Cancer Research UK are implementing a 10-year growth plan for their trading operations. Our aim is to reach an income of £96 million over the 10 years, directly contributing £53 million to our life saving research. Currently we have circa 600 shops, 1 National Distribution Centres, 1 Regional Distribution Centre with plans for a further 6 to open over the next 5 years. As our trading operations expands so does our marketplace and eCommerce presence.
Within our National and Regional distribution centres there are two teams, our Warehouse team who sort clothes for our shops and our Marketplace team who sort, identify, value, photograph and list these items onto online marketplace platforms such as eBay, Depop and ASOS marketplace. We are looking for a confident, engaging, and adaptable eCommerce Operations Assistant Manager.
This is an operational role where you will be the go-to person on the Warehouse floor for the marketplace team, working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Manager to make sure the operation runs as efficiently as possible, ensuring KPIs are met and exceeded.

What will I be doing?
Managing the day-to-day activities and performance within the marketplace team ensuring KPIs are met.
Oversee daily operations, this includes product listings, inventory management, fulfilment, and customer service.
Support in the recruitment, development, and retention employees (including volunteers)
Managing the performance of the marketplace team including development conversations
Managing site rotas.
Support operational tasks when needed.
Support with the weekly communications to the field, update communications in line with operational needs.
Build and develop positive internal and external relationships to ensure maximum exposure for the operation.

You will be responsible for the implementation and day to day project management of the individual giving programme across our existing and new fundraising products, including our regular giving F2F activity, tribute funds and appeals programme. As part of a small individual giving team you will be working under the direction and authorisation of the Head of Individual Giving.
The Individual Giving team is responsible for income generation from individual supporters and members, using a range of direct marketing techniques via both online and offline channels. This is an exciting time of growth and opportunity for Mothers’ Union and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to take on this challenge and join our successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of Mothers’ Union’s fundraising strategy as defined by the annual Individual Giving fundraising budget and plan.
- To maintain professional standards whilst representing Mothers’ Union, ensuring both the reputation of the charity and adherence to our fundraising standards are maintained.
- To ensure good communication with F2F agencies, internal team members and the public by making sure that external communication channels are kept up to date.
- To be the primary point of contact for all supporter enquiries and complaints related to face to face fundraising.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Job Purpose

Working alongside colleagues across the Charity, the Supporter Acquisition Manager will play a key role in driving growth in new supporters and income, innovating, developing and delivering products and campaigns that inspire their audiences and underpinning the Charity’s work through growing sustainable income.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supported by the Head of Individual Giving and Legacy, and working with your team, you will drive the development and implementation of a multi-channel acquisition strategy. This will drive lead generation and acquisition of new supporters, growing the charity’s base of supporters, planning, testing and refining approaches to build a scalable programme which delivers volume whilst maximising long-term ROI.
• Identify opportunities to engage key audiences at moments that matter, such as inductions, promotions, training and development programmes, transfers, secondments and retirements, working in collaboration with colleagues and in partnership with external stakeholders to design and implement new approaches.
• Work with the appointed agency to develop a regular giving proposition that delivers a strong sense of community across supporters; valuing those who function as custodians of the nation and each other.
• Work with organisational processes and develop strong project governance to launch supporter acquisition activities across our product range, including but not limited to; Direct Mail, email, telemarketing, social & digital activity and events.
• Manage the Supporter Acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure budgets and forecasts are achieved with any critical variances being reported promptly.
• Working with the Supporter Engagement team develop and implement a cross-channel programme of regular impact stewardship for new donors designed to engage, retain and inspire future support, with a focus on payroll and direct debit donors.

Person Specification:
• Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful donor acquisition programmes across a range of marketing channels.
• Understanding of digital platforms and how to maximise them for the benefits of fundraising and supporter engagement.
• Understanding of fundraising performance metrics and KPIs, with experience of interpreting campaign analysis and supporter insight to drive continuous improvement.
• Understanding and experience of payroll giving and working with with Professional Fundraising Organisations and Payroll Giving Agencies.

For a large international organisation, we are recruiting an Interim Group FP&A Manager who will coordinate and produce consolidated financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. The Group FP&A Manager will contribute to planning activity and data across Finance, working closely with Regional Finance Directors to ensure consistency of all planning and forecasting. This role will report to the Director of Group Planning and Reporting and will lead, manage, and motivate a Financial Planning Analyst. This role is for a minimum of 6-months and could be extended.
Main Duties:
- Provide a financial planning, forecasting and management reporting service in the UK, Regions, and international business units across Group level.
- Deliver monthly MI reports
- Coordination and delivery of annual budget, quarterly forecasts and monthly re-forecasts
- Support multi-year planning
- Tracking and forecasting of financial KPIs
- Support the Director of Group Planning and Reporting in preparing reports for Exec on reporting and planning deliverables
- Lead continuous improvement of processes across monthly close, financial commentary and analysis and cash-flow forecasting
