The Healthy Heart Coach will deliver health checks, provide tailored heart health lifestyle advice, and conduct heart health coaching sessions within community, workplace and event settings. The Deputy Director, Management Accounts and Reporting, is part of the FP&A function management team, and will provide leadership to transform King’s College London’s financial reporting outputs and accessibility, ensuring it meets the needs of the university’s strategic and operational priorities. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will lead a team to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management accounting and reporting, underpinned by robust governance, innovative tools, and efficient processes. This will include the use of data integration tools such as Power BI. The Deputy Director will play a central role in redesigning and delivering on King’s financial management reporting framework, leveraging systems such as Power BI and Agresso, and enhancing the reporting structures to align with the scale and nature of the university’s activities (including review/adjustments to the Chart of Management Accounts). The role will ensure that reporting outputs provide actionable insights, drive compliance with financial policies, and empower budget holders with accessible, quality-assured data, thereby also enabling the business partnering function to refocus. This role is pivotal in building a culture of accountability, consistency, and efficiency across the university’s financial management practices.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Reporting Framework
- Lead the design, implementation and operation of a new management reporting framework that aligns with King’s strategic and operational goals.
- Lead the development of a suite of consistent, quality-assured monthly and quarterly reporting products, accessible to stakeholders including through user friendly interfaces such as Power BI.
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to ensure reporting outputs align with the needs of faculties, directorates, and other key areas of activity. Process and Efficiency Improvements
- Identify and take forward opportunities for automation and process efficiency in month-end accounting, including goods received not invoiced (GRNI) recognition and other ledger adjustments.
- Lead the implementation of a refreshed Chart of Accounts, ensuring the income and expenditure (I&E) management reporting structure reflects the university’s key activities.
- Review the utilisation of financial systems, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and value in management reporting activities.
- Develop a month-end timetable, working with relevant teams to enhance the reporting cycle, facilitating meaningful, risk-based financial reviews. Governance and Compliance
- Monitor financial management activities across faculties and directorates, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
- Develop and manage a financial controls framework, providing assurance over the accuracy and reliability of management reporting.
- Working with the Finance Business Partnering function, support the transition to new financial management practices, including in the roll-out of updated policies and training for budget holders. Team Leadership and Development
- Lead the central management accounting team, ensuring they are empowered, motivated, and effectively aligned with the department’s vision and goals.
- Provide professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a high performing, collaborative culture.
- Build strong links with other finance teams, ensuring alignment and integration across the Financial Strategy, Planning, and Performance service.
Stakeholder Engagement and Insight Delivery
- Act as a key advisor to senior leaders, providing insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Build relationships with budget holders, ensuring they have access to meaningful, actionable financial information.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance Systems teams to enhance data quality, reporting tools, and user interfaces.

We are seeking our first Philanthropy Manager to cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of donors and prospective donors (including alumni and other individuals, companies and charities) to generate major gifts £10,000 - £1 million+ for the Trust.
The successful candidate will join a small Executive Team of two (Director and Stewardship Officer) and work closely with our newly appointed Chair (from 6 July 2025), the Board of Trustees, and members of its sub-committee for Alumni Relations, Fundraising and Communications.
The first Kennedy Scholars departed for Harvard and MIT in 1966. In 2026 we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of this significant milestone in our history. The impact of this life-changing opportunity over the past 60 years will feature strongly in our new fundraising campaign.
Reporting to: Director of the Kennedy Memorial Trust (KMT)
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week. We understand that full-time hours may not suit all candidates, so there is some flexibility in the hours and work schedule.

Compensation: Salary £45,000 FTE, 30 days holiday plus bank hols (FTE) and 8% employer pension contribution after 3 months’ service
Location: Home-based but within easy access to London. The post holder can work on a hybrid basis, combining predominately home-working with regular in-person meetings in London. Travel from home to London for work and meetings will be paid in accordance with any expenses policies in force at the time.
The role involves some travel, in addition to the London working requirement, for meetings/events with donors, scholars, trustees and other stakeholders – ie monthly within the UK and twice a year to the US. There will also be occasional evening and weekend commitments.

About the Kennedy Memorial Trust
The Kennedy Memorial Trust funds exceptional UK students to pursue graduate studies at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Established as a ‘living memorial’ to President Kennedy following his assassination, the Trust has supported around 600 Kennedy Scholars since the first cohort in 1966. The role
1. Fundraising activity
Contribute to the development of the new fundraising strategy.
Research, identify and pursue fundraising opportunities that meet the Trust’s strategic objectives.
Lead one-on-one and small group meetings with Trustees and key supporters to identify, develop and deliver fundraising objectives.
Assist Trustees in developing and maintaining their portfolios of prospects and donors.
Write compelling fundraising proposals and applications for funding, including bespoke proposals tailored to specific individuals.
Initiate and nurture relationships with potential high-level donors aiming to establish a strong and long-term philanthropic relationship
Lead one-on-one and small group meetings with high-level donors and potential donors and ask them for significant financial contributions.
Maintain and develop professional, trusted and productive relationships with current and past donors, and with a range of priority stakeholders.
Use appropriate and effective negotiation skills to motivate and guide donors to make gifts at a high level.
2. Processes and Procedures
Ensure the Trust is compliant with all relevant aspects of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and the Charity Commission.
Maintain a professional approach to handling sensitive and confidential information, complying with privacy and data protection legislation.
Maintain the Trust’s suite of policies and procedures related to fundraising and donor engagement.
Actively engage in external networks to identify new prospective donors.
Contribute to monthly and quarterly fundraising performance reports and present progress to the trustee board and its committe
Accurately record donor interactions in the CRM database and contribute to improving data management and analysis processes.
Regularly update the Executive team on fundraising activities and seek their input and support as needed.
Work closely with the Stewardship Officer to develop and implement solicitation and stewardship plans for donors and prospects.
Participate in team decision-making by suggesting creative solutions and engaging in strategic planning discussions.
Any other duties which may be required by the Director.

Experience and education required:
Experience of professional fundraising, with a track record of successfully securing major (£10k+) gifts from individuals, Foundations and businesses.
Educated to degree level
Experience of delivering a fundraising programme and pipeline to meet financial targets.
Experience identifying, negotiating and managing resource requirements in support of fundraising activity
Experience of having worked with high-level donors
Demonstrable understanding of higher education in UK and US
Demonstrable understanding of data protection/ Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and the Charity Commission.
High computer literacy in standard office packages and experience in using databases.

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Institute to lead the development and delivery of a detailed IOPHC strategy that responds to the new LAA strategy. Working closely with the Medical Director and other senior clinicians, this role will ensure that the IOPHC remains well aligned with the clinical work of the service.
The successful candidate will lead the creation of a clinical innovation function, ensuring that the IOPHC acts as a key enabler for new clinical developments, and continues to expand opportunities for LAA to influence pre-hospital care nationally and internationally.

The role
You’ll coordinate Build Up’s year-round programme of youth-led design and construction projects, managing two Construction Project Managers to deliver them. Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Comms, the post-holder will be responsible for fundraising from individuals across the East Midlands to increase annual income and awareness of Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Working primarily with individual donors, prospects and suspects, the post-holder will also work together with our Corporate, Community, Comms and Marketing colleagues in support of our overall objectives.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve or exceed agreed income and productivity targets through successful development and management of IG fundraising
- Cultivate and grow income through engaging a portfolio of individual donors (from regular givers to higher value donors), legacy prospects and in-memory donors
- Develop and implement a creative and innovative IG fundraising action plan to grow income, generate new leads and manage ongoing relationships
- Work with the Head of Marketing to build and execute a plan to grow awareness and acquisition of regular and legacy sign-ups for all IG income streams
- Line management of the Fundraising Assistant, in partnership with the Senior Community Fundraising Manager
- Conduct prospect research to identify best prospects and plan approaches to introduce the Charity to secure support from low to high value donor
- Cultivate and develop relationships with new prospects, working closely with the Director of Fundraising on relationship development
- Provide effective relationship management and stewardship to provide support and develop fundraising activity to increase retention of IG givers, maximising lifetime value
- To engage with and steward a diverse range of IG donors where required
- To develop and implement creative fundraising initiatives to encourage IG and Legacy prospects to engage with Nottingham Hospitals Charity quickly and easily
- To plan and execute events and opportunities for IG donors, prospects and Legators to showcase our work
- To work with Fundraising colleagues to develop and support the events programme, particularly promoting opportunities to IG database
- Work closely with the Income Manager to ensure water-tight GDPR adherence and processes across the fundraising team
- To ensure the meticulous recording of all data on Raiser’s Edge and filing systems (including personal data and financial information)
- To work with Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s fundraising, administrative and IT systems and guidelines
- To represent Nottingham Hospitals Charity internally and externally as required
- To regularly work outside of regular office hours

Working closely with the Executive Director, senior team members and trustees, we are looking for an Executive Assistant and Company Secretary who has knowledge and experience of working with senior management and trustees in the arts and/or charitable sector to support the effective governance and leadership of the organisation.

Contract and Hours

Key Responsibilities
- Act as Company Secretary for board and committee meetings - Organise meetings, planning up to a year in advance and working with trustees to ensure availability
- Prepare papers, ensure that they are issued in a timely manner, draft minutes, keep log of follow up actions
- Support the Executive Director with email and correspondence
- Drafting responses and acting as a first responder, provide personal assistant duties and leadership administration, such as arranging internal and external meetings, travel itineraries and diary management
- Meeting preparation: Prepare agendas, gather necessary materials, and follow up on action items from meetings
- Support the Executive Director in drafting briefing documents, reviewing policy documents and providing succinct summaries
- Project support: Assist with project management tasks, including research, data compilation, and presentation preparation
- Make use of time-saving tools (AI) and ensure that Executive Office is run efficiently and productively
- Support Craft Council Executive team with administration duties, including diary management, presentation design, meeting and travel co-ordination and follow up, processing invoices and expenses
- Support with event management where required, e.g. board and staff away days
- Support the recruitment and induction of new trustees, ensuring that induction packs are up to date and accurate
- Provide administrative support to the Chairs & trustees as required
- Reconcile financial expenditure, such as credit cards, raise purchase orders and code invoices as required
- Be an ambassador for the Crafts Council and represent it at appropriate events
- Be discrete, maintaining confidentiality and being comfortable dealing with a wide range of people
Note: Board related meetings include Trustee meetings (4 per year), Finance Audit & Risk meetings ( 4 - 6 per year), Nominations and Remuneration Committee meetings (x 1 per year) and other Committees and Panels (as required).

A day in the life

Some things we're looking for
- 6-8 years experience in a hands-on paid media planning and buying role using a mix of digital channels (Social, Search, Display, Video, Audio, etc)

Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme.
