner feedback through Typeform and Mentimeter to inform future developments of all Youth Engagement Programmes
• Assisting in impact tracking
Event Support:
• On the ground support assisting in the running of stalls and youth engagement activities at large scale events across the UK, engaging young people in fun and informative Ocean-themed activities and challenges
ABOUT OCEAN GENERATION:
Established in 2009 by film producer Jo Ruxton, we have galvanised a growing wave of change by exposing the threat of plastic pollution to our health and the health of our Ocean. Our award-winning documentary ‘A Plastic Ocean’, was named by Sir David Attenborough as “one of the most important films of our time” and ignited mass public awareness about the impact of plastic on our Ocean.
Today we address the full range of human actions threatening the Ocean with a particular focus on engaging young people.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
•Analytical: proven ability to improve systems and processes
•Microsoft whizz: advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Forms, etc.)
•Well organised and able to manage several tasks in a variety of projects simultaneously, keeping accurate notes and completing follow up actions
•Excellent communication skills: comfortable speaking in public, can quickly connect with people to establish positive relationships, presents information clearly
•Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, using own initiative, when necessary
•A passion for the natural world and our Ocean!
Desirable:
• Familiarity with Typeform, Mentimeter, Canva, Wordpress, Monday dot com
• Experience of working in remote or hybrid teams
Salary: £12,500 per annum (£25k pro rata)
Contract Type: This will be a part-time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with the possibility of extension). 2.5 days a week (to be worked Mondays to Thursdays – exact days to be determined with successful candidate)
