As Media Manager you’ll be part of a busy, high-performing team responsible for the promotion of our work across a range of areas, including research, policy and campaigns, and fundraising. You’ll also play a key role in our busy press office, working with national and trade media to provide expert comment and information.
You will work collaboratively with teams across the UK, including all four nations, to create and deliver the most appropriate and impactful media stories to support our aims.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented, creative and dedicated marketing professional to join our small but powerful team to help deliver our new strategy.
As a new role in the hospice’s Fundraising & Marketing Team, the Marketing & Communications Manager will join an existing team of fundraising managers working to maximise awareness and support of the hospice in order to ensure its long-term sustainability.
The postholder will be responsible for the operational management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support the hospice’s income generation strategy, including line management of the Website Editor and Marketing & Communications Officer, and external agencies.
The successful candidate will be an experienced marketing professional, used to working closely with income generating teams. They will oversee the delivery of a compelling programme of multi-channel communications with the sole aim of increasing the awareness of and support for the charity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing and communications planning, delivery and performance management
- Working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, develop a clear marketing and communications plan to support the strategies for fundraising, retail and volunteering.
- Implement, monitor and analyse marketing and communications plans and budgets, producing impactful insights and reports to guide our ever-evolving work through all communication channels.
- Develop and maximise the marketing mix, identifying innovative initiatives and working across online and offline channels, to best support the promotion of all income generation activities across the hospice.
- Ensure compliance to industry standards and best practice at all times.
- Support the fundraising strategy in proactively researching and targeting audiences across the catchment area to ensure a broadening of reach and awareness of the breadth of the hospice’s services.
- Be forward facing and lead on engagement with clinical colleagues to promote the need for strong patient stories and effective storytelling to support fundraising.
- Ensure sufficient opportunities for collection of service user data to share news and promote activities.
- Proactively develop and streamline the long-term internal and external communications schedules across the charity.
- Lead on content creation, coordination and production of hospice marketing materials, protecting the reputation, brand and tone of Katharine House.
Operational delivery
- Lead on the writing and distribution of appropriate and engaging press releases, paid adverts, local village features and articles.
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Officer to oversee delivery of a planned (and reactive) social media programme, maximising opportunities to increase our profile, using online planning and Analytical tools to plan and report on digital channels to improve targeting and supporter journeys.
- Work closely with the Website Editor to oversee and optimise the KHH website: creating and updating content for the charity and clinical colleagues, including the EPiC Resource Centre.
- Work with the Website Editor and Supporter Care team to ensure that integration of the CRM (Beacon) and website is optimised, to maximise supporter journeys, supporter preference compliance and insights.
- Work together with relevant charity and clinical colleagues and our designer to prepare, design and deliver high-quality marketing materials.
- Work with the Marketing & Communications Officer to oversee the production of the monthly supporter e-newsletters.
- Alongside your immediate team, manage production of the bi-annual Katharine House magazine from start to finish, with content and thematic planning with fundraising and volunteering managers.
- Lead on content creation to use across the charity. Continue to manage and regularly update our library (filed, captioned, tagged) of patient, staff and volunteer stories with consent, quality photography and video content for use across all of income generation.
- Manage and oversee the charity’s online channels including website, ensuring accurate, up-to-date and engaging content, and ensure all online advertising (inc. paid social media adverts), Google AdWords grant and SEO are effectively managed.
- Liaise with clinical colleagues at our NHS partner OUH to support key marketing, messaging and communication needs, ensuring our brand is correctly used.
Leadership and people management
- Meet regularly with the Website Editor and Marketing & Communications Officer, fostering positive communication and engagement. Carry out monthly one-to-ones, setting quarterly objectives and recognising training needs where necessary.
- As a member of the management team, represent the culture and values of the hospice and charity sector.
- Manage the ongoing and changing priorities within the team, communicating and sharing progress and changes in a clear, timely manner. Promote collaborative working and its benefits across the organisation.
- Attend regular management meetings, contributing to team strategy and overall management/team needs.
- Act as a positive role model to the charity team and wider stakeholders.
- Actively manage the workload of our designer.
- Where necessary, manage poor performance as it happens and support staff to fulfil their role.
- Network and foster good relationships both internally and externally to the charity.

About the Role
As their Executive Assistant to the Global Director of Fundraising and the COO, you will play a crucial role in supporting their global leadership team. INEW and the purpose of the network
INEW members engage in research, policy and advocacy to promote greater understanding of the issues that arise from the use of explosive weapons in populated areas, and concrete steps that can be taken to address it. INEW member organisations develop partnerships calling for improved government policy and operational practice at a national level, and work together to develop stronger standards internationally. This includes efforts to advance universalisation and implementation of the Political Declaration on Strengthening the Protection of Civilians from the Humanitarian Consequences Arising from the Use of Explosive Weapons in Populated Areas, the first formal international recognition that the use of explosive weapons in populated areas is the leading cause of civilian casualties in armed conflict, and that this must be addressed urgently and directly.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As the Practitioner Psychologist/Psychotherapist delivering the partnership with the British Red Cross you will be based in two BRC Refugee Support services in Leicester and Derby whilst remaining part of the Helen Bamber Foundation Team. You will be responsible, with support from the senior Helen Bamber Foundation clinical team, for delivering assessments of individuals referred by the BRC Senior Psychosocial Practitioner. You will support effective referrals into local mental health services, and, where treatment cannot be provided elsewhere and would have significant benefits, deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to a small number of BRC clients. You will provide and support outreach and training of local health care providers to increase their capacity to support trauma survivors.
This role will include delivery of highly specialised psychological assessments for both medico-legal and clinical purposes, provision of appropriate evidence-based therapies, delivery of training to local mental health providers as well as to staff from non-clinical backgrounds who have significant client contact, internal relationship and partnership building, monitoring of outcomes, and potentially the supervision of a trainee clinical psychologist on a final year specialist placement. The role will include input into partnership development, policy, research and fundraising.
We are looking for someone who is committed to working therapeutically with individuals who have experienced human rights abuses and who have developed trauma spectrum disorders as a result. In addition to proven experience in working therapeutically with this client group, the candidate will have a passion for human rights work beyond the individual client work, and a desire to contribute to effecting change at a policy level. This role requires the ability to react and respond creatively and appropriately to the needs of the service and the partnership. You will be required to travel to London occasionally to participate in meetings, professional development and other activities (this travel will be reimbursed).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide specialist psychological assessments and deliver psychological therapies to clients of the BRC Refugee Support services in Leicester and Derby (and where approved other services in the East Midlands);
· Contribute to the monitoring of activity and outcomes from the partnership;
· Work closely with the BRC Senior Psychosocial Practitioner to develop training and outreach for the local mental health providers and where appropriate the BRC Refugee Support service teams;
· Train in the preparation of medico-legal reports and contribute to the preparation of these reports for clients of the East Midlands BRC Refugee Support services;
· Develop and carry out audits and research projects relevant to the Helen Bamber Foundation or the partnership (in collaboration with the BRC Senior Psychological Practitioner and the Director of Therapy and Executive Director of Clinical and Counter-Trafficking);
· Provide internal and external training in collaboration with the HBF clinical management team;
· Supervise junior staff; and
· Liaise with other non-statutory and statutory organisations on matters of clinical care and policy.
· Where applicable, contribute to policy and position statements with other members of the Helen Bamber Foundation and the British Red Cross and represent the partnership at conferences and other events.

Kings Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) are excited to recruit for the new KGHP Fellowship to support systems strengthening across our partner countries.
We are looking for senior Medics, Nurses, Midwives, Paramedics or Allied Health Professionals with relevant experience to support the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)-funded, Saving Lives Phase III programme in Sierra Leone. The programme aims to support the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) to deliver on improving maternal, child and reproductive health outcomes in the country, whilst strengthening health systems for a sustainable solution.
KGHP is leading a Clinical Mentorship programme across six districts in Sierra Leone to support Nurses and Midwives with vital lifesaving skills. The Fellows will support the development of a hospital education team underpinned by a continued professional development framework. Each member of the new education team will undergo a Leadership in Education programme delivered by the Fellow which will be co-created with the hospital management team.
Two recruited Fellows in each district will support the education team set up morning teaching sessions which will be rolled out across the hospital. The education team will also conduct clinical mentoring on the wards supported by the Fellow. As part of this Mentorship cascade system, hospital education teams will visit community health centres to support smaller rural health clinics in a knowledge exchange programme.
The Fellows will lead and support this exciting workforce and education development programme which is embedded in a large system strengthening project supported by a Concern Worldwide-led consortium of six NGOs across Sierra Leone.
This is a 12-month Fellowship opportunity. There are two cohorts, starting May 2025-May 2026 and August 2025-August 2026.
Academic & Professional qualifications:
Essential
• Doctors with minimum 3 years’ experience - post foundation programme.
• Band 7/8 Nurses, Midwives or AHPs with professional registration in home country (applicants from senior band 6 roles will be considered who have relevant management experience).
• Postgraduate qualification in specialism/ education & mentorship training or membership exams.
Desirable
• Diploma of hygiene and tropical medicine/nursing or country equivalent.
• Paediatric emergency care experience.
• Obs and gynae experience.
Professional Experience:
Essential
• Current, active professional healthcare license (medical license or medical registration for medical doctors) issued by one of the following countries: any EU/EEA country, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Singapore, or Malaysia.
• Knowledge of working and/or teaching in a low resource setting, public health, or global health.
• Experience mentoring and training others in both theoretical and practical sessions, including OSCE, simulation, scenarios, and lectures.
• Proven ability to lead teams in busy, fast-paced healthcare environments.
• Understanding of service delivery and operational leadership within a healthcare setting.
• Applicants from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum of C1 level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Desirable
• Clinical experience in a low resource setting.
• Implementing a quality improvement project in a low resource setting and showing impact.
• Working in an infectious diseases’ speciality.

About the Role
Learning with Parents is recruiting for a School Partnership Manager to work closely with the Schools Team to develop partnerships with new schools and support them as they launch our programme. As School Partnership Manager, you will have a key role supporting schools through our Learning with Parents programme to ensure learning spans a meaningful partnership across schools and homes.

Partnerships Executive (Interim)
The Partnerships Executive plays a key role in developing CST’s commercial relationships. Their primary responsibility is to secure conference exhibition sales to meet budget targets and manage all aspects of the exhibitor experience from prospecting to on-the-day support, to post-event communications. They also manage listings in the Directory of Services and work closely with the Partnerships Manager to support the prospecting process.
Reporting to: Partnerships Manager
Key responsibilities
1. Ensure that exhibition sales targets are met for each CST conference.
2. Maintain the CRM for commercial organisations, including creating and managing prospect groups and executing effective exhibition sales campaigns.
3. Create and maintain relevant webforms.
4. Provide excellent end-to-end support for exhibitors, including in person at larger conferences to ensure that all exhibitors’ needs are met on the day.
5. Gather feedback from exhibitors on the quality of their experience and report on what worked well and areas for improvement following each event.
6. Maintain and update marketing collateral to support CST’s commercial activities such as brochures, floorplans, briefings and manuals.
7. Cross-promote the Directory of Services to exhibitors along with other opportunities to work with CST where relevant.
8. Manage the sales and onboarding process for the Directory of Services, including overseeing the references, undertaken by a third party, sending out agreements and liaising with the marketing team on the promotion of new suppliers.
9. Support the Partnerships Manager in the development of the commercial pipeline for CST partnerships by holding initial meetings with new prospects and identifying opportunities for engagement.
